Oportun Niles Pt, Bakersfield

This store has great atmosphere. Julie is a great supervisor and her team is amazing. This is by far my favorite store to visit for payments. They always make the process simple for me and greet me at the door every time. Very professional team. Highly recommend for service and questions!!

Vanessa is so passionate about her job ! I came in yesterday and she was very helpful in all the questions i had. She explained the auto loans and personal loans ! Thanks Vanessa I will definitely recommend this store

EXTREMELY TERRIBLE customer service!!!! I have been a loyal customer for over 6 years and I came in to make a payment and they told me to wait. 3 people available and no one could help me?? They had another lady sitting on the bench waiting.. VERY RUDE. I love oportun but this store certainly needs to know a little bit more about customer service.

i came into the store today to ask questions about my loan i was not planning on taking my offer but i was assisted by janethe she explained every detail about the loan although i was still not sure about it her kindness and knowledge made me fell comfortable and trusting of her i took the loan and i am happy the store has some like her here to make people feel confident!!!

I've takin out a loan 2 times before. The first time i qualified for 2,500. The second time they said I qualified $3,700 but i only took out $1,200. I ended up needing more money then what I took outside and they told me i would have to return the 1,200 in order to get the higher loan and pay a $75 fee which I did. I reapplied that very moment again and told me i only qualified for $1,200 which made no sense to me because they told me i would qualify for more, I couldn't even talk to a a store manager I had to call their Customer service manager. I explained the situation and asked how come I qualified for $3,700 earlier and Now I only qualify for $1,200 which makes no sense to me. Wanna know what they told me? " Sir just because you qualified for more last time doesn't mean you will get more the next time you apply, sorry there's nothing I can do it's out of my power". I got so freaking pissed. If that's the case then what's the point of having a good paying job and a good credit score ?. So basically the store associates lied to me and I paid a $75 fee and I never qualified for a higher loan. So I just went to prosper online and got a higher loan. So if you go to oportun make sure you know exactly how much money you need before you take it out. The payments aren't that high but their customer service and policies really suck
