I went in with a specific card issue and the lady was super rude. Seemed like she had no interest in helping me and just brushed me aside and gave me a phone number for automated card help (which I had already tried before). I explained that I'd already tried it and that I needed a different solution but she told me that there was nothing else she could do to help. Later I talked to a representative on the phone and they told me she had cancelled my card without telling me after instructing me to call to active it and refusing to issue me a new one as I'd asked while I was there. Very annoying, as I rarely have time to go into an OnPoint location and when I finally did they were unfriendly and unhelpful. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the lady on the phone was super nice.

    Response from the owner

This bank used to be a friendly home town feeling place. I since it was "sold" or there was a change in management a number of years ago it has deteriorated into something akin to Wells Fargo! The people are appear cold and inexperienced. From what was once a very responsive bank, now if call you would be lucky to talk to someone before being disconnected. Hold times on the phone are crazy without any music or other things to notify you that you are still on hold. From what I understand from former employees the new management is all about cutting service, overburdening their employees in the name of squeezing dollars out of the customer. I recently withdrew my money from Bank of America, the gold standard for poor service, for much of the same reasons above. I put it into Onpoint. But this bank is worse. Well my money will be on the move again.

Although there is no onsite parking here there is a unique bike-through and I found street parking in a matter of seconds on a Saturday. Staff was friendly and followed covid protocols. They helped me and I was on my way fairly quickly and smoothly.

    Response from the owner

Humberto, Thanks for sharing your experience. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Best, -OnPoint

Great credit union, exceptional customer service they follow through and really make an effort. I had an issue opening an account and they went above and beyond my expectations of customer service by contacting the higher ups to make sure I was able to open an account it was great and I plan on staying with them for a while. I see where some reviews mentioning there’s no parking. Well this branch is specifically located in an area where there’s not a lot of parking to the public and it’s pretty obvious The building this credit union is located and does not offer parking oh however it’s great for me because I live nearby and it’s within walking distance. There’s so many on point credit unions most people are able to go to a different location if they are driving.

This is an update from my 5 star review. I had come in to report fradulant activity and I recieved prompt and friendly service in getting the money returned to my account. However I was told the only thing I could do was take the business to small claims court in order to protect myself. I told another OnPoint member about this and she was very surprised they didn't give me a new card since somehow somebody got my account info. When I called OnPoint the lady cancelled that card and apoligized profusely that it was not done when I reported the fraud leading me to believe this branch is willing to cut corners at the customers expense. I hope this helps in choosing which branch to use. Do be aware there is no dedicated parking for OnPoint customers.

My account has been completely withdrawn by the bank and their rediculous fees. I was on deployment and my account was charged $5 per month because my mailing address changed. I came back to find out that my account is at zero. Say no to abundant fees, say no to On point credit union. Response to OnPoint's comment: I was advised to hand over the account statements OnPoint has sent me to my lawyer. My lawyer also advised that I should not let you correct the issue. He emphasized on the importance of patience. I hope this clears things up, and we will be speaking soon.

    Response from the owner

Dylan, Thanks for raising your concern. This is a policy that we have in place to help ensure that we have the most up to date information for our members. Sending financial documents to the wrong address can create security concerns for member accounts, as well as, the credit union. However, we evaluate situations on a case by case basis and would like to discuss this with you further. One of our Member Services Managers has left you two voicemails over the last two days in an attempt to get in touch and help address your concerns. If possible, please give us a call back. We hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, -OnPoint

No parking! It does have a bike drive thru?!? Just head straight to Lloyd center branch on 9th ave and save yourself the headache...

    Response from the owner

Ezra, Thanks for your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience. Having a branch in this high traffic area has proven to be a great benefit to much of our membership. Unfortunately, we were not able to provide OnPoint specific parking. We're always looking for ways to make experiences more convenient, and due to our branch being near a major bike commuter lane, we added our first bike thru. Thanks for noticing! If our parking circumstance changes in the future, we'll be sure to let everyone know! Best, -OnPoint

I have tried to find this location about 5 times, it is amazing to have another bank so close by. I wish I could find the location, but so far, I haven't been lucky.

    Response from the owner

Temari, thanks for reaching out. We're on the first floor of the Carbon 12 building just across Williams Ave from the New Seasons. We hope to see you soon! Best, OnPoint
