OneMain Financial I, Spring

I applied for a small loan only because Credit Karma recommended. I received several text messages once the loan was submitted. I received an email to give them a call for additional information. I returned Eduardo's phone call and give him information lacking. He said he would get back with me once he submitted to supervisor. I never received a call and left several messages and voice mails without success. When I finally did speak with him and it was my understanding he did not return my calls because the loan was declined and the paperwork was SWIPED, which I'm assuming was trashed. So I guess if your declined they won't call you back...GO FIGURE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. THE ONE STAR IS ONLY BECAUSE I HAD TO.

Horrible customer service! My husband has called them non stop to find out about his approval and yet to get a callback. He was told they wanted the VIN for our car with no explanation why! We never requested a loan with collateral. Good luck getting a callback!

This company really needs to stop harassing their customers. They call pretty much every week offering more money and the answer is always the same. NO! I receive an average 2-3 letters every week about the same thing. I am busy working and managing a business. I don't have time for this nonsense. And today they decided to call the number of a relative I put down as a reference asking for me because I didn't answer when they called offering more money! You DO NOT call references for that! What the heck is wrong with you! My account is current and there's no reason for you to be calling anyone but me! I can't wait to finish paying off this loan and get rid to this company! One day I tried to process a payment online and the card got declined, I forgot I got a replacement and less than an hour later (while I was trying to find the right card) they called to "help me" with my payment. Look at the account! I make my payments online every month! I do not need you to call me! If I need help I will call! In one word this company is annoying!

One Main has been my “Main” financial help throughout all of my life challenges. Even when I’ve felt defeated, their staff LISTENED to me and encouraged me which is something very rare in this digital age. Thank you and I appreciate all that you have done for me and my family!

Very fast online approval and then the approval email told me to go into the OneMain branch location on 45 and cypresswood to complete my loan & told me everything I needed to bring. Upon getting there the wait was a little long but it was okay because they greeted us when we walked in and offered us something to drink. Once we sat down with the Loan Origonator he was very fast and helpful, we eSigned all of the documents and he told us the money would be in our account the next day. It was in there the next morning when I woke up!

Byron Garrett from the Spring, TX location was truly a Godsend during my loan process. He patiently waited and worked with me while I had to complete some things on my end (a long story)! Everything went so well that I thought for sure at the very end it would turn bad BUT it didn't! Byron delivered for me like he promised and went ABOVE and BEYOND in making sure I had my money expeditiously! Thank you Byron for your EXCELLENT customer service!!

I could not have had a better experience getting a loan than I did when I went to apply at OneMain. Byron was so helpful and compassionate with my situation, I can't express my gratitude enough for their help and I would and have already been telling family and friends that this is the place to go.

Apparently all you need is a GED to be the manager of this place. I was told i was ahead on my payment, and if i needed to skip a half payment, I'd be fine since i was ahead. Then after the MANAGER agreed, i started being charged late fees. When i spoke to the disrespectful manager, he told me "I find it hard to believe we told you that!" Now they want me to pay 600 in late fees because of THEIR incompetence. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They log calls, but not the contents of their calls. Do not trust this place!!!

Everyone was very helpful and polite! I had no issues with the staff here. Process was pretty smooth.
