DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CREDIT UNION.... Go to Apple, Navy Fed, or other Credit Union... Especially for lending. They are very misleading and provide inaccurate information. 3 years of income and employment verification for a simple small loan SMH My credit is is impecable currently how are they looking at these applications? I SHOULD OF READ ALL THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT LENDING!

I love the staff! They are all super nice and welcoming. We are using them as shared branch and they are equally nice. Love their coffee and cookies. Kids are welcome!

My company has enjoyed being apart of the NWFCU local branch here in Gainesville. Staff are always attentive and friendly. While we appreciate the branch and just about everything it offers. There is one issue. Their ATM. When we first started going they had an outdated ATM that worked perfectly but would slow things down a bit with how it worked or by the fact you could only insert one check per cycle. The good news-new machine was install a month or so ago (you can deposit 30 checks at a time). Bad news-you will have to tangle with the machine to get it to accept just one check. If you are lucky. While I don’t mind much going inside it is tough fighting the evening lines when we can make it after business hours. The process was normally to drive up to the ATM after hours and turn a 30 minute process into 5 minutes. It became routine. That is no longer our routine. It’s true that most don’t deposit many checks per day/week/month, however, as a business owner we end up with quite a few each day. I’m not so disgruntled with the lines (as that is normal), or the faulty equipment (as that happens with everything in life). It is the fact that the branch is well aware of the issue and has yet to fix it. I would like to remain apart of the branch and not move onto another bank. But something really needs to be done about the ATM. (I’ve uploaded the photo of the screen. While it would be common sense that it just needs to be moved to the right or left, around, down...etc. there is not a single way or angle that we have not tried with every type of check I’ve seen).

My family moved to VA a couple of years ago and needed a local financial institution. We could not be more iimpressed with NWFCU customer service. They actively seek solutions to our families needs and have never failed to exceed our expectations. Thank you NWFCU.

Always a good experience at this branch. Everyone is friendly and they take always make my banking transactions fast and easy.

An absolute Pathetic, and helpless bank. No one will answer your call or help you. Cancelling all my accounts.
