The biggest scam company ever!. Be aware of this company. Bunch of lies. I wanted to cancel this service right after 6 months when this SNEAKY agent walked into my office and trapped me into signing the agreement. I did not read it (The biggest mistake). I called customer service to close the account and they said you have 4 years of agreement and if you close now you have to pay THOUSANDS of dollars in penalty plus RESTOCKING FEE ( Scam). They have 112 google reviews as of today and all of them are 1 start. Please some one take them to court so they can stop scamming innocent people. I am surprised that karma hasn't caught up with the owners yet. I must say the money that this company has scammed from us with get stuck into their throats. I am going to wait and wish upon them a terrible unbreakable misery.

If i could leave a negative 5 star review I would. I have never dealt with a more felonious company in my life. The woman seemed very sincere and honest. I was prompted to sign a contract on a cellphone I could not read. I was told I could cancel anytime. To later find out I had been tricked into a 4 year contracts with a 1 thousand dollars a year early termination fee. I finally mad it to the end of the contract so now they want to tell me there is a 150.00 restocking fee to send the terminal back after I paid over 4 thousand dollars to fulfill the contract. I have never felt so mad in my life. I wish that something could be done so this company can never do this again. Don't ever use NORTHERN LEASING EQUIPMENT they are the worst kind of company to do business with thieves and liars all the way to the end!

I completely agree with the other comments, I could not think of a worst company to work with. I have an electronic sign with them, and was trying to get rid of it. I started calling them, in December trying to get them to take it back and stop billing me for it. I left numerous messages for them, and nothing. Finally talked to someone and they said send shipping quotes to send it back, so I did, they said they were not right. So I sent more, then they called and said I did not need to send it back,if I paid the last payment it was mine. I don't want the stupid thing, that is what started it all. If I would give them no stars I could. I would advise anyone against going thru these people, they don't listen to reason, and their customer service staff suck. So unhappy right now.

This is a total scam!! Do not do business with them they are horrible. They keep charging me 43.44$ monthly for a lease that ended 4 years ago. When you call you are on hold forever, people are rude and they never call you back. I asked for a copy of my contract with them by e-mail and they refused to send it to me. Never had a worst experience in my life, if I could rate 0 stars I would.

If I could give this company a negative star I would!! This place is a scam. I paid $177.84 for 4 years which equals $8536.32 for the machine rental and fulfilled my contract for a machine I NEVER SWIPED 1 CARD THROUGH. Then after the 4 years, they tell me I owe $150 restocking fee and a final month payment of $177.84. Plus somehow I lost a pad and they want to charge me $400 for something that is obsolete and you could buy on Amazon for $6. They know you are ending your lease so they suck you out of every last penny!

Worst business I have ever delt with, I can agree on the awful reviews. These people are rude, malicious, vindictive. We have tried to terminate our account for 6 months. they keep giving us half information and charging our account. Then when I called today, I told them they need to have more compitent employees and he started furiously yelling at me that this is my fault??? How is it my fault that with every phone call NO ONE has helped us settle these issues. Thank you today my faith in humanity is looking a bit bleak.

I was using there system for maybe 6 months and I canceled and switch over to Bank of America I was told I wasn't on a contract so I filled out return paper work and sent the package back just how there paper work stated to do. I keep getting bills l and every time I call they tell me to disregard it and they will fix it on there system, now I received another notice for almost $2,000 in outstanding balances and charges ?? Stay away from this company.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY Absolutely the worst kind of company to deal with. We were not renewing our contract and sent back the leased equipment well within the time frame told us. They debited our account the following month for another lease payment past the contract expiration date. When I called to find out why they stated they had mailed a letter to inform me the pin pad returned was not the same model as the lease VX 820 vs VX 805. I mailed back the original equipment sent by Retriever Merchant Solutions. To date, April 17,2020 I have not received said letter. They said if I didn't return the VX 805 I would be charged $101 plus change. The supervisor contacted me and suggested I get in touch with merchant services to see if we had been to an 820 as an upgrade even though I knew that not to be the case. Merchant services said they'd send an 805 to help me out. I called the leasing company back only to find out that a decision had been made to "accept the wrong equipment as of that day's date so that they could keep the April lease payment debit but would give me the courtesy of not having to pay the remaining balance from the $101 plus charge for returning the wrong equipment. I tried over and over to speak with the supervisor. The last call I was told the supervisor had called again the day before and left another message - they did not. These folks are liars and scammers.

I wish I could rate this with negative stars. This company is a scam and nearly impossible to get a hold of. Our company leased a very expensive cc processing machine with them. We terminated our contract, paid all necessary fees and returned the equipment. The check has cleared and I have proof of delivery of machine. It is now 2 months later and are still being charged the monthly lease fee. They do not answer their phones and will not return any messages that have been left. Run fast and far, this company is nothing but a scam!

The poorest quality of equipment I have ever seen, many time I had functions and the machines were down, or broken all together. They try to enforce the lease agreements but my lawyer has informed me that if they are not providing reliable equipment then the agreement is null and void. Most often when calling the service number for Canada it switches automatically to the US, and their machines are different. DO NOT sign up with this company, they will try to bully you into paying for their garbage!

This is the most evil corrupt company! I'd give negative stars if it let me. I signed up after they lied and manipulated a low fee then right away it doubled then I tried to cancel cause there liars and it's taken me 5 years to cancel every year they keep charging me!! I think the only way to stop is to close my bank account!! And sue there asses ... as you can read reviews and online they already have sooo many law suits against them ... they have made my life hell and there taking from my business!! Stay away from them they will only lie steal and cheat

This company is a told scam. I called back in April of 2018 to ask when will my last payment be done the guy told me 01/15/2019. So I called today to make sure my last payment will be on that date. I spoke with this rude lady but the name Alice. She told me that I have to pay 189.20 or the will keep charging me a monthly payment. Told scam scam scam. I'm gonna report them and file a lawsuit against the company.

This is the absolute worst company that has ever existed. It is all a HUGE SCAM to steal your money. They lie and cheat and get you to sign a ridiculously long contract that you CANNOT get out of. When your lease is FINALLY over, you have to pay a $150 'restocking' fee and if they don't receive their equipment back within 10 days of your lease ending, they charge you another month's lease! And they wont give you the address to send it back to so you will get charged no matter what! The customer service is rude and hangs up on you multiple times in attempt to keep you from canceling. Why hasn't this company been shut down yet?!? Disgusting!

THIS IS A COMPANY HANDMADE FROM TH DEVIL. All the people that work there are so rude. and help this company to rip off people. You guys that work there I feel for you having to do the dirty job to make a crook fill his pockets with dishonest money. I was under a contract that i paid till the end thousands of DOLLARS. Made sure to send the cancellation on time so they would stop charging me. When i did that they came out that when i send the equipment back to send a restocking fee of $150,00 OMG another rip off I send a brand new machine in the box that it came in. comes December they charge my account i called and they said that they never received the equipment which i send it certify with proof of signature. they ask for proof. My wallet was lost so the proof was lost. I told them to check there warehouse they we so rude no no no no. I went to the post office the supervisor that could help me was out on sick leave since November and would not come back until February 2019. Finally I got the tracking number and a video when i send it out. a EMPLOYEE OF THEM NAME J.DAVIS signed. Here they are taking $61.52 since December till march 2019. I call and tell Alice and now shes like i froward it to have someone review it. I just don't understand this company all there reviews are 1 because there is no negative (-) 100.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. 3 Months into our "Non Cancelable" Agreement i stopped using them due to the higher than agreed charges. Instead of paying their crazy cancel fee, i rode out the contract for 4 years and paid the monthly charge each month on time as their machine sat in a box. Contract ended, machine was sent in, and Now they want a re-stocking fee. I would be fine with it except every time they call i get a different number other than what the bill says. Screw these guys. With all the cheap options today, go elsewhere

The behavior of this 'company' can only be referred to as fraud or larceny. They are THIEVES, plain and simple. Not on of the rates I was promised in my 'non-cancel-able' were accurate and every time I called them I kept getting different numbers for my rates and my buyout for when the contract ended. Calling or support was bad enough, transfer after transfer only to be disconnected. But when I wanted to cancel (after I found out the contract actually could be cancelled (another lie from them) I was put on hold for close to two hours, called a liar (because I found a much less expensive option) and the 'manager' I was speaking to even tried to bully me into keeping my lease, threatening legal action! I documented everything in case of legal action. I VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER AND MUCH MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE OPTIONS FOR YOUR p.o.s! SAVE YOURSELVES A WHOLE LOT OF GRIEF AND ANXIETY AND AVOID NORTHERN LEASING AND ANY COMPANY THAT THEY DEAL WITH! PLEASE!!!! I would give ZERO stars if that were an option.

Well I've just had one of the worst experiences ever with this company. As the equipment I had least was obsolete 2 years ago . & was having trouble I called the number on the side of the terminal. The number wasn't Northern Leasing systems,company Northern systems or whatever they want to call their selves.That was the retriever company which sent me a new machine that was up to date and working. Northern Leasing systems company never contacted me and told me I needed a new machine or that it was no longer a workable machine with the new technology out there. When I brought this up to the man on the phone today he said it wasn't their responsibility to keep their terminals up to date they just lease it they don't service it. now 11 months after the lease is up.... the machine is long gone because it was never asked to be returned. I I called to try to end this as I was still being charged$39.27 a month. The associate I dealt with was rude. Said he was going to transfer me so I could pay off this piece of useless Machinery at a total of 250 plus dollars. They put me on hold three times and then disconnected me. I called back the same associate answer the phone put put me on hold immediately when he heard my lease number. Rude rude rude . I wouldn't even give these people one star if I didn't have to leave this review. Cut your losses don't even bother with this company that's the shoddiest worst company I've ever dealt with in all my 21 years of business. As this is just my opinion I would hope other people had other good things happen with this company but seeing their rate is 1 * and they have 80 some reviews be your own judge.

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE customer service. Called to get directions on how to return my leased equipment and once she found that out it was game over. What a royal b×÷+ She started out by telling me they were getting ready to close. Huh, maybe she shouldn't have answered the phone then. When I called her out for her rudeness things went downhill from there. Wouldn't have given 1 star but had to in order to leave review. By the looks of other reviews they dont care.

I don't want to give them even one star! READ THEIR CONTRACT CAREFULLY, Signed up with a merchant machine through Northern Leasing Company- after they said it would save us more than what we were currently paying, After 5 days I decided I didn't want to use them but they said I couldn't cancel, so I never even used their machine We got stuck in a 48 month contract in which their price went up (how is that even legal?), wanted to cancel and in turn they charged a ridiculous cancellation fee of $1400, then when we tried to negotiate with them for the bogus 5 year contract, they in turn sent us to collections and sued us for the whole contract amount (even though we made payments)!!! I was just told they have a class action law suit against them!! Serves them right!!!!

If I could give this company zero stars I would. When the lease was over these scam artist continued to charge my bank for 2 months over 400 dollars they told me 4/6 weeks for a check. I am calling 2 months later they ask for my lease number then transfer me to a voicemail. I call back and now the operator won’t even answer. There will come a time where you people will have to answer for your sins and I know you all will get what you deserve.

My husband signed a lease with this company and 2 years into it he wanted to cancel the lease. We had to pay to cancel the lease and send the machine back( it was very expensive to cancel the lease). We paid and sent the machine back and thought that was it. 8 MONTHS later my husband received a letter stating that they never received the machine and they were going to reinstate the lease or we had to pay for the machine. I called them and they said they never received it and unless I could provide proof that we were gonna have to pay. Thank god I kept the paperwork in case something like this came up but I didn't keep the tracking information to show them, ( I wasn't expecting to be contacted 8 month later about not receiving the machine.) Thank god I went to my local mail room and paid with my Credit card because were able to print out the tracking information for me. The tracking showed it was delivered and someone signed for it. I sent the proof of Delivery two days ago and have yet to hear back. If you are looking for a new CC company DO NOT LEASE FROM NORTHERN LEASING, they are incompetent and from the day my husband signed his lease we had issues with them charging us and not being able to explain any of the charges!!

Do not sign contract with NLS !!!! It’s a scam!!!! They will withdraw money from your account at any time and any amount they wish ! Even if you’ve paid your monthly payment , they’ll find an excuse to take more . I would love to give them no stars !!!! It’s a nightmare to deal with customer service and accounting department. This time they withdrew $255.72 out of my account and they can not explain why. I’m still waiting for answer. In the meantime I had to close my bank account and will have to pay by check. . I would love to cancel my contract with them but they threatened to sue me if I won’t pay the cancellation fee . Just a nightmare!!!!

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE AGREEMENT with this company! We were REQUIRED to lease a VX520 terminal from them by our processing company at the time. We used it for six months before switching to internet processing. Northern WOULD NOT allow us to return the equipment or get out of the lease. We paid $129 per month for next 54 months and never used the terminal. After the expiration of the original lease agreement, I called today to tell them I was sending the terminal back and terminating my agreement. They informed me that I was required to pay an extra month PLUS $150 re-stocking fee! To avoid the restocking fee, they offered me the opportunity to buy the equipment for $999.95! Another merchant company offered us the SAME piece of equipment for $19.95 TOTAL, with no lease agreement.
