TD Bank 18th St, Jersey City

They won't give me my money back! Worst banking experience of my life and I'm sure many others who go to this bank goes through the same. Individuals who work here either don't care, don't understand customer service, or simply are not trained properly. Maybe it's the branch manager who needs some training on customer service. I will be taking legal action if this continues.

Absolutely inhumane service. I went to this location to transfer funds, the agent entered incorrect information (when I gave him written information and had given same information last week for another transfer) for every single field of the transfer. I went back again next day to get all the fields corrected. If I call to inquire about the transfer, people talk very rudely and make it seem like I am inconveniencing them by asking these questions to follow up on my transfer which includes my life savings. There is no empathy or understanding even if it’s their fault for entering incorrect information. People are always in a haste, make it seem like you are inconveniencing them and are extremely rude. Definitely does not live up to the image of “America’s most convenient bank.” I have never been more inconvenienced in my life.

It is pathetic the customer service support they apply in this location. I’ve had to call multiple times and no one was able to take care of the situation. Had to take time out of my job to come and take care of something as simple as a secure credit card. Had came 3 different times spoke with 3 different bank employees for over 45 minutes each. A month later and I don’t even have an application in the system. Then I ask to close my account and they said I count my close an account so I will have to come back again! If I may save you time, Do NOT OPEN A BANK Account with such incompetent employees. The worst experience I have ever had to go threw. Opened an account a month ago and now on the process to close all type of communications with them !!

Actually I’m coming here to complain, because the person who helped was really rude in this TD branch. But I suddenly felt relief when I come here, I was not the only person he was rude to. I closed my TD account because of him, I see there are so many people who closed their accounts in this branch too. I’m sorry if he has any mental problems.

TD is a decent bank but this branch is...just wow. Bank elsewhere in Jersey City.

I give five stars for the bank especially because of Latoya. she is professional, warm-hearted, friendly and pretty. you can tell she really cares about customers and loves her job. So I guess this bank is really doing good and takes care of it’s employees.

I don't normally write reviews, but today was my first experience as a new customer at TD Bank and it was a good one. Went in around 5pm to get some documents notarized, and waited a few minutes. Met with Latoya, who not only notarized my documents, but also helped me find the nearest FedEx. When I told her that I didn't have a FedEx envelope, she went and got me one of the ones the bank had on hand. I'm not used to this kind of customer service these days.

Worst experience ever. It’s as if they’re doing you a favor by doing their job, not all of them….

Zero customer service. Don't wast your time. Go to another location, a mild inconvenience would get you the quality service that TD's supposed to be known for.

On 6/28/2020: Two of the staff members asked me to wait in the drive through between the cars but totally serviced everyone else in the ATM lobby. I didn’t understand why they thought putting my life in danger (as the customer) was the best way for me to get a new card. I had my passport and i didn’t have a car to wait in since I can walk her there. Circumstance: I lost my wallet and i was traveling for work in two days.I desperately needed a new bank card. I told explained this to the staff politely but was dismissed and disregarded to stand in line between moving cars in the drive-thru. Why? Of all the people that you serviced you chose me to wait in the drive-thru? I get to the window and another woman comes and asks me to walk back to the ATM Lobby receive my new card and passport. What was the point ?!!! Good bank but this branch needs help in operations and safety.
