Northeast Community Credit Union Jason Witten Way, Elizabethton

I love the branch on 19-E and the one behind Elizabethton high is also good to go to. I usually have a great experience with this bank and have banked here for over six years. Today, however, I dealt with the rudest woman ever at the one behind the high school. Never in my life have I dealt with anyone rude at this bank. I left there and went to the one on 19-E and there was no problem. I think I will go there until that woman leaves or I can deal with someone else.

I have never had so many issues with a credit union before. Like most they have a daily limit for transactions which is fine, except they don't tell you they also have an "offline limit" which is usually set to zero. And they ha e offline time EVERY night around midnight sometimes lasting about 2 hours. So if you have a night shift and need gas at 12:30 i hope you brought cash. When i called and complained about not being told i was told they wont change the limit till my next review for limits which was in 4 months from that time. Then there was the time my card was locked by mistake on a sat. They are open via drive thru on sat, so went to discuss it and ended up having to go back 3 times and still had to come back mon cus "we just cant do that on a saturday". Also found out they have no billing protection for things like double billed etc. They told me they could dispute fraud, but not a double billing. Have since switched banks to one that i can use my card anytime of day, can actually fix issues ANYTIME they are open, and has the proper billing dispute protections that pretty much all credit unions and banks have. The staff are very nice and i hold none of this against them, but some big policy changes need to be made.

We love Northeast CCU. Customer service is always excellent. Brandy Arnett was friendly and helped us open a new account today. NECC is a huge part of our community too and we appreciate that.

Awesome place! Passionate about member service. They go the extra mile, before you even ask for it. More than 140,000 Free ATM's across the country (All point, CU24, etc.) The employees are like a work-family and treat everyone with respect. Full service loans, online & mobile app banking, solid interest rates, pet friendly! They will call to verify your checks so you can usually get the money right away, even if you don't have enough in the account to cover it. They're very dedicated and actively support our community with donations, charities, events, etc.

Great staff and great service! I recently had an issue where a scammer gained access to my account and made several unauthorized charges in another state. Regina helped me with this and the issue was resolved speedily. She also took time to explain what had happened and gave me good information to further protect my account. These are home town folks who care about their members!

After an abysmal first impression of Happy Valley Credit Union, my wife and I went to Northeast Community Credit Union for information about a car loan. I was very impressed with the comfortable and friendly yet completely professional service provided by everyone there. The loan officer answered all of our questions in as much detail as we wanted, and the rate we were offered for our loan was great! About six weeks later I went to the drive-through on a Saturday to make my first loan payment, and the man who took care of it was also extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I'd recommend these folks to anybody.

Don't like making changes to the website so often. Very frustrating

Stephanie Grindstaff helped our son get his first car purchase on his own. She went above & beyond to make sure he got in the vehicle he wanted. She is truly there for the members of the credit union!

I gave up years ago on banks. To me I was just a direct deposit in my checking account. The banks didn't care about me. Totally different at Northeast Community Credit Union where I'm treated with respect. The staff at the main branch is so nice. I'm so happy I became a member of NCCU 4 years ago. Highly recommended!

Love this bank. The employees are wonderful. I wish they stayed open a bit later during the week and on Saturdays though. The building is beautiful. The tellers are polite and efficient. Opening accounts for my kids here was quick & easy, and the new accounts clerks are very helpful.

I absolutely love Northeast Community Credit Union! Everyone is always so friendly whether I'm making a quick trip through the drive-thru or need to come inside. They all know me by name and make me feel like I'm more than just another customer. I will never bank anywhere else. Anytime I've ever had a problem, someone has ALWAYS been more than willing to help me. Thank you Northeast Community Credit Union for being the best!

I have been banking here for a while now (both personal and business), I am always greeted by name when I go to the bank. If I have to call I am always greeted by a live person not some automated, go through the prompts, wasting my time system. The fraud protection system they have in place is top rate. Check out the rates on any of their offerings whether loans, CD,s, or savings. Now couple it with their customer service. You can not go wrong.

I have had my personal and business accounts with NECCU for the past 5 years. What stands out to me the most is the number of times a few of the tellers have gone above and beyond for me. My experience is limited to a certain few, and I appreciate their friendly, yet professional behavior. It's important to me that I can trust those who are handling my financial affairs.

Love this bank they are friendly and helpful they take care of their customers. Someone stole my information on my debit card and tryed to use it they seen it and called me stopped it from going through and gave me a new card so thankful to them for taking such good care of my bank account.
