Not surprised to find several comments about how rude the staff in this company is. At on point someone was yelling at me for asking a question. If they are so miserable doing their jobs they should do something else.

I've experienced nearly 10 closings as a buyer and seller and have NEVER had a bad experience until North Port Title. I feel so strongly that this is the first (and hopefully only) time I have posted a review online. Above all, I caution you in using North Port Title. My closing was grossly mishandled and misinformed from the beginning. Documents were reviewed and we were told they were approved by the underwriter and then after the fact we were told they were not acceptable, causing a lengthy delay in the closing. The documents they produced had many typos throughout, from the sellers name, the wrong title listed throughout -- even the typos had typos. This is sloppy work and a true testament to the quality of their work. They also were incapable of understanding the members of an LLC as clearly listed on Sunbiz and therefore started a complicated and unnecessary process that could not be reversed. I had to involve (and pay for) an attorney to supervise and assist with this closing (as the seller, I could not change title companies since it was selected by the buyer). From the obvious missteps along the way, which added unnecessary complexities and a delay in closing, they were 100% unapologetic. There was no communication in the end to assure me all papers were received and properly signed and notorized and the closing proceeded with a major delay in the transfer of funds to seller. Really, a complete nightmare. I am very thankful for my real estate agent who was wonderful during this process but also witnessed this nightmare first hand. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT use North Port Title.

North Port title staff are wonderful. Just finished my second home purchase. They make everything so easy to understand ..I highly recommend.

Very surprised to see such a bad review im currently selling houses and NP title have been nothing but 100% professional all of my closing have gone bang on time and all documents perfect.

I have bought and sold over 15 properties. Lisa our Title Agent was rude, flippant, had very poor communications, and was disorganized. We then talked with the owner of the company he was not interested in any negative feedback although he said he has heard this before. Run from this company.....

We are using North Port Title company for our second home purchase and plan to use them for future purchases as well. The staff is professional but also, this company still has that small hometown feel in making you feel like you are talking with friends. I highly recommend this Title company due to professionalism and courtesy towards customers and quick response time for transactions. Amy Turk-McGlade
