My experience was so amazing with my first purchase from Narana Johnson in August 2020 for my daughter, I went back 3 weeks later and bought another car for myself! Our overall experience with buying a car at Kia Port Charlotte was awesome! From the moment we stepped out of our car, Chris came up, introduced himself, and right away got us all the keys for the cars we wanted to see. He was very professional, truthful, great at answering questions, and just a nice person that made our car buying experience extra great! The building itself was very nice and clean, with beautiful chandeliers and comfortable chairs that made the 5 hours we were there not that bad. Awesome ! From entering to a calm relaxed no pressure environment, to a helpful salesman and financing the whole package was stress free and would recommend them time and time again. After dealing with multiple car dealers from Honda and Nissan in a weeks time then coming to Kia it was totally opposite of what I was expecting. Other dealers need to take notes from these guys! In a time where inflation is through the roof and a very poor economy, the last place I want to go to is a high pressure crazy environment. Kia of Charlotte was calm relaxing and made the process stress free.. Thanks guys keep up the great work 👍🏻

Our experience at Kia of Port Charlotte was probably one of the best car buying experiences we have had. We drove down from Orlando on July 4th to purchase a 2021 Kia Sorento EX Hybrid and upon arrival immediately met Tim. We had previously called about the vehicle and they knew that was the one we were there to see. Tim and his team kept the process smooth and moved as quick as possible so we could start the journey home. Even after a small price misunderstanding, we genuinely felt like they wanted to take care of us and get us the best options possible. Jordan in finance was also very helpful and worked to get us the best financing possible which we appreciated. We love our new car and are very happy with our experience! Thank you for taking great care of us! My only note is that the online prices are not accurate, which they really need to fix. I called the day before to confirm the online price only to be told when I arrived that was not accurate. Tim and his team did everything they could to make sure we were happy with the price but just know that the online prices are not reflective of the true selling price.

I regret ever buying a Kia from this dealership! This dealership does not take care or service their customers needs! Called multiple times to ask some questions and got a ring around. Then I showed up for my APPOINTMENT as which I got told that if it’s a drop off APPOINTMENT that others that walk-in and wait for their vehicle will be serviced FIRST! That made no sense to me as I had made this appointment in advance! I arrived to the dealership and inquired about the alignment of my vehicle that was off after I had just gotten one done 4 weeks prior but had ran over something so it needed to be realigned. I was told that I’d need to pay for another alignment. I will NEVER be back to this dealership as I’ve referred friends, family and business partners to this location that will no longer continue. I hope charging me the extra $120 dollars was worth losing a customer for life! Thank you Kia of Port Charlotte!!

Thank you Kia and & Devin for making buying a car easy. All I wanted was to get an affordable car and get out. Devin was a pleasant, trustworthy and efficient salesman. He offered water and coffee, showed me some cars, I picked one and Devin went to work with the finance guy. He came back shortly with an affordable payment plan and I signed the paperwork and left with my new car. The whole thing took few hours. First, I'm truly aware of the market situation but if we agree on an appointment and I'm driving 1 hour to come to you; the LEAST you can do is call and tell your potential customer both vehicles we came to see have already been sold. What was the purpose of me coming to an empty dealer? I even advised Megan I was arriving alittle earlier than our agreed time. That's not how you conduct business... At least have the customer service etiquette to advise of any situation that can change the plan of purchase.
Please accept our apology for any miscommunication regarding available vehicles on our lot. We have several deals working throughout the day and in this market it's not uncommon for new vehicles on the lot to be sold very quickly. In the future, it is best to call ahead and ensure your vehicle of interest is still available.

Again I was WOWed by my service experience. Rachel and Carlo greeted me first thing as soon as I pulled up to take my vehicle in for service. I was picked up and ran errands while it was being worked on and Rachel stayed in contact and updated regularly with the status until it was ready for pick up. Realistically, i experienced no wait times, very pleasant and professional staff and smooth all around. Thank you!

My experience at Kia of Port Charlotte was amazing! My vehicle was totaled and I needed a new car fast. Chris not only listened to me to find the perfect car for me but he kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. He even went above and beyond and picked me up and drove me to and from the dealership when I no longer had a rental car. Financing was very fast and simple. Best of all they are link with several credit unions in the area so I did not have to worry about shopping around for the best rates. When I brought my new car in for my FREE window tinting, he came in and hung out with me while I waited. The service department was also very friendly and the window tinting was completed in a timely manner. If you are in the market for a new or used car start your search at Kia Port Charlotte!

I was so worried about starting the car buying process, especially since I had a horrible experience with Kia of Cape Coral. So I drove an hour north and decided to give Kia of PC a try. I’m so glad I did! First, I don’t consider Kia of PC a car dealership - I would consider them a relationship builder. I have never been so impressed. First, the actual building is beautiful and immaculate. Second, every person I dealt with treated me like I was VIP, from sales (Lisette) to finance (Jerry). They don’t push, they don’t lie, they are honest and VERY fair for this market. Thank you Kia of PC for changing my opinion on car dealerships!

For two weeks now we’ve been in the market to trade in one of our vehicles for certain reasons. We had a deal going with Kia on a 2022 Sorento however, the one I was potentially going to get came in damaged. So then they were going to wait until another one came in but then all of a sudden there was no deal when one did come in. I just want to shout out to Frank, the salesman for trying every effort he could to get us into a car. His communication skills were top notch and you can tell he was so sincere. So I give him 5 stars and he deserves every raise, incentive, bonus possible. Now the finance team, they never communicated anything, no return calls back, always “unavailable” to talk to potential customers. Jordan was so rude to my husband and Adriana always refused to talk to anybody unless you had any type of deal on the table. Pathetic! So both of them deserve no stars. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, DONT give up! SOMEBODY will make a deal and at the end of the day, my husband was able to drive away with a 2022 Nissan Frontier. Unfortunately, I’m still in the market for a new vehicle and hope to earn my business one way or another(without Jordan or Adriana in the picture).

My first experience with KIA of Port Charlotte. I have purchased vehicles since 1955. ( Including 3 travel trailers) . My recent dealings with KIA of Port Charlotte have been, without doubt, the best experience I've ever had in purchasing a vehicle. They were receptive to my stopping in, professional in EVERY aspect of our transactions, ( not a bit "pushy ), very helpful in asking for MY needs, and answering ALL my questions.....(however some seeming unfair. ). Once home, the KIA was not only what they said it was, but far exceeded my anticipations. Can't ask for more. I feel we both left the transaction with the same attitude. For me, I felt we could have gotten a bit more for our trade-in. For KIA, they probably felt they could have received a bit more for the transaction. That's what I call...GOOD BUSINESS in the auto industry. ALL personal were professional and a credit to the poor reputation of car dealers. Frank S. was my primary contact. Kevin W., Pres. even displayed an interest as did multiple other employees. Hannah H who explained how to open the KIA door was so helpful and patient. In a nutshell, I came away with my new KIA Soul, one please, happy ( and yes, surprised) at my experience. To convince readers this is voluntary , sincere comments, I'm the real son of the President of KIA , in Korea. TO: KIA of Port Charlotte....Can't thank you enough for this experience. I called to make an appointment for an oil change. By mistake, I called Venice Kia. Once I realized that I had called the wrong Kia dealer, Venice Kia tried very hard to make an appointment for us, but I said no. I called Kia of Port Charlotte. The gal I talked to was happy to make the appointment for May 16, 8:00 AM. Then I was told that the scheduling system was down, but when it comes back up, if May 16th at 8:00 AM is already booked, I would be called to reschedule. I had not received a call, so my husband showed up at Kia of Port Charlotte on May 16th at 8:00 AM only to find out we had no appointment. This did not make either of us happy. I told my husband to leave and I'd call Venice, but your people insisted that you would fit our oil change in. My husband waited. It took 2 1/2 hrs. That's not the end of the story!!! Someone, I don't know who, found my son, Adam Anklam had an appointment scheduled at 9:30. My husband, Ken Anklam said he didn't think so and called Adam. Of course he didn't have an appointment!!! 🙄 😒 I think I'll let Venice Kia take care of our needs the next time.

Went into Kia to look at the Kia Soul and was helpfully directed into getting a Kia Forte since it would fit our transportation needs the best. I had an appointment for a simple oil change and that took 2 hrs. Even walking in the door I was never greeted, the "Ambassador" was dismissive when I inquired on the hold up, only stating you don't have enough help at your location. I only went back to get the change since I purchased the vehicle there and it was going to be free. After my experience I won't bother going back, I'd rather pay elsewhere

We had an amazing experience with PC KIA. My 2017 Kia soul's motor failed and from the moment I walked in the door at the dealership they treated me with kindness.. and helped me get into a brand new gorgeous 2021 Sorento SX. Austen was my sales guy.. and was absolutely wonderful through the entire experience. Rachel in service took great care of me making sure my extended warranty paid out for my motor failure with the Soul and the entire team kept us in the loop the entire time. Damian was great as well with helping with the financing and trading part. So happy with my whole experience here. Completely seamless. Mandatory KPC addon of $5895 above MSRP on EV6. Response was they are more reasonable then other dealers charging $10,000+ MSRP to make it seem they are giving you a deal. Some dealers are just charging MSRP and those are the ones customers should use.

Made appt 1 week in advance and on arrival I would be out in an hour or one and a half hours. At two hours I asked how the service was coming and was told it would go into the shop shortly. I asked for the return of my car and went over to Walmart and the job was done in 30 minutes.

Very impressed with Jade Abner who spoke to us as a person and not a number. There’s our 5 Star for her for sure!! We went to service our 2019 Kia Sorrento and knew sooner or later we wanted to trade in for a Telluride. We decided while waiting for our service to be done why not ask to speak a Product Specialist. Which we did, along came little Jade Abner, she knows her stuff boy let me tell ya. If she doesn’t know, she’ll find out really quickly for you. We were extremely satisfied with her professionalism, her knowledge of the vehicle we were interested in and the rest was as they say “a done deal”. Bought the car over the phone!! Quick and clear communication (text, phone, email, and in-person), no games, and easy process. Initial contact via text with Rhonda was friendly and helpful; negotiations over the phone with sales manager Gage was quick and painless; and product specialist John Warren was polite, professional, and very personable. It really was a great experience, which I cannot say is often the case when buying a car. We live in New Tampa and had no luck finding the 2021 Forte GT-Line with the premium package that we wanted anywhere nearby, so we searched statewide. After unpleasant experiences on the phone (voice and text) with dealers in Miami and West Palm Beach, we were lucky to find one at KPC. The team was so easy to deal with and they met all of our needs. And the facility--you gotta see the showroom!! It's really cool and far surpassed my expectations. I thought we were gonna see a rinky-dink, small-town car dealer. It was anything but that. They're doing things right there and treating people fairly, so I strongly recommend you give them a shot. Our experience at Kia of Port Charlotte was a great one. Our salesman Sam Gomez did a great job and we enjoyed working with him. My family and I got a used 2018 kia sedona, the price was reasonable, they met me In the middle for the trade and made the process easy. Even though the car wasn't ready to be shown they found a way, got it cleaned and sent us home without having us drive an hour back to pick up the car. I recommend checking them out.

The best car shopping experience I have ever had. Sebastian was our sales guy. He was very polite and friendly, easy to work with, knowledgeable, up-front and honest, and it was not a nightmare to negotiate on a fair price for a brand new car. NOT ONCE BUT TWICE! This Kia location is amazing and you MUST go see Anthony (sales rep). He is the real deal! I know sales guys get a bad rap with being too pushy and pressuring ppl to make a purchase BUT that was not my experience at all and I purchased two vehicles in the matter of 3 months. In May I purchased 2021 Telluride and last week I upgraded to a 2022 with a higher trim level. Anthony helped me both times and my experiences were the best. He was just very chill and matter fact about the car and the price...left it in my hands as the consumer if I wanted to move forward. My first time experience (picture of black car) was so smooth that I even told Anthony that I would return to this location to upgrade and I did (picture with white car). Plus..and this is a side note...the lobby music was good AND the restrooms were extremely clean!! This is important when you're waiting around for a few hours. If you are reading this and considering Port Charlotte...ask for Anthony specifically and tell them Angela sent you!!!

Buying a new car in the current 2022 market is difficult particularly for popular models. After scouring SW Florida for the vehicle we wanted we found what we were looking for at this dealer. Since we were several hours away we negotiated and purchased the vehicle remotely which was a surprisingly smooth transaction. The initial contact with Ian was wonderful and he was very responsive and helpful. Due to various personal issues we had to delay pickup a few days which inconvenienced the dealership staff but they remained helpful and positive throughout the interaction. Sam particularly went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our purchase despite delays on our end. While purchasing in this current market is definitely stacked against buyers and getting a great deal on a popular model is near impossible, we felt the price was fair and the staff pleasant to work with.

Tim was prompt, attentive and helpful in walking me through the process. The Telluride came in when it was promised, actually a few days early. Software update due to recall was handled pleasantly and professionally. Waiting room was comfortable and spacious. Two comments: 1. Since the volume on the tvs is quite low please put on cc so one can follow what's on the screen. 2. My experience was very different than all the other dealers I have been. I was greeted at the door by Todd with a smile and the most welcoming hospitality. I was introduced to Devin who took time to explain in detail the process of trading in my car. We found the perfect Jeep Compass. Then came Mr. Barnett to finalize my paper work, once again very pleasant. Not to mention Mr. Jamaica who did my appraisal (can’t remember his name, very tall gentleman) Did they all wake up on the right side of the bed or are they always this welcoming. All I can say is I went in a little skeptical because of what people say about car dealership but I left satisfied. Oh and be prepared, Todd and Devin seem to offer water and tea or coffee a lot. Although everyone was pleasant, the wait time was extremely long to deal with financing. After everything was already agreed on, cost and payment, we then had to wait hours before we could speak with anyone in financing. After all said and done, note we had already signed a paper regarding costs, so I did not re read what should have been the same on the financing paper since I had already signed an agreement, I logged onto the bank that the financing was through to see that my loan was for over $3,000 more than what I had agreed to. Looking back through all the paperwork, they snuck in those extra costs without mentioning anything and the original quote that I had signed was not included in the paperwork. So my loan amount went from $6,900 to over $10,000.
Hi Dana, Vehicle price is one aspect of the sale. There are added costs for taxes, registration, dealer fees, F&I products that you agreed to, etc that come with the deal. This may be what accounted for the discrepancy in your loan amount. These are typical for every dealership. If we failed to make this explicitly clear to you, please accept our apologies. Came in for an oil change, tire rotation and service inspection.Told me that I should replace my brakes, they were in the yellow at under 33,000 miles and a cost of $589. Declined and got a second opinion, do not need new brakes not even 1/2 worn. But, I did need new tires, they were rotting, splitting and worn. This was completely missed with the rotation. Got new tires elsewhere. I have always used Kia but will think twice in the future.

Car was priced at 13k + 2k warranty then when it came time to financed I put 3k down. The contract had read that it was 16k + 2k then subtracted the 3k. Making the financed amount 15k. It was 13 till I said I'm putting 3 down then it changed somewhere in the back. I suggest when your signing the paperwork you read all of it. Also they forged my signature on the warranty and misspelled my name how nice...

After about an hour, a gentleman, NOT my service rep, Jacob, showed me the air filter from my car and said it should be changed for a charge of $35 and an wheel alignment for $130. I said I would call my husband to see if he agreed with these. The air filter did not in any way look that dirty. My husband said no to both services. When I went back to tell the service rep not to change the filter, he said they already put in the air filter…….wasn’t too happy with that. Other than that situation, the service dept at Kia is always professional and very courteous.

The worst service experience I’ve ever had. Waited a week for the appointment, for them to call an hour later and say they needed to order the part. Then waited a week for the part. Once they were able to fix it, it took longer than they said which I get. But to top it all off our 7 year old left the iPad in the car. Our fault for not double checking I know. But they completely shattered our ipad that we we use for school and work. When they called they said it was cracked, more like unusable since the pieces are falling out. And they don’t consider themselves liable to fix it. Needless to say we will get our future cars and service elsewhere. Very disappointed.
Hello Isabella. We understand the issue with the iPad is unfortunate. However, the iPad was wedged in between the seat and console, not visible to anyone handling the vehicle. The repair that was needed required the front seats to be reclined. When they were reclined the technician heard a sound and immediately discovered the issue, notified our Service Manager and that was disclosed as soon as it was discovered. In regards to the part needed for your initial repair, this was determined during diagnosis and luckily we were able to get it expedited from Kia, so it arrived as quickly as it possibly could. While we understand that you are frustrated, we did the best we could within the circumstances to do right by you in every way. We appreciate your feedback and of course would appreciate the opportunity to earn your business again. Thank you.

I was satisfied with the work on my car. I had a 9:30 appt and was taken in right on time. However I thought 11:00 was longer than I expected and barely made it to an appt I had after the tune up. If it takes that long for a tune up I will make sure any appt after the tune up is a little later. Does it really take one and a half hours for a tune up with out issues with the car

Came to agreement via telephone regarding purchase price for new car. Drove almost hour to dealership to finalize and manager tried to add $6000 of other previously undisclosed fees. Look over your contract very well if you buy from this dealership.

Service department is an absolute joke. Brought our K5 in back in January for a service and an issue with the drivers door. They determined the control module inthe door was going bad and were supposed to order a new one. After 5 months with no contact from them we stopped in only to find out the service tech we had dealt with no longer worked there and no one had any idea about the part. My wife brought the car back in two days later at the request of the assistant service manager. No one knew to expect her, or why she was there. When she expalined the issues to the tech, I am assuming he was not listening because he investigated a completely different issue then we were having. Then attempted to "mansplain" to my wife why the locks were not working properly, only to have them fail during his "mansplanation" to which he simply said, you have to press the button harder. Still don't have the issue fixed and just get the run around fro all the folks there.

I just purchased a used Nissan Kicks. I was very impressed with my salesperson, Alex. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had some questions not directly related to the sale, and he got the information for me. The only negative part of my experience was the amount of time it took to complete. So, this was my first time a buying new to me car as an adult. Go me! My dad had a Soul, and my grandmother has a Rio, so I've good things about KIA. My grandmother got hers at this location, so it made sense for us to go there first. Hubs and I both actually needed new cars. Bill Shallow was our salesman, and was just great. Yeah, it took forever because of two separate loans, but that couldn't be helped. Overall, we're very pleased with what we got and our experience.

We purchased a 2022 SX Prestige Sorrento from Kia of Port Charlotte on Saturday, January 8, 2022. It was a great experience working with Alex from start to finish. We purchased it about a month ago since they only had two in the Sapphire Blue arriving from Georgia plant mid January. The trade-in we received made it possible to purchase this car. Alex was in communication with us weekly and updated us as soon as he received updates from Georgia. They spelled out all the costs and showed us what the final price would be in December. The SX came in early which we never expected! When we went to finalize and sign all the papers, there were no surprises and there was no "hidden upcharges" for any reason. The Finance Manager, Jordon Day, was as outstanding as Alex. In addition, it is the nicest dealership, bar none, that we have ever experienced. NO Pressure at all !! If you are in the market to buy new car, SUV, truck, etc., I urge you to compare Kia of Port Charlotte to other dealers . Give them an opportunity to make your choices easier. Wow my experience is the service department went totally downhill! When I purchased my car in 2017 and brought it in for regular maintenance Tim was my service Technician. He was superb! I currently have an issue with the car which is still under warranty. I brought it in sat for over 3 hours no communication from Jacob at all unless I went to the desk and asked, which were unmanned by the way. I stood in front of his desk watch a guy behind a desk in the office eating his lunch while everyone else was in there talking to him. Finally 15 minutes later got Jacob to come out he went back to the service department finally came back with no results. Now we are approaching the 4 hour mark no results no diagnosis nothing. I had to be to work that night I had to go. I live 50 minutes away. They said they would call me within a couple of days, 8 days later no call. I called them cut off first call, second call on hold for 11 minute I hung up! I called another Kia dealer got immediate response no hold going in tomorrow morning and they will give me a car if necessary. Never again! Good bye Kia of Port Charlotte. Too bad it went downhill so quickly. They lost me as a customer.

We just got a ‘22 Telluride from Kia of Port Charlotte and couldn’t be happier! The SUV is nice but the experience at the dealer made it special. From the time you walk in, you are made to feel welcomed like family. The staff are all super accommodating and welcoming. Our salesman, Ted was thorough, knowledgeable, super nice, and easy going. My wife and I came to buy a car from here. Our salesman was Alex Lawhorn and he was excellent. Kept us updated throughout the process and was very polite. I had come in the night before to ask about the price and if they had one in the color my wife wanted. They didn’t have the color and the sales manager was very pushy. Ended up leaving and after talking with Alex we both came back. Had a different sales manager the next morning and had a much better experience. The rest of the process went smooth. Would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for that one manager.
