North Coast Credit Union Dupont St, Bellingham

Very long phone wait times up to 45 min . People are friendly . but I pay for this service I don't rate them as bad as Verizon but coming close on phone wait time Nccu should hire more help . just saying and this is not a new covid issue either . Extremely impressed with their mortgage lending/financing services! They got us a pre-approval letter within 24 hours of applying. Incredible! From there, we successfully made a reasonable offer on a house within the seller's time frame. Although the seller ended up taking a cash offer from another buyer (such is the RE market these days), we are definitely sticking with NCCU for our future financing needs. They are friendly, knowledgeable, professional and responsive. :-)

I opened an account for an auto loan because their rates were the best at the time. I was charged multiple times for not providing proof of insurance without notice. Whenever I have tried to call them I am on hold for up to an hour. The last time I called a manager told the person who picked up to hang up and go back to what they were doing. I am closing my account here.

Each time I call, wait times are long. Not impressed with the changes we of the former Tesoro Credit Union are now having to put up with. Progress? Not so much...

I used to think they were the best, until the privilege pay scam, A fee for not overdrafting, but for having a pre-auth at the gas pump for larger than my balance is bogus.

Have had a horrible experience with this credit union, went through a 20 day process of giving them my routing and account number and they kept saying it was invalid so it wouldn’t work, when i pulled cash and went to a branch to make my payment i successfully made it but the next day that same amount came out of my checking account. Of course they aren’t open on Saturdays, loan officers need another training on customer service and how not to be rude to callers. Would not recommend using this credit union, had to call wecu to ask questions for them to tell me what they are doing is wrong. Had good hopes for this bank but I will be refinancing with wecu asap

Been a customer for years, the staff are amazing my main concern is with the wait times when you contact the call center, up to 30 minutes waiting on hold that is unaceptable. The other issue is not being open on satudays almost every other babk in existence is open on saturday, if these problems were to be addressed, 5 stars all around

I absolutely love North Coast Credit Union. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and courteous. The only drawback of banking here is they are not open on the weekends--not even part time on Saturday like other local credit unions. However, I do highly recommend becoming a member if you're looking for a great financial institution to bank with.

I have been with north coast credit union since 1986.. From day "1" always friendly and very helpful.. Jill at N.W. ave branch is awesome
