    Impeccable service! As someone who’s had several bad experiences with dealerships- I was very cautious, but they treated me so well throughout the entire process. Claire, my salesperson, was amazing. The most professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring person I have ever worked with in the buying process. You can tell that they genuinely care about what car is best for you, and how well it’s going to fare in the long run. She got us a killer deal, as well as a beyond amazing deal and rate. Was more like dealing with a friend than a salesperson! After buying my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, I came back the next day to sign a couple things and she was so excited for me! Made me feel amazing and excited about my purchase. She deserves some recognition! :) The finance team was great too. He made sure to read everything I was signing, graciously answered all my questions, and made my feel very confident about my purchase. I love my car, and I loved the whole experience. I was so happy that everyone involved changed the way I think about car buying. Will definitely come back!

    Super shady experience with Nissan of San Juan Capistrano. I won’t put their names but we dealt with 3 people — a sales guy, an appraiser, and a manager. We had a car we were considering selling and we put the VIN into multiple car sites just to see what price we would be offered. The sales guy from Nissan of San Juan Capistrano reached out and asked what price we wanted. I told him and he said “The notes look good on your car. I think we would want it. Why don’t you bring it by and see what the appraisers say?”. I never responded but he was persistent and kept coming at me via text to get me to come in. I said this “I’m just afraid if I come in and spend time to have it appraised the guys are just gonna low ball me anyway once I’m there. I’m good for it if $24,500 is realistic for you guys but I’m not too interested if you’re just gonna tell me $18K when I’m there. It’d be a waste of my time…” to which he responded “We won’t low ball you.”. Of course, we we had wasted about 30 minutes of our day with the appraiser and him going back and forth with the manager. We wanted to speak to the sales guy but the appraiser said his job was solely to get us to the lot and that he has no decision-making power when it comes to price. Overall, it just seemed like an unethical way of doing business — getting us to come in when we had voiced our hesitancy to waste our time if we would be low-balled and being told via text that we would not be low-balled. We will not be doing business with Nissan of San Juan Capistrano ever again and hope this review will help you make a sound judgement if you are considering buying or selling a car through this dealership. We had an unfortunately negative experience overall.

    John dropped off the car and helped us sign all the documents expeditiously. He went through the car’s most important features and demonstrated how to use the charger. He also set up an account and synced our phone to the car. Very professional and seamless buying experience.

    The sales associate spoke only to my husband. Even when i asked him a question. We came into the dealer with a pre approval and we were pressured into have our credit run in the dealership’s system. With that said, I am a licensed financial advisor and planner. I know exactly how pre approvals work and how they are processed. On paper, everything was legal. Ethically, this is a different story. I needed the car and arguing was becoming tiresome. I cannot sue the dealership because the paperwork was done properly. We were not given all the discourses and vital information were breezed through. [update] The Loyalty Manager reached out to me soon after this was posted. She has not returned any of my calls over the past six weeks. I learned today that she had some health issues (wishing her a speedy recovery). The managers and associates informed me that she has received my messages and will call me back which clearly has not been possible being she is out of the office recovering. This experience shows why people who sell cars have a bad reputation. Tyler is the name of the sales rep that sold me the car. I learned many of the "add ons" are actually factory standard for the the model car that I purchased. Avoid him.

    Watch out for all the Add ons they stick you with that already are factory on the cars. Purchased a used Genesis from them. They charged me for a theft service that I didn't want, then I found out it's already standard with Genesis Connect Service. They would not credit... it was like buying a car and then getting charged for tires that were already on the car.

We just went in, did a test drive, and filled out the necessary paperwork. Quick and painless, as opposed to languishing at a dealership for hours dealing with price and other things.     If you're looking for a dealership to buy a Nissan, Nissan of San Juan Capistrano is definitely the way to go. This dealer is large enough to have what you need but small enough to be personable. I tried several other dealers, (Irvine & LA) and they're just too big. Takes the fun out of buying a car. Also, Marco was nice and extremely helpful. Appreciate this dealership alot!

    Wow - sales above and beyond the call of duty. John Hartnett took special care to make sure I understood all the features of the new car - this was super helpful. The best part is he really went the extra mile to make sure the garage door opener feature of the Nissan worked properly. He spent several hours getting it to work. Small feature, but it shows his dedication and attention to detail. He has set the standard by which I will measure any other car dealership by.

    It's sad that dealerships advertise a price online and don't honor it. I'm aware that this is common on new cars these days but this dealership does it on used trucks also. Helping my nephew buy a Tacoma they have for sale for $35,181 which is a good deal. Called in and spoke to Brian the Sales Manager and he said someone would call me back in 45 minutes or so. Why it takes that long... who knows? I call back 2 hours later and speak to a salesman. Per Brian they add on $3200 in stupid addons that are worth about $300 tops. Let him know we're serious and ready to buy today. Brian was nice enough to take $280 off the price. Buyer beware of false advertising and know they discount online prices then add them back on through manipulation.

    Angel Pena was my service advisor and he is amazing. He never pushed for unnecessary repairs for our 2020 Rogue and another car we have.     Sleller be warned, sell your pre-owned vehicles at this location my cost you money and more importantly precious time that ech one of us have very limited of that. If you put your vehicles info online to sell your vehicle, most likely through only handful of the website, which all dealerships are member of and placing a bet on your vehicle. It is sort of online auction if you would. Now, some of the dealers like this place get the info and text you or send you an email or do both to get you to go to them without giving you an offer through the online website. Even if you already have an offer and you tell them that you have one , they would try to tell you that they would offer you better price. But when you go there they tell you "the X dellarship over priced your car and they try to offer you less price. And if you say no they are trying to offer you very small money over the offer you have, whic is insulting. Make sure you do not give them your driver license or your registration, or your keys, you'll have a hard time getting it back. Eventhoug they should give them all to you at the same time and at one time as you ask for them. They Should Not hold them hostage and give them back to you one at the time. BE VERY VERY CAREFUL, you are dealing with people who are defining the words "USED CAR SALESMAN".

    I had do go to Nissan of SJC for my 2017 Nissan Rogue Intelligent Key was no longer working! I parked in their drive path and was courteously told, by a very nice employee, named Q, I couldn’t park there. He promptly showed me where to park. I told him I was physically challenged and he even volunteered to park my car for me in the designated parking spot. He then proceeded to help me to the parts department and told the gentleman at the desk what I needed! He made my trip to Nissan SJC very easy, relaxing and even enjoyable. It’s so nice to be so professionally treated. Q is a Wonderful Employee of Nissan of SJC!!! Thank you Q!!

    What a positive experience we had when my sister and I bought the car of her dreams, the Nissan Kicks SV, black top/blue body. Since we live in Riverside we made initial contact with Ashton through email and made the deal on the phone. Ashton delivered the beautiful car today!! We did not even have to step into the dealership. The whole car-buying process was so pain-free. Aston and his manager, Luis, were honest and respectful. We got a good deal. We know this as we dealt with many other dealers to find this particular car. They are straightforward and do not try to hide charges like in other places. Ashton delivered the car to Riverside and signing of the papers at home was efficient. It is such a pleasure to have a positive car-buying experience that we must spread the word when we are satisfied with a dealership and their employees. Thank you Ashton and Luis!

    After visiting many dealerships, high end and otherwise, Kenedi and Nissan San Juan stood out among the rest. Kenedi was very good to us, and straightforward. The difference at Nissan was that Kenedi and the other salespeople seemed to actually know about the cars. He showed us all the features and how to use them. He knew all the specs from memory. It sounds strange, but many of the other dealerships we visited, the salespeople knew nothing about the car like whether it had adaptive cruise control, range, etc. I would recommend Kenedi at Nissan to friends and family.

Robin the sales girl listens to me she did not pressure me into purchasing a car I did not want she listened to what I wanted and found a 2 cars in my price range that would work good for me. Marcos the sales manager he went up and beyond to help me get financed. He listened and worked with me being I have no credit and just starting to reestablish my credit. Alex the financial guy got me the lowest interest possible with the hardest of circumstances. They have been nothing but helpful since getting my car. To be honest, I did not have much faith in the promises of the sellers, I always went and unfortunately most of the time I came back because of the situation without making a deal! But, this time I am very happy that I drove 52 miles from San Diego and came here to change my car.     Recently leased a Nissan Leaf from Nissan of San Juan Capistrano after having a bad experience at a different dealership. I spoke with David over the phone and told him what I was looking for and how much I was willing to pay. He was able to get me the best price possible! When I showed up to the dealership David was with another customer but he quickly assigned Ashton to help me out. Ashton was amazing and answered all my questions.     Beware beware beware when you sign your car contract with them: They charged us (my mother and I) $995.00 for GAP insurance, they also told us that our credit union wouldn't go over 60 month payments on our new car. (That was a lie). We refinanced right away with our credit union, they charge $299. For GAP. I'm not sure what the average cost is for GAP but to charge that much more is a rip off to me. Now let's add more proof of WHY YOU DON'T WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF AT NISSAN. DAMIEN their finance manager and Jonathan (their former sales manager) were in it together and illegally changed our contact. I actually have both contracts to prove the fraud. They are crooks and should be audited.

    I have brought my Rogue to San Juan Capistrano Nissan for all my service. My last visit was for oil and oil filter change. When I pulled up, Angel met me at my car and immediately started the check in process! After checking the mileage, Angel expedited the paper work and I only waited about 30 minutes! Angel is very courteous and professional! He made sure I was kept informed by visiting me in the waiting area. Thank you Angel and thank you Nissan for taking good care of me and my cars over the past 9 years!

    *WARNING* I know this company wont suffer without me buying a car there ever again but If you want to be lied to while getting looked straight in the eyes, then shop here for your vehicle. My credit was ran more times than I was promised and I made a big deal about NOT dinging my credit with a whole bunch of inquiries before they did it but they did it anyways. Apparently, what the customer cares about is NOT a concern at this dealership. If I could give zero stars for lying to my face, I would !! So sick of big companies NOT caring anymore. Its a damn shame really.

    John Harneth did a fantastic job. The transaction was quick and easy, and he answered all of my questions. I have already recommended him to a friend. My Leaf SV is fantastic. Cheap to pay for, but doesn't feel like a cheap car. Goes really well for a base model and has a bunch of features that work really intuitively.

    The whole team was very friendly and nice to be around. My little Minnie dachshund came with me to the dealership and they all loved her. The young salesman who showed me the car was very friendly and patient with me. I believe his name was Tyler. It was a relaxed experience for me.
