Dear Gems and Loans: Today, my husband and I went to your Capo Beach location and were immediately greeted by your wonderful staff. Not knowing what to expect, we quickly felt at ease with their kind demeanor. 💯 We were in the splendid care of Mrs. Deborah and manager Mr. Richard. Their approach was warm, friendly, genuine while they were highly knowledgeable. I felt like the commercial “we were in good hands.” I would highly recommend Gem and Loans at this particular location. Times are hard for almost everyone. I want to take time to write another review because this establishment is special. What make it so great are the people who work there. I have to say I have called many times and people are always friendly and polite and always answer the phone. John is wonderful. I trust him and he has gotten me out of some tight spots by giving me generous monies for my items. He is a kind person who also has a great sense of humor and cares. Thank you so much! Erin Gates

This was my second time in this store and this time I had the privilege of being helped by Deborah. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and helped me pick out the perfect ring to propose with! Thank you so much Deborah and Gems and Loans! Dot-dot-dot and I also can't forget to mention Joe! They are super cool. I purchased some headphones which were working when I bought them. I went to use them for the first time, and for whatever reason they would not work. I took them back to Gems and Loans and they refunded me my money no problem. They are super nice and understanding, unlike most pawn shops!

Deborah was and has been an absolute professional! She was extremely helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with! This woman should get a raise and employee of the month!

Came in to replace my Husband's wedding ring that he unfortunately lost at Doho beach...Christine & another associate greeted us with a big smile as we walked in...Christine helped us & was extremely helpful & very friendly. ..My Husband didn't see anything that he was looking for even tho the store had some nice things...Christine notice my wedding ring was very dirty & offered to clean it free of charge & also gave me a jewelry cleaning kit at no charge!! This is my very 1st review that I have ever written in my life so for me to write this review I was impressed by Christine...Thank you Christine for your exceptional service we will be back again...........And Christine mentioned her Birthday is Sunday ..Have a very Happy Birthday Christine & Thank you again !! Oh...this place is a joke. I brought my Omega watch there. They offered me 40$. It's all do to women apparently not buying watches anymore :) They also lied to me that current price for this item online is 500$, so I sold my watch ONLINE for 1800$ today, so yeah...make sure you roughly know the price of your items or take your business somewhere else. (My not 5 star review just got deleted, that's OK, I'll post it again)

I was helped by DV, a Grace Kelly clone who was charming, sophisticated, elegant and helped me to find the perfect gift for my granddaughter. It was a pleasure to feel comfortable relying on her guidance.
