I supposedly paid off a “loan” last week and was told I would receive 2 confirmation emails confirming loan was paid off and that they wouldn’t contact me anymore… not complaining about the latter but am in fact complaining about the lack of communication from these guys. Don’t appreciate being told something and it hasn’t happened yet and it’s been over a week.

I called due to something on my credit report which I paid and then she says she can't send me a letter saying it's off my credit report and that it was sent back to the lender and I said I paid for this already and she says well you must have not becausee it was here and they don't have it and they haven't had it since March and they just called me April and said that they had this collection and I know I paid it it came right out of my checking and plus she couldn't send me something saying its paid and off my account and that very shady

Terrible garbage company that keeps calling saying I have "credit card debt" when I don't even have a credit card yet! I'm a teenager you weirdo's! 🥴💀

They are harassing my 70+ year old cancer patient father for a debt that was paid off over 8 years ago, it was over a grill bought at sears for a couple hundred dollars, they are attempting to tell him he owes millions. This collections agency is taking part in a scam using this same account along with several other collections agencies to harass my father over the same exact purchace. The BBB and FBI fraud investigators refuse to go after them because they are only targeting people in the middle class and in poverty in america, where as we all know, the law doesn't exist for the rich and will penalize the poor for simply trying to live out what few days they have left with their families. It took a lot of digging but we found the evidence of the finished payments that he though he threw away for not needing them but thankfully he is a bit of a hoarder, one of the collections agencies backed off but the rest keep up the harrasment, they wont take him to court because of our evidence but they think by continuous harasment of him and his children, and as of yesterday emails to his grand children, they can force him into doing what they want. They are nothing more than criminals in white collard suits.

I own a restoration company in Florida and have been in business over 15 years. Normally I don't have issues with customers paying. However, there was this one and I had to file a lien. Ryan called me and offered his services. He not only was able to get the customer that was avoiding me on the phone, he was able to compel him to pay within 4 days. To say I'm impressed would be an understatement. I think I've just found my new collection agency!

In January I retained Nelson Cruz & Associates to represent me in regards to a collection claim I had against a property owner. From start to finish, they have kept me up to date on the progress of my claim and they have worked very hard to reach a settlement on my behalf. IMO Shady business practices... Calls and lies about a job fair in order to harass people they suspect have debt and coerce information from helpless people affected by COVID... BBB and the trade commission are going to love to hear more...

The associate quickly hung up on me before I could even respond . Nor did I get his name to began with . Just rude guy overall. He claim I owe a debt that’s not even on my credit report from 2018 an demand I pay them in a wk. This company has to to be a Joke or scam

They call and leave messages and don’t identify they’re trying to collect a debt. Caller ID Reads “ADT”.

Before I start, go read this company’s BBB accreditation. They WARN YOU. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I dealt with Ryan Reagan and Chris White, both are no longer with the firm. As expected, they left the firm for who knows what. Scamming of course. Meanwhile, I got an email from a managing member of the firm and he told us to go blow off. Totally threaten me. We had a signed contract for certain fees and they totally breached the contract. Charging us $15k more in fees. A TOTAL SCAM OF A COMPANY! They have no idea what’s coming after them legally. See you guys in court, you scammers!

Nelson Cruz & Associates has been wonderful from start to finish. As a client, I have no complaints. They keep you updated on the status of accounts you've placed with them and make sure you understand the entire collections process. When it came time to present a settlement offer from my customer, they did in-depth financial research on the company and thoroughly investigated all claims and obtained my approval prior to accepting my customers offer. Out of the 3 accounts I referred to them, they were able to collect on 2, and that was within the first month.

Scam artist. I called trying to get information about a so called debt. They were rude. Called several times. Talked to a Tacky woman who Proceeded to try to call me a lie, I’m which she was very wrong. Glad I recorded the phone call because I felt like they were fraudulent so it can be used in court. Do not give these people any information. Uneducated scammers!
