Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

March 31 2022 No staff working. Only one new hire at teller office (who is doing a good job and very nice). All the while I see a woman walking around with her coffee greeting people like a little poster model. I asked her to assist because there are 5 people in line she said they are doing the best they can. They have a handful of bankers which isn't sufficient so everything is on appointment basis. They don't take cash deposits into a person's bank account. Only money orders which are $14 so go across the street to Walmart for a $1 money order. There were 2 people other than myself outwardly complaining. One man said at lunch time their lines are out the door. A woman said she has been waiting 2 weeks to set up wires so she came in only to be told she should have made an appointment. Bank makes money on our money but i am assuming that they are using covid (2 years post) as an excuse to cut staff and make more profit.

Only one teller Manager doesn't want to help If you are in line no one will ask you about what you need and after waiting for your turn They gonna tell you oh our printer for the cashiers check doesn't work

I’ve called to take with agen the whole day ,no one answer that’s a shame I felt like I’ve been calling the worst apartment lease office …truly I called like maybe 27 times !

Long lines, only 1 teller working, very little bankers at desk of, office looks like a ghost town of course because it's in the poor side of town

Not excited to have come here and waited for 30 minutes to get in the door only to learn from someone driving around that there was a sign in the DT window stating “temporarily closed” but no notice on the front door for foot traffic. Edit to add: Phil, I appreciate the response. I understand things are weird in the world right now. However, the website you mentioned noted that the location’s hours were amended, but did not fully represent the temporary closing. And there was no notification on the front door. Had someone not driven around the building to let me and the 8 others waiting in line of the temporary closing, we would have wasted even more of our time. I even called BofA’s customer service line and was told the location should be open.

Terrible customer service.. came in on a Monday to get a cashier check .. one teller and the line is at least 10 deep .. one guy at the front "greeting " and the manager taking appointments.. we get to the teller after 30 min and tell me that they're cashier check machine was out of service ..

Would appreciate if someone would update the hours even when the tellers are down. Have been going here for years and the last two years have been a BIG inconvenience for me. This happens multiple times I already tried switching branches to give them a try but it seems to be a problem over all.

Worst bank I've ever been to no customer service at all you can spend at least 1 hour for a simple transaction. The tellers have no personality to even try to make you feel comfortable about the long wait if I could give it a ZERO I would. The bank manager doesn't do her job web she gives excuses when approached about the situation go to the Preston location they are five STAR

In line waiting to handle my transaction and continue my busy day. There is one teller, 2 personal bankers and a greeter. The line is barely moving, the teller is very sweet, but can't take on an entire line of aggravated customers on her own. I'm shocked that there aren't 2 tellers for a Monday. When I go to branches in better areas, there are 2 tellers and no one in line. Is this a trend or just poor planning? I'll drive out of my way for a better experience. Such a shame. I hope they work on this, because 16 people in line waiting, does not look good at all.

I visited this location and received the most outstanding customer service out of any Bank of America. Special shoutout to Daniel and Meagan. These bankers really care about their customers and saw and treated me with humanity and compassion. My patronage here became more than just business that day, and I highly recommend their services.

I made 3 time appointment in this place to create an account anyway the third time came to appointment at 10:45 am ,the person who has to help us she wasn’t doing anything at 11 she took other people instead of us we are just keep waiting ,the worse management.

The bank employees told me they couldn’t help me to close an account and told me i needed to call the 800 number… so why do they even have employees??? This is so frustrating
C
Walked in to get help with a wire. I was told that the next available appt would be Wed. I needed to wire today on Friday. The two people in there were throwing paper at each other. I didn't see any customers.. Yet they said they couldn't help.... They gave me instruction sheet to use on how to do it from my computer. Went home. Didn't work. Called customer service on hold for 30 min just to tell me I had to do it at a branch location.... Ended up going to the title company to delver across town to feluver my check. What happened to customer service. People are so rude.
N
A little slow on the customer services. The employees seem to lack motivation to get the job done but never had an issue with them completing the task I have asked of them.

NOOOO, terrible!!!! Daniel "Branch Manager" (I think, short bald guy with a black beard) the branch manager decided to call the cops on me bc I wanted to open a checking/savings account and didn't have an appointment today, Saturday 2/20/21. I've waited a month to open an account. I was with Chase for years but had fraud on my account in January 7th'ish' 2021. I always have a credit freeze on my account so I took that off in January. Followed the prompts online for an account, they said it would take 2 weeks bc of a backlog, then BOA couldn't verify my information. Tried again online and still denied. Call a rep over the phone on Thursday 2/11/2021 and they said I had to go in inside to verify my identity first. Then Texas got hit with snow for a week, finally made it to the bank after a week of it being closed. I tried to make an appointment online for days, nothing was available. Weather cleared up today 2/20/2021, got there at 11am, waited outside for a few mins bc of Covid, made it inside and was told there would be a wait, I said fine, guy told me to have a seat. Sat down, branch manager came over to me and said if I didn't have an appointment he couldn't help me, I told him I've been without a bank for a month and had to open a bank account, I already had an old account. He keep asking me to go to his office, I said no and I will wait where I was sitting. I gave him "the hand" bc he wouldn't shut up and he was closer than 6ft...., no I'm not going to your office, I'm waiting (bank doesn't close for 2 hours)..... He then said if I didn't leave he would call the police. I then called BOA customer service to get everything documented, spoke to Vincent the Deleware in their fraud department. Super nice guy and I explained everything even to the point of tears bc I was so frustrated. BOA already had my information, they just needed to verify my identity, nothing else. Then the Dallas pd said it was time to leave, so I left. But I got it all documented with BOA. Do not go here, I've never in my life had the cops called on me. I don't even live in Dallas, I was staying with a relative to get thru the weather. I live in Plano. Never again. Go to another bank, not BOA!!!!

The employees are very rude and unprofessional so it's a waste of time to come to this location
V
I’ve been to this location twice because it’s the closest from my job and both times I’ve been told I’ll have to wait because their system is down or to go to another location. I came for a Cashiers today and I was told their machine isn’t working so I’ll need to go to another location.
D
the place looks nice but it was busy and they charge me $8 cash check
K
Amazing branch! Management and staff are always willing to help. Much better service than surrounding branches. I make it a point to go out of my way to use this location because the service is so much better!
