Mortgage department is trash. Loan officer does not communicate AT ALL. Manager of mortgage department does not respond or communicate either. The entire process was horrible. Missed our closing date 3 times and we switched lenders and got approved and processed in under a month. NFCU MORTGAGE DEPARTMENT SUCKS.

Always a pleasant experience with courteous and expedient service. I've been a member since 1985 and I have always appreciated being a member.

I’m leaving this rating because this company was very happy to take my money and charge me for a credit check. I was trying to get a home mortgage I wanted 3 different companies to choose from. I was told someone would contact me within two days and heard nothing. I called up and was on hold for over 20 minutes to be told that I would be contacted within 7 days. This is horrible why take my money and not provide a service. If you need a home mortgage there are much better companies with better customer service. Do not waste your time.

I’ve been a member for several decades and have banked at the NFCU in Charleston, SC; Sugar Land, TX; and Merrifield, VA. All 3 branches that I’ve used over the years have been excellent. Though I’ve also used other banks for convenience of location, there is no other financial institution I’d rather use than NFCU based on my experiences, and that includes USAA Federal Savings Bank.

I wish the employees were wearing name tags so I could leave a better review. Everyone was extremely helpful and we got everything we needed done and more. We will definitely be back!! This is the best experience I have ever had at any bank

The atm is open 24 hours. There are 2. The bank hours vary but I know they have Saturday hours. The mobile app is great.

I do a lot of my banking after hours at the ATM. Last couple of times I went to this location to deposit money the ATMs couldn’t take a deposit. I don’t live close to this branch so it can be a bit frustrating to waste a trip when the ATMs aren’t working as expected.

Navy Federal Credit Union on Sam Rittenburg Boulevard in West Ashley is a bank that provides excellent customer service and helps you achieve all of your banking and financial goals. I have been impressed with the quality of service here and the knowledgeable staff in all that they do. This is a good place to bank.

I had a check that I deposited into my account a couple days before Christmas and found out it’ll be 2 business days before the funds were available!!! Well, I went inside and Kelly and Jamie were able to help me get my funds!!! Thanks guys #MyBankIsBetterThanYours
