Navy Federal Credit Union Starmount Pkwy, Chesapeake

I was there on May 26th and the first guy I met (Tyler) helped me with submit my check through the app! He was so friendly and had the sweetest country accent! 11/10 customer service!

Went through the driveway to deposit money. Sent it up with my bank card. Teller came onto the camera and said the usually, asked how much I was depositing and I told her. She came back and verified the amount. Said she’s going to send it through the money machine and send my info down. Not even a minute later I had my bank card back and my deposit slip. I didn’t check it because I never had this problem before. About 40 mins later I check my bank account and it’s $100 short. I’m very good with money, I handle it for a living. So I drive up there and the lady is immediately offensive. “I told you it was $415” which she never did. IF she did count a different amount, she should of came back onto the camera and notified me, which they usually do. I feel like that should be protocol. I end up speaking to the assistant manager and she wasn’t much help either. She said they watched the video about 3 times. Said “there was two $50’s”, which there wasn’t. There was only one. Then said I could watch the video, then came back and said I couldn’t. She then followed up with saying the teller verified with me that it was $415, which she did not. I cannot afford to eat $100 and I don’t know how anyone could honestly. They were very rude and didn’t seem like they cared. I called the customer support number and they said they have to send it off for review. I will never come here again!! I don’t know why people just can’t own up to their mistakes! Considering I’ve been with them for about 6/7 years now, you would think they would show their long time partners more respect.

Me and my husband got a pre approval for a home loan. We were told about realtor plus which is realtors who work for Navy Federal that we could use. They were supposed to get in contact with us in a few days. That was a month ago. We've tried contacting them with no response. We've also tried contacting Navy Federal with no response. So we got our own realtor and will not be using Navy Federal for our home loan.

This is the best Navy federal around. They are very nice. They are very fast. They are helpful. They have many options for credit cards. This is the only location for me!

Also friendly and have speedy service!! I love coming to this branch!
