Navy Federal Credit Union Grandview Dr, Summerville

This is the most disrespectful and disheveled branch I have ever been to. I spoke with Tina, Sherry, and another female I was unable to get a name from that were all very dismissive or plain out rude! I had an issue with my debit card and had to get a new one. The call center told me to go to my local branch, walk up to the counter, and I'd have one printed right away. So I come in on my lunch break. There's a 45 minute wait for a service representative. I repeat what the call center tells me. I am then told that normally yes, but that's not how it works at *this* location. Since that comment, I have asked 2 people to speak with the branch manager to no avail. I will be moving my accounts from this bank soon. I am so glad I opened my company account with a different bank. I couldn't imagine having these hassles with a business account. It's absolutely astonishing how they treat people in this location. In the future I will be driving the extra distance to North Charleston or Goose Creek instead of staying in my hometown. Oh, and please take a look at the nearly empty customer service desk.

Service is fine, but weekend wait times are easily an hour for anything. Drive thru is generally backed up to the highway. When the only opportunity you have to go to the bank is on the weekend you can't choose a less popular time. Part of the issue is their closing the lobby for months.

This Navy Federal is definitely WAY better than the one on Rivers. Rivers has the worst employees and such long wait times just to deposit a check. This one is definitely much better.

Don't do business with these people, they will clear a check that is no good (that you got from someone who your trying to help bc they lost their i.d.) but will clear it making it good for you to withdrawal without informing you that the check wasn't good then when you go file a report(because the bank told you to do so and that they get this type of situation all the time)with the cops because you found out you were scammed they turn around and press charges on you. So with that said they(this bank) need to take responsibility as well , what bank clears a bad check bc your in good standing, who does that?. Stay away.

You need more staff! To only have one teller there on a Friday afternoon is absolutely insane. I waited 45 minutes Then the one that you had is rude. Y'all need to open up the Walmart on Dorchester one again.

NFCU is great. I get the complaints from pple that have to wait a long time in the drive thru. But if you haven't realized NF is a popular credit union, the lines have always been long. Maybe try picking a different time or day to go. Like minded pple do like minding things, learn to switch it up. Plus they have really great online banking and the app works amazing. Did you know if you go to another credit union atm, you do get cash back at the end of the month for it. They are doing the best they can, lighten tf up. Nd after all of this you still feel the need to close your account and use a different bank. Then Great, saves some time others have to wait in line.

The teller drive thru is horrendous, the wait time is 10-20 minutes every single time I go there. The staff is nice, the overall experience isn’t bad but the wait time to just cash a check shouldn’t have to be 10-20 minutes. Very unprofessional and that should change immediately.

I rarely ever write reviews but since I have been sitting in my car for 45 mins and still sitting i thought I would use my time wisely. Hire more staff! The drive thru is going at a snails pace! I swear they only have 1 person working as its every other car going between the two lanes. Its ridiculous. If you have inside closed you should be prepared in the drive thru and it is very obvious they are not. Still waiting........

Really can’t say enough good things about this branch. We are an hour out from closing and found out at the last minute that I needed a certified check. It was a rather complex process on my part because the money had to come from a different account, etc. Even with COVID and the branch being remodeled...Jennifer had a certified check in my hand in less than 10 minutes and we can close on our house on time. Thank you so much Jennifer, really meant a lot that you went above and beyond like you did for my family.
