Terrible customer service! You can use their credit card to pay on a auto loan with just your Id but if you want to use another institutions credit card you have to show Multiple forms of identification….this is a form of “steering” when a company makes it difficult for you to use anything outside of the institution…so disappointed!

With the mobile deposit in their application still not functioning, I drove to my closest location just to find this ATM in a nonworking state. I can only make the drive on the weekend, what good is a bank that can't even process a check?

I've been a member since 1999 and NFCU has always had my back. I will be a member for life. The customer service rocks, the product offerings are great, and their loan applications are simple, easy, and convenient. I do wish they had a branch closer to where I live in Kernersville, though. It's an hour and a half drive every time I need to deposit cash. However, it's a small price to pay for everything they give me in return.

“Working” with mortgage officer Nick Fischer has been absolutely dreadful. From the very beginning, our personalities did not click and I should have taken that as a red flag. Our realtor sent Nick the order for an appraisal on February 29th - it is now March 14 and no appraisal has been done. Come to find out Nick never submitted the appraisal because he was “busy” - well yeah so is everyone else, Nick. Getting in contact with him is difficult too. You can’t find any direct numbers to individual branches online. When I am able to leave him a voicemail, it usually takes a day for him to get to me or my husband. It took me filing complaint with corporate for anything to be done. I was able to talk to my loan processor, (one person above Nick) and she is doing a rush on our appraisal, but there is still a wait of 1 week. This is completely unacceptable. I am far from satisfied. I need to feel like the people I’m working with actually care, and I’m not just another number or sale. I was looking forward to working with Navy because of the good rates, but will be sure to tell friends and family to stay far far away.

This Credit Union is incompetent and not a good place to do banking. They have screwed up on bill pay, deposits and lending and the staff are clueless.

EVERY TIME I HAVE EVER CAME TO NAVY FEDERAL I GOT EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TOOK CARE OF ALL MY ISSUES AND CONCERNS!!!!!

Incredibly disappointed with this bank. Employees that will lie about help and advice they gave you so they can stay out of trouble is pathetic when it comes to banking. Cannot believe the hassles and hoops we have been jumping through for two weeks. NFCU is wonderful but this is not the branch to visit if you need any form of assistance. The lady who helped me today looked at another employee and laughed saying its always me referring to having to help me with ongoing issues which is not how you handle customers who are being polite and doing their best to explain the situation and figure things out. As other customers have stated the customer service here is pretty poor.

This was a great experience. Very convenient location. In the heart of Brier Creek. Charles was great! He knew the bank's products very well! He gave me a breakdown of different products and educated me on some new products that I didn't know about. Great conversation. It was close to closing time and I was not rushed. I will definitely spread the work out NFCU great banking services and great products!

We had some issues with some insurance transfers to our account. The gentleman at the front desk seemed very reluctant to even attempt to assist us but put us in line to speak with someone anyway. By luck of the draw, we spoke with Cindy. She wasn't able to fix our issue, but she went out of her way to get answers for us and was amazingly sweet and empathetic. If you need account assistance, I have no doubt that you'll get the best of it from her.
