We had a pleasure to work with Angel Oaks Home Loans when purchasing our new home recently. The whole process was fairly easy and bumps free, which was important to us since a house purchasing may be already a stressful event. Katrina Weaver from AOHL was an outstanding help through the entire process. Her professionalism, subject matter expertise are unparalleled and she combines it with the upbeat and friendly personality. Additional noteworthy skill is her communication aptitude. She promptly and swiftly answered our questions, concerns etc., which was adamant to us. Trione DePinto and her team is just so awesome! From the pre-qualification process, home buying offers (yes offers with “s” since the real estate market is so crazy in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill areas, I had to make multiple offers…Trione was there with her stellar service), and closing, Trione was very professional, on top of everything and more importantly very responsive. I was ready to close way before my closing, which eliminated the financial stresses. I would recommend Trione to any of my friends and relatives and would use her again if opportunity permits.

If only 0 stars we’re an option, it certainly would be fitting. Jo Anna Walker gave little to no effort towards providing any sort of professional service. The only time the slightest bit of professional courtesy was provided was the 10-15 minute initial phone call before the loan application was submitted. After that, there was a lack of communication all around. I received a couple very brief emails that provided little to no information on my status. I expected this experience to be more informative with some guidance. After a couple of days of not hearing from her, I reached out by phone and email. I got 1 short email response saying “I’m at an event today but will call later” to which of course I never received that call. Advisor? I beg to differ. The only thing I was advised of was fake promises of receiving follow up phone calls that NEVER happened. I’m not sure how someone can drop the ball like this on such simple tasks and service. Hopefully my experience was a one time thing. I usually don’t write reviews but as a first time home buyer, I have to say, I am thoroughly disappointed. I’m not writing this as a recommendation to think twice when choosing Angel Oak Home Loans. However, I would be very cautious when choosing the right advisor.

My experience with Trione was off the charts! I have never had a better experience with purchasing a home, car or anything else as I have with her. She went above and beyond for my family and I. She was very professional, timely, knowledgeable and VERY relatable and honest. She always did her due diligence with any questions we had to get us the most up to date information. She was very patient and explained each step immensely. I have recommended her to all my family and friends as I am confident she will treat them the same. I will only work with her in the future regarding any home loans. Angel Oak Home Loans and Trione DePinto are exceptional Thank you for helping my dream come true!
