If you are looking to put your trust into a company who will pay for short term disability, this is not the one for you. Read the reviews below, also. I am not the only one to have issues. I put in a claim for two weeks leave for foot surgery the end of February. May 11, and still waiting. They drag their feet. They do not pay. They claim that documents were not received from my surgeon. The surgeon's secretary showed me the fax receipt. I had him refax and called and complained. Suddenly the docs appeared. They never told me they wanted my Primary Care info until APRIL. The salesperson was all about how fast the short term disability is paid if there is no preexisting condition. Hogwash.

Get Out!!!!! If there is a good review for this company it is probably a lie!!!! They have hundreds of complaints with the better business Bureau for not paying out peoples claims. Ive been hearing for sometime this company is a scam but didn't believe it. Go to the BBB's website to see all the horrible experiences. I have been trying to cancel my policy and everytime I call customer service I'm hung up on!!!

Nothing but red tape and loop holes to jump through when trying to file a claim. multiple denials for petty reasons. Do not buy policy though them, they just try to make the process so painful and difficult so they don't have to pay out claims.

They have always paid my wellness claims for the past 15 years. They are very courteous and friendly.

Completely misrepresented what they will pay. Accident policy is not worth the paper it is written on, and they will go to great lengths to find ways to delay and frustrate the policy holder so as not to pay anything at all. The claims adjusters have ZERO medical background and cannot even accurately translate medical transcripts. Ex: Back Injury....an ER visit, a tordal shot, an MRI, SEVEN epidural steroid shots in L4-L5, pharmaceuticals, and 14 days missed from work. Payout-$250......if you can get them to pay.....I cannot DO NOT waste your money. Look into Aflac or another reputable company.

Waiting over a month to get an answer regarding my claim. Everytime I call they say the same thing “it is under review”. When I ask to speak to a claims agent or a supervisor they say it is not possible. If I want to “speak” to a supervisor it would have to be by email because they wont transfer your call. Never heard of a company where you cant speak to management. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND THE HEADACHE. This company is awful

This company actually does not deserve the one star I gave it. I have had the policy for over two years. When I made my first claim and provided all verification, it was not enough. I provided all office visits, mri(s), x-rays and surgical notes. Not enough. Advised them whatever additional they needed, they could obtain from the doctor's office. I was advise they would not. No managers available. Poor customer service. I requested my policy be cancelled immediately. I couldn't do that either. I have to wait until they mail me the forms and they receive the signed and returned forms back. I previously had AFLAC for over 10 years. When I switched employers I went with NTA Life. Biggest mistake of my life. Save yourself the headache. Don't do it.

Always had my claims paid on time, and never had any billing issues. Apparently they have a globe statue in front where you can catch Pokemon

I submitted a claim for my heart policy (CT of heart with Physician's Prescription) and they denied it because there was no physician's prescription. What? It was the first page with my note on it labeling it as the prescription. They could have also contacted the hospital which performed the procedure, but they did not. This is to warn people that they do not pay legitimate wellness claims. I will be cancelling both my heart and cancer policies with them. I do not think you can count on them!

I was Injured and submitted a Claim for disability the Dr took me off from work for 3 months. NTA paid only 2months and on the 3rd month Mr.Steve-Operations Manager called me and informed me that unless I answer 48 questions NTA would not be able to pay Me!! Mr.Steve told me he would be on Vacation for Christmas. I am STILL waiting for NTA to reach out to my Doctor, I haven't been able to pay ANY of my bills. When you call the company No One Knows Anything!! Mr. Steve has stopped taking my calls and I'm still paying my premium in case NTA decides to send the Disability money I am due. I am very DISAPPOINTED! TRUST ME DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NTA. WHEN YOU NEED THEM THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU
