Vito has been extremely helpful during the refinance process. From the first call he made us feel we were in good hands. He was informative and guided us step by step till the end. My neighbors were refinancing as well, thru another online company, they started before us the whole process, and were able to close sooner than them. Mutual of Omaha Mortgage made my First time home buying experience very easy. Michael was amazing and walked me through the whole process. He made sure I understood every step. The worst mortgage company of the world, with all false advertisements. When their actual refinance rate is at 3.25% as on 6/21/2021 - they advertised 2.342% on CNBC and many other websites. The female loan officer who worked me mentioned if my credit is good then I will definitely get advertised rate. When she pulled my credit report, it is found that I have excellent credit history with 800+ score. I asked her several times before pulling my credit that with 800+ score will I be qualified for 2.343% without buying points, each time she says if we advertised that means the rate is available. And when she has to lock me the rate 2.342% the real scam has been exposed. Then she says there is a fee of 21k (Yes - exactly $21000) if you need to get that rate Mutual of Omaha mortgage is advertising. How ridiculous!! I would give zero rating if available, don't be fooled be careful guys!

Our representative was Sean McMenamin and I have to agree with everyone else that he was great to work with. He was very open, patient, and responsive with all of my questions throughout the process. Also, the app was handy to be able to take photos of most docs and submit them through the app. My husband and I would highly recommend working with Sean for your mortgage needs!

I’m not sure who looks for mortgage company reviews, but I’m happy I went with Mutual of Omaha (thanks to Costco). Just ask for Chloe Hsieh. She is what made me glad I went with Mutual of Omaha. Really good experience with our Mutual of Omaha Mortage representative. He was consistently responsive and extremely willing to work with us to design a mortage program that worked for us. The process was convenient and closing came to us, much appreciated with Covid still around.

Highly recommend him and his organization. 1- Great rate 2- Easy access and availability of the loan officer (Geo) for all misc questions. 3- Follow-up from Mutual when required with only the minimum paperwork required.
