I recently completed the purchase of a home with Chris Quinn of Mutual of Omaha Mortgage. Chris was a great person to work with. He was always available, no matter when I called or emailed, he immediately replied. He made the process extremely easy and I never had any problems . Even after closing when all the documents were completed, if I had a question, Chris immediately answered it for me. It was a very easy and uncomplicated home purchase thanks to Chris Quinn and I highly recommend him.

My partner and I worked with Trudy at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage on the purchase of our first home here in Tacoma. From the beginning it was clear that Trudy was a good listener and prioritized our wants and needs etc. As this was our first home purchase we naturally had endless questions which Trudy always seemed glad to teach and explain. When we had bumps in the buying road she was always reassuring. We'd certainly recommend Trudy and Omaha Mortgage, and when it comes time we'd love to work with Trudy again.

Michael Ross of Mutual of Omaha mortgage service did a great job of putting together a home loan with a great interest rate and low cost to us. E-signing made it very simple to submit documents. Mike was very professional and did a great job of communicating with us throughout the entire process.

Mike is a really good listener and understands his customers needs. We really appreciated how fast and seamless it was to finalize our loan. Mike and Alyssa are a great team. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We would highly recommend their services to anyone.

I recently did my home loan refinance with "Mutual of Omaha Mortage" and they were superb. Ask for "Trudy Moore". She was amazing, very easy to work with, customer oriented, very responsive and very understanding. She made sure all my queries were addressed. Would definitely recommend her. I was paired with Mutual of Omaha through Costco's mortgage program. The agent I was assigned to presented me with a very attractive offer for a refinance on my mortgage. After getting my application in, this agent ignored me on many different occasions. He even went on vacation for a week and did not have the decency to inform me, nor pass me onto a colleague who actually had time to work with me. Emails and phone calls were continuously ignored. All of this occurred during the time I was desperately trying to get a rate lock in, but his delays eventually caused me to lock in a higher mortgage rate with a lower lender credit two and a half weeks later. I took my grievances to Costco and Mutual of Omaha, but they decided to do nothing for me other than a mediocre apology and a pathetic $500 refund, even though this horrible experience will end up costing me thousands of dollars over the life of my loan. Mutual of Omaha deserves zero stars or less for the experience I went through. I have no idea to this day why I was ignored... it was as though they were purposefully trying to delay my rate lock so that they didn't have to give me the offer that was originally presented to me.

If you do not wish to read my long review in Summary I cannot recommend Mutual of Omaha especially the Puyallup WA branch. Poorly run organization, take your business someplace else. If you think you will get Costco service forget about it. I am another Costco sucker! I went through 1 refi with Mutual of Omaha Mortgage for my home it was painful and it took 4 months. Then I decided to refi an investment property thinking Mutual of Omaha already has my financial information it should go smooth and quick, I was very wrong so very very wrong. Even though I was working with the same team they acted like a was a new customer I had to provide all my information again and they are still requesting more 90 days into it. Then I asked my loan officers to lock my rate in writing and she ignored my request and now the rates have increased and they done nothing to make it right. Sometimes 2-3 weeks go by and I don't hear from them and when I do finally hear back they need updated bank statements, and financial information because we roll into a new month and the information I gave them is now old. I complained to the manager of the Puyallup branch who initially said he would make it right for me but that was just BS he has no backbone and would not fight for me and now dodges my emails and calls. In summary the Mutual Of Omaha Mortgage is a poorly run organization, and poorly managed. I would not recommend them for any banking needs. I am so frustrated with them I have also contacted Costco to let them know they choose a bad company to partner with. I rarely take time to write reviews but I am so frustrated with Mutual Of Omaha I felt compelled to speak up. My refi loan is not yet finished it will be interesting if suddenly I get denied if this review hits a nerve within the organization. Regards Curt Christopherson

Mike and his team kept me in the loop throughout the loan process. Anytime I had questions and emailed/texted/called them they responded quickly. They were professional and caring. Best loan service I have received. I would use Mike again and would refer him to others looking for a home loan or to refinance. Mike is above a 5 rating - exceptional! Thank You!
