Municipal Credit Union St Nicholas Ave, New York

They need to update how their processes work. I shouldn't have to always have to wait for a representative for every little thing I want to do with the bank. Especially when you have to wait like two years for one on the phone.

I recently went to this branch to open a checking and savings account and the customer service was the most unprofessional service I have seen in years. I work for the State and was unable to open an account because the Branch manager did not want to accept my rent stub as acceptable verification of address. She couldn't believe I paid a year in advance and made everything difficult. I will be returning this week and if it happens again I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau because this type of service is unacceptable.

I was put on hold for a brief time (47 minutes), then after waiting 15 minutes I was told I only had 49 minutes, after waiting another 15 minutes I was told I had 50 minutes. Never got to speak to human, just the computer. I have never experienced this kind of BS. I would never do business with this Credit Union.

This is the worst MCU branch anyone can ever go to. They took your business out loud they have a card reader on their door that doesn't even work so you can travel distances you'll still never get in the bank like me right now.

The phone service is disgusting. I've literally been on hold for ONE HOUR and 4 minutes, currently. I heard this was a very good bank, however, their first impression via phone is not cutting it. Hoping the in person visit is not disappointing.

Had to make an appointment and wait 3 days to try and open an account. When I got there was told I had to work for the city or have an existing member sponsor me. Weird to be a bank that doesn’t want my money but you also could’ve told me that when I made an appointment to make a new account rather than have me wait 3 days and then show up.

Been here since 9am, its 9:30 and still not open on a Saturday

I hate this credit union. Asked for direct deposit back in September 2018. Still don't have it and no answers. Now I've been trying to make a purchase for the past two days. I can't even buy anything without having to call them and tell them I'm about to make a large purchase. I'm done I'm going to chase or TD. DONE.

They DO NOT GIVE CASH at this location. So do not waste time going here if you need cash on hand.. They are also always short staffed and its always a wait no matter what time of day. Extremely disappointed with their business

This is the worst bank ever. The atm never work. The member services all need to be trained they have no customer service skills..its a complete mess and Ms A Pena need an evaluation immediately because she doesn't know how to speak to the customers.
