I agree that there are some other places that will give more for what you have, but all i am saying is, why would you do business with anyone that didn't look up and evaluate what is gonna be used against a collateral debit that is used. I have no skin in the game, but I enjoy the people that work there, and usually (in a pinch) when I need to leave something, I usually leave something that is far more valuable than what I need, and I promise you that when I go back, they know who I am, and I have NEVER been insulted, jus sayin...

The women and guy that help me out or very helpful had a price on an item and we negotiated and they got the price they wanted and I got the price I wanted good place to shop, especially if you need that hard to find item.

Hands down 100% fantastic business. unlike many pawn shops your going to be dealing with the people of mountaineer pawn believe in doing the right thing I can only speak of my own experience of buying a firearm from mountaineer pawn. I had received a rifle as an early Christmas present and upon looking at it noticed something peculiar I had not seen before dealing with firearms and so I took it to them and without hesitation after inspecting it themselves offered me a choice of a new gun of equal or less value, a full refund, or for them to send it to a gunsmith for further inspection I decided for the gunsmith and got a call the very next day saying everything is fine I was shocked at how understanding and quick they were to fix my problem they will certainly see my face again!

Bought subs and amp and box from here. Soon as I hooked them up smelled a burnt smell and went back and told them there's something wrong. They said there good nothing's wrong blah blah. Well next morning the subs wouldn't work at all I didn't turn up volume or bridge amp and had amp turned down so us amp wasn't enough watts to blow subs. I went back and told them they wasn't working this was next morning after purchase. They called me a liar and that I prob blew them by cranking it up and they were good when I bought them, wouldn't cut me a deal on another pair of subs or anything just had the worst attitude and basically told me to leave the store. I would highly recommend not doing business with them. Marion and newland will work with you a lot better both is only like 20 to 30 min away. I've bought several high filler stuff from this one and I thaugh I deserved better respect from a returning customer. I paid 200 for something that lasted a fee hours and then got called a liar....very disrespectful and unnecessary because I had no attitude at all and didn't say anything out of the way at all.

The worst service and most rude people EVER deserves 0 stars do NOT!!!! DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER ESPECIALLY WITH THE LONG HAIR BOY WHO IS EXTREMELY RUDE AFTER PAWNING AN ITEM 2X THEY WANT TO LOOK UP VALUES AND TRY TO GIVE YOU WAYYY LESS than your stuff is worth make the drive to marion or Avery much better places to do business
