This branch of Mountain America Credit Union in Apache Junction is a very inviting and modern. The person who helped me with my account was very helpful.

I just went inside for the first time the other day, to deposit a check. The gentleman at the desk seemed nice when I got there, but when I got up to the desk he was honestly kind of rude. He didn’t even ask me which account I wanted to deposit my check into, so I told him. Half way through my visit I asked him if he knew why the drive up ATM sits up so high. He kind of chuckled and said he never heard that one before. Then he said, because it’s at eye level?And his one coworker laughed pretty good after he said that. If you drive a sedan, which I’m sure many of their customers do, then you strain yourself trying to use the screen on the ATM and you almost have to get out of your car to use the drive up ATM. Mind you I’m 6’ tall, so you wouldn’t think I would have a problem. Definitely was not a great first experience and I won’t ever go inside of this branch again. The branch on Greenfield and Southern was a much more welcoming experience. This branch should take some notes.

Connor helped us with our refinance and at first it was a great experience. As it progressed everything seemed to be rushed, and all he cared about was signatures. He didn't care about our questions or concerns, or our time. We made an appt with him to sign in person and get titles transferred and he stood us up (he was busy the entire time with someone else). He had someone else come stamp our papers and then we sat for awhile. My husband and I both took half a day off work to get this all taken care of, and it was a waste of time. After sitting for awhile they finally released us and told us Connor would get in touch. We were not able to get everything we needed to do done that day. Still, a month later there are things unfinished. Beware also, if you refinance and you think your payment is in 30 days, you may quickly find out it is in two weeks. They do not give you 90 days as most other places do either. So many things I wish I knew before signing papers with this credit union. Overall, would not recommend. The money you save is not worth the hassle and negative/ hidden surprises.

I have been in the Apache Junction office twice this week. Both times employ have been very outgoing and pleasant. Greeting folks when they come by thru door. Today I dealt with Aaron and he took care of my deposit and was very friendly and open to just talking about the day and such. I thoroughly enjoy coming into this branch to do our banking. Keep up the good Customer Service. It is truly a dying art in today’s world.

Nice place. Just opened a new business account. Only issues I see that need to be looked into are lack of ATM's (except drive through) and I need to wait for the one person who handles business accounts to be out this way to finish setting up my account to be able to accept and process credit card payments. Other than that the staff has been outstanding and very helpful. Would and have recommended them to several people.

Connor Levi helped me refinance my truck and it was a wonderful experience! His attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and genuine interest helped me save over $2100 annually! I ended up opening a checking account along with another line of credit because of how he was able to help me. They have great rates!
