Probably the only pawn shop I've been to where the employees don't pretend to be that douche from pawn stars. They are actually nice and give great customer service. You'll never get top dollar at one of these places but their offers are very fair. If you don't like the pretentious attitude of most pawn shops, them I strongly recommend this one. Glenda and the big guy with the beard were amazing.

I personally enjoy pawn shops. There is a certain novelty to it. A certain excitement, comparable to a Friday night at blockbuster. Even though it's not movies. A late evening at a pawn shop is always fun. I enjoy pawn 1st because what you see is what you get. Desirable items at fair prices. And being the long time customer that I am, I feel like a VIP member with the treatment I receive. Even before I am recognized, I am still treated with kindness and respect. Which is highly valued now-a-days. Plus, there is barely any wait time. The employees are so fast and precise its impressive. Wether it be a loan, a sale, or a purchase. Rest assured, pawn 1st will take care of you.

This shop is pretty much the best Pawn shop I have ever been too!! Everyone is supper friendly and really want to help you out! Left happy and will most def recommend to everyone that need a loan or just need great merchandise!!

Very friendly and reasonable. I have done a few loans here and a while back needed extra day (due to an unexpected family death and last min traveling over a holiday weekend!🤦‍♀️) and they were very understanding and gave me 2 extra days just to be on the safe side so I didn't have to stress about one more issue. Not only are they professional, they are mindful of these hard times that are affecting all of us. Each and every one employee that I have met have been very helpful and non judgemental. As some who has had not so great experiences in the past with other pawn shops as a young adult and had lost all my jewelry due to my naiveness. As an older adult with more maturity I still felt nervous but after talking with an employee that had informed me of the app that they have for customers and after down loading it, I felt comfortable and confident going forward. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for a trustworthy and fair loan with your valuables this place is where its at!

I'm sorry I was upset about something not related to pawn 1st. I actually like pawn 1st and believe they are far with prices and very helpful. It's the only pawn shop I will go to. The best in Arizona if you ask me. Thanks pawn 1st.

These guys are the best pawn shop in town by far they give you the most for your Pawns they text you when your pawns ready they keep you updated they've always been great to me awesome customer service amazing guys here highly recommend coming here

I got a ring from here and had to have it sized. These guys took care of me. They are professional and have such positive attitudes across the board. I like the variety of things they have to offer. If you go into this store you will likely leave with something that you didn't realize was missing from your life lol. In my case it was an opal ring. Thanks guys!

This place is awesome I got a loan on some jewelry 2 years ago. Came back in with the same jewelry they remembered me I was in and out in less than 5 minutes very professional I would recommend this shop over any other.

Pawn 1st at Gilbert was fantastic! The staff was very helpful and they were kind and reasonable with their prices. They had a wide variety of items and I found what I needed and more. Whenever we need there services, they are always polite, treat us with dignity. I fell into the donut hole on my medications. I can’t be with out them. Thankful that they are there in times of need. Nice store. Nice people I can trust.

Been here a few times. I would recommend this place for sure. Tiffany is really sweet and she always make me feel comfortable. they really do try their best to get me the best deals whether it’s a pawn or if I decide to buy something. Sometimes they can get super busy but they do acknowledge you and try to get to you as soon as they can. If you need quick cash definitely come here.

My business has me covering all over the valley which also allows me the opportunity to visit multiple pawn shops. My experience at Pawn 1st is always a pleasant experience. Unlike most that you will visit, they are always clean, friendly and willing to help. Customer service is a lost art but I had an exceptional experience with Frank and Shannon. They educated me on how they determined the value of my items and gave me a fair price. They were discreet and treated me with dignity. I rate the place and the service an A+.

Shannon was extremely helpful as well as knowledgeable, courteous and understanding of my situation. She operated with high-efficiency as well as competency. Although going to a pawnshop to get money that I needed is not ideal, Shannon made the entire process as smooth as one could hope for.

The staff here is polite, friendly, and professional. The store is clean and organized, and they have a wide selection of fair-priced inventory. When I've needed to pawn, they've given me what I've asked for the items each time. Please note: if you always pick up your pawned items within the given time frame, they're more willing to give more money. Fair is fair. I don't go anywhere else, and won't....they've earned my loyalty and repeat business many times over. They are one of a kind in a potentially shady industry.

I bought a Samsung TV from here, very good customer service. The person who helped was a gentlemen named Jason. He was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I threw at him. Other than being knowledgeable and polite he made sure to educate me on deals that were going on and I ended up buying an X box for my new TV.

Bought an apple laptop from Jason at Pawn1st on Gilbert and Guadalupe and the service was fantastic! They have a great selection of items and very fair prices. Would definitely recommend. When you go in ask for Jason and he will help make your experience a great one.

This is by far the absolute BEST pawn shop in the area!! Every single employee here is awesome...they always treat you with respect, they don't talk down to you just because you are in a rough spot financially (it happens to everyone at some point), & they always offer a fair amount for whatever you are selling or pawning. Plus, they always have a great selection of pretty much everything, which is extra impressive since this location isn't super big. For example, I always see at least one or two laptops that I actually want, there's always some type of rifle scope or pistol holster for sale, tons of different musical instruments, some really nice, new looking purses, a ton of different camera equipment & high quality cameras, & even though I'm not a huge jewelry person, I always like a ton of the jewelry I see in here. Overall it's my favorite pawn shop...it's by far the best one around!!

I've been to a few other pawn shops in town and this one by far was the best. Very social and made me feel like they were working with me instead of in their favor 10/10 will go again. Maybe just to shop.

100% would recommend. This place is supper fair, and it really seems they are there to get you what you need. Very helpful in a cruddy situation. Will most definitely be back to buy when I am done with my loan they have tons of awesome stuff!!

If you want to get the lowest price for your gold/silver/diamonds, then this is the place. I speak from experience.They don't even pay spot prices or at least 90%. Ridiculous. Lowballed. I will never ever return to sell or pawn at that business. Word of mouth is everything to businesses. Won't promote but will let my friends, family and others know about this. Wouldn't send my worst enemy there. Parking lot is always empty. Wonder why? Here's your sign.

Pawn1st Gilbert is one of the best pawn show I have ever been to the people are super friendly I worked with Sean and Michael and they were fantastic and actually seemed like they wanted to help! AND THE STORE! The store dose not remind you of a “traditional” Pawn shop it is clean and inviting!

I just like to say thank you to Frank for working with me that day I didn't get anything sold to them but I did find out where to get my specialty item sold and Frank was very polite very courteous and seemed very sincere in feeling bad about not being able to help me with the the huge speakers that I had but right after I did find a place that will take them and without any problem and I still appreciate his his genuineness and the store is immaculately clean and smells amazing. I've never been to a pawn shop before, and Shannon turned it into a wonderful, personal experience. She has the kind of customer service that can't be taught. You either have it or you don't, and she has it. I was nervous going in not knowing what to expect, but she walked me through the process while speaking to me as another human being would when catching up with an old friend. Michael was wonderful, everything was very laid back and there was no pressure to make a purchase. Michael was very knowledgeable and so sweet, unlike another Pawn1st i went to. Let's just say that my item i got a loan for was still available for me to pay and pick up but i was being told that I had to buy it back for double of what the loan was. What a pleasure to be treated as a human being and not as though my existence is not important! I look forward to making many more purchases real soon.

I was in while on vacation and had the most amazing experience I was looking for a gaming system and this very professional man named Jason helped me. even though they didn't have what I was looking for he was so welcoming and made the visit very nice we ended up buying a few other things. Most of the people I’ve bought stuff from in the store have always been real nice to me and treated me fair. I have enjoyed doing business in This Store over the course of a couple three years. As far as pawnshops on this side of town it’s my primary spot that I check first one I’m looking for certain things. I also had occasion to sell something there and that went well, as I expected.

I arrived right at closing, I needed a loan for gas until I got paid , not only did they stay open for me but even though my items were in need of batteries so they really didn’t want them not knowing If they worked or not , still helped me by giving me a small loan to help with at least gas. I am tremendously grateful and believe they went above and beyond. Great customer service and I would recommend their services to anyone looking to sell or buy items or if only needing a temporary loan. Thank you Michael for being awesome

Many pawn shops tend to have that "old feel" to them. I have spoken to so many people that feel like items at pawn shops are almost "always stolen" or "broken" etc. But I feel pawn shops such as yours do a great job proving that negative stigma wrong. The workers at Pawn1st always do their best to put the customer's experience first, which is so nice to see. Jason for instance has always gone above and beyond to ensure any item I have ever purchased was functioning, clean, and I never had the feeling of being "swindled" like I have at other pawn shops. When I was in-between jobs, he went out of his way to loan me more money on my items than any other pawn shop offered. Jason has proven that he cares not only about his customers, but also about their items. He has taken better care of my items than any other pawn shop I have ever gone to. I could write a novel about my experience with Jason alone, but I'll refrain and just say "Thank you." You have done more to help me and my family than I could ever say. You and Pawn1st ROCK! :)

They had great customer service vary nice. A clean establishment and fare with there pricing. Best pawn shop I've ever been to. I had a electric drill and I went to 3 pawn shops before them and they gave me the best price on it. I was happy with them and I plan on doing more business with them.

I’ve always felt like Pawn 1st has done right by me UNTIL TODAY! I’ve always paid my loans off than the allotted time and I’ve always been a good customer. Today however I went in with a gift my dad gave me a small Dremel saw worth over $100 and I asked for $40 so that I could buy some groceries. The guy looked it up and said he would only give me $25 for it I told him the price a bit just a month earlier But he didn’t care I asked for $40 a second time telling them telling him that I would be back to get it in a week but he wouldn’t budge. When he was finished with the transaction handed me my $25 he just walked away without a word and started helping another person. After two years of doing business with them, I WILL NOT RETURN AGAIN except to pay double what I got to retreave my tool next week!!

The customer service was great. I called ahead of time, and they were more then happy to answer my questions before going in. I made it a 4/5 review because I felt like they undervalued my items, but that's just about any pawn shop. My all around experience was excellent, and I would use this pawn shop again.
