Mountain America Credit Union S 3rd St, Boise

Mountain America Credit Union is an awesome place to do business with. I got involved with them through a car loan. They offered a great rate and so I opened a savings account there. The tellers are always friendly and helpful.

Ashley provided me with outstanding customer service! She was personable and positive, and has helped me out financially—saving me a lot of money each month. She lowered the interest rate on both my car loan and my personal loan! Ashley also has given me great advice on how to raise my credit score!! She is a wonderful asset to Mountain America Bank, and I really appreciate her!!!

Our complete experience at the Boise downtown branch was fantastic. Lily treated my wife and I with kindness and was very professional. Needless to say we have 5 accounts there and plan to continue doing business there. Heidi and Rogelio in Fruitland.

I had an amazing experience talking to one of the bankers at MACU! I had called about a small issue within my account and with the help of JR, it was fixed immediately. He answered all the questions I had and proceeded to tell me about the rewards system and special features within the banking app. Speaking with JR was like catching up with an old friend, he was such an easy person to talk to! He has been the most helpful and welcoming employee that I have encountered since being with MACU.

I absolutely LOVE this bank. I found them last year as I was looking to get my auto loan refinanced as well as get some new lines of credit. I had been banking with my current credit union for 5 years and was not even a previous customer with Mountain America credit union. They approved me for a better rate on my autol oans, higher credit limits and worked drastically faster than my current credit union. I absolutely love working with them and they give GREAT customer service.

The staff does a good job at the branches. But, in Boise they have insufficient coverage. They have left the central bench and southwest Boise without proper branch coverage. Meridian has better coverage than Boise does. Because I have to drive 25 minutes to visit a branch, I use a closer commercial bank for most transactions because it is in neighborhood. Mountain America - please do better for Boise and your loyal members.

I'm not a customer here, but I was selling a truck to a young couple who drove 4 hours to purchase it. They went to Mountain America CU at 5:30 thinking they were done with their loan but they were missing several things. The banker/manager ended up staying an hour and a half after closing so that they didn't need to get a hotel and stay overnight. They finished their loan and were so happy. Thanks for offering this young married couple great service and allowing them to get back on the road home.

Low wait times, but the website is very limited. You'll need to do a lot over the phone or in person.
