Mountain America Credit Union N, Farmington

I loved Mountain America credit Union until they took $2800 of my money and still haven’t refunded me. I just get the constant will get back to you. Today I filed a complaint with the FTC so I’m hoping I will get my money back soon. I bought some furniture which I didn’t get and the company refunded me back onto my debit card. The debit cards tied to my checking account but I never got it even though the company has provided proof they sent it. It is so weird

We had several things to handle and it ended up taking a little longer then I thought. We ended up keeping the staff after closing time, and they were very patient and wanted to make sure they had addressed all of our needs first. I feel like in general Mountain America Credit Union always tries to put their members first. Shout out to Brad for going the extra mile. :)

I'm writing this review to hopefully save others from a terrible experience like the one I had. I was in the market for some investment property mortgages so I called my local Mountain America branch. I was referred to Tori, their "mortgage loan expert" at another office. I called the number for a day and a half and it just rang and rang. Not even a voicemail prompt. Finally, I called their 800 customer service number and asked if they could connect me. After a very long hold, the agent told me he was also getting a never-ending ringing phone. He offered to email Tori and have her call me which she did later that day. Oddly, from the beginning her tone was very condescending. She acted very annoyed that I had asked someone else in her company to have her call me. She answered every question with the same annoyed and condescending tone. At the end of the call she actually insinuated I was trying to break an underwriting rule when I simply told her I could do something she requested. Needless to say, I'll be taking my loans and banking elsewhere.

Mountain America CU is the best. They have always treated me great, and I feel valued as a member. Best CU I’ve found!

I always feel welcome when I walk into MACU! Other credit unions don't really want me to make deposits. It's always over their limit and need someone else to look at it even if there is 10 times the amount in my account. MACU always has the friendliest people!!

Out of all the mountain America branches I have worked with the Farmington branch is by far the best!! The quality of customer service and care greatly surpasses any other branch out there! Tyson and Sara are Amazing!!! I am a business owner and have 3 accounts with macu, they did for me what no other branch ever cared to attempt to do and has made me a mountain America remember forever! The tellers were very helpful even though their were many customers. The manager came out to see if certain transactions could be handled by other staff in the Bank.
