Excellent customer service! Both team members answered my questions, listened to my concerns and offered suggestions on ways to help. Giving me options. And quickly found resolutions. All with a kind professional attitude. Also after asking if Mountain America was in the state of Nevada, he quickly looked up the branches in the city that I inquired about. He explained how my son could open an account online. And use either of the branches. I’m thankful for their kindness and respect.

The staff are always eager to help, they are professional, knowledgeable and .friendly. We are always treated more like family than just another customer. Over my life, either personally or for my businesses, I have banked at two different credit unions and at least seven different banks, and MACU has been the best!

I walked in with a car loan, given to me by the dealership, with an insanely high interest rate and 6 credit cards with balances. I walked out with everything paid off and consolidated into one payment with a very low interest rate. Improved my life 10 fold and gave me a serious boost! I didn't even know this was possible. I’ve been banking with Mountain America Credit Union for awhile now, always have a pleasant experience with them. Great customer service, the personal bankers and bank tellers at this branch are really friendly, quick and helpful. It’s located conveniently surrounded by a lot of other businesses plus closed to the outlet mall so it’s always busy here. Don’t come during lunch hours because it’s usually a long wait. If you want a quick trip in and out the bank, come here early in the morning or before they close. I’m always happy with their service here so highly recommend it.

My husband and I came to this branch about a year ago (and often since) we met with Cody O’Brien who is the best! He was so nice and he made the process of opening a joint account, refinancing our vehicles, and even the process of getting our money back after our card info was stolen, so easy! Highly recommend him! We go to him any time we need anything and he always helps and goes above and beyond!

I switched over to MACU after having horrible service with another bank. They have been nothing, but exceptional. I want to highlight a specific experience that makes me glad I stick with them. Our transmission in one of our cars went out and we were stuck with only one vehicle between two full time employees. We were devastated and began car shopping. We originally went into the River Road branch to inquire about how much we could get approved for for a new car loan, knowing we may have to get rid of the car not working. However, this meeting lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. Madalyn and Matt were so helpful. Knowing that trading in a car with a junk transmission would cause us to go upside down on our current car loan, they offered another option for us. Long story short, they helped us find a way to fix the transmission in our car and not have to trade it in and find a new car. We are now happily back to two cars and we are so happy. The meetings with Madalyn were so constructive and she was so friendly and wonderful. This is a bank that truly cares about its clients and they really make you feel it. I am so happy that I chose MACU and don't plan on using any other bank for the foreseeable future.

I have banked with mountain America for over 5 years since I moved here from Minnesota and they have been exceptional to work with for my financial needs. Friendly staff and easy to use online app and website make all the difference in managing money and making payments, deposits and more. Would recommend!

I have been a customer of MACU since 2008, and today, I will be closing all my accounts with them. My personal, retirement, insurances, and business accounts. I want to make it clear, this in not just a review of the local branches here in Southern Utah, this is a review for the entire customer service that I have been encountering as of recently. Yesterday (Oct. 15, 2021) I was going to use my Platinum Visa I have with MACU to pay for a vehicle repair and was declined even though my card is at a $0 balance, and I have more than enough credit limit on it. I called the 1-800 number on the back of the card and was placed on a 20 minute queue. The repair shop was closing soon, so I had to leave. After approximately 40 minutes of wait time, I opt to receive a call back; which I never received. I call first thing in the morning again. I got a hold of someone within 5 minutes. This individual was rude, and not helpful at all, she transferred me to the fraud department as she claimed she could not help me. The fraud department said they could not help me because the people at the 1-800 number on the card did not create a case for them to pull up and thus had me call again. Not transfer, call again and get on the call in queue yet again. The fraud department said they could not transfer from their department to another, but somehow customer service can? Makes no sense, but I called yet again. I get ahold of another customer service person after waiting on the call in queue yet again. She cannot help and simply took down my information to have some "Card Specialist" call me later. "So what now,?" I asked her, I need to pay for my vehicle repair and my card is not working. She says, "go into the local branch in your city to see if they can help you" she says. I go into my local branch... They pretty much have the same excuse. "We don't know what is going on with your card, it is the repair shop's fault your card is not working." So I go into the Repair shop and asked them to try and charge my card once more, it gets declined. So I had an idea, I will will use another card, from MACU, also a VISA, but at a much higher interest rate, about 2.5 times higher and guess what? It worked. I of course go back into the local branch and ask them to please explain why one of their cards works, yet the other does not. They have yet again, no answers for me. They have the audacity to ask me if I want to take advantage of a "Higher earning interest Savings" account as I have a large sum of money in my savings account. Are you kidding me? I am done with MACU you as of today. So, what can I believe now? that MACU doesn't want me to use my super low interest rate card on a costly repair? They want to make more money off of me with my doubled the interest Card, also a MACU card? That is what it looks like to me. This is not my first and only frustration with MACU, I have had numerous headaches cause of their lack of customer support that I have had to resort to other banking solutions, or lenders in the past for both my personal and business banking needs. I hope this review sheds some light on those looking for a their banking needs.

I was greeted by Daylin in the branch. She was extremely helpful and knowableble. She definitely went out of her way to accomodate my needs. I greatly appreciated the care and time that Daylin took to make my experience excellent!! I was also impressed with the Branch Manager whom kept asking the full lobby if there was anything he can do to help with their needs. Happy Member!
