I have banked at another credit union for over 20 years. When I made the decision to change financial institutions, it was a big decision for me. Deseret First Credit Union made the transition easy. Shawn was so knowledgeable and helpful with the process. He understands what customer service entails. I’m so glad I chose Deseret First Credit Union.

Zero Customer Service and Zero listening skills. If no stars were possible that is what I would give them! I had a new business owner needing help so unfortunately I tried to send my client to them. Stacy and Sid are ridiculous! So rude not helpful and out right not interested in helping a new local business person.

Maiela was so very helpful to Doug and I when we needed to set up extra savings accounts. Very kind❤️We loved working with her❤️

Took my kitten to the vet. They turned my card off because of fraudulent charges which I had no idea! Since it’s been past 7 days their after hours people couldn’t see what these so called fraudulent charges were. No phone call, no email, no letter in the mail just turned it off. So I’m pulling all my money out and going elsewhere. I’ve never been so embarrassed and humiliated because my card was declined. Luckily my vet clinic has heart and have been seeing other pets of mine for years so they are letting me pay later when I get this mess straightened out!

Do not go here. My husband and I were treated like we didn't know anything because we are young. My mother in law said she loved it here and they respected her. Well we went in, talked to Joan, and were treated poorly every time we came in. She acted like she was gifting us with this credit card with a huge limit when I got a better one at my bank, we were just trying to build credit for my husband. Joan would never call us back, we would have to call every other day for weeks for her to get back to us about our loan. We finally got a loan, but quickly ended it. We didn't want to stay here. When we went in to close our account so we could go somewhere else Joan decided to make it her business and watch over the shoulder of the person closing the account while making snotty comments to my husband. We were treated like we knew nothing, like a couple children. She was not professional with us every time we went in. Just do not go here if you are trying to build credit/just starting out or be treated like an adult. ESPECIALLY if you are young.
