Our mortgage Loan Officer Ted Sandalakis with Mortgage Right has helped us out several times with our mortgage needs. After refinancing back in Oct 2020 I thought that we would not need to do anything else with a mortgage company again until were ready to sell our current home. Boy was I wrong, Ted had been staying in touch with me and let me know of the jump in home values and the drop in rates in 2021. He suggested that if we had any debt we wanted to pay off that we could do a cash out refinance to payoff the debt and keep our rate near what we currently had. So, I told him we were interested, well we were able to payoff nearly $60k in debt while keeping the same rate as we had. Our mortgage payment increased about $400/month but we eliminated $2000/mo in debt.
