I had an emergency department visit with no insurance. The staff at the ED told me about AccessOne. I called and they set me up with a very affordable payment plan with no interest. And I didn't have to do anything but answer some questions on the phone. Afterward, they followed up to make sure I was satisfied. It's so wonderful that a resource like this exists for unexpected bills when a person is uninsured or just doesn't have enough insurance.

I just got off the phone with Josie/ Patient Advocate Access One. As has been my experience each time I have called previously, the customer service here is fantastic! The advocates are active listeners, engaging, and a pleasure to deal with. Because of my positive customer service experiences with access one I never hesitate to call them with the slightest question or need for help.

Around December 2021, I entered into an agreement with this company. Shortly, after I place a call a few day ago and was prompt to give the first three digits of my SS# and DOB as two identifiers. After, I declined to do so this “unprofessional “ employee continued to press me with information that absolutely, made me uncomfortable. On today finally I received a call from a supervisor that would listen to my concerns in reference to their customer service satisfaction. I found out that this was a new employee that engaged in conversation with me However, she allegedly wasn’t trained adequately enough to perform her duties properly . I was so disappointed with how she refused and disregarded me as a client. “ When a customer states he or she doesn’t want to provide personal information that makes them feel a certain way , then ultimately it should be taken into consideration.” However, she is not to blame her training is! Secondly, her supervisor was know better, she treated me the same way. The call to her was a waste of my patience and time . Inadvertently, they both called me a liar ! My situation, was this : I opted into “ Bill Pay through my Bank Institution to pay this business account accordingly. I was told they received the payment late. When I told the representative I would be contacting my bank it didn’t make a difference. I was informed differently from my bank after the call ended. I went to my banking app and told her the exact timeframe when the check was delivered. Even so, I was able to tell this representative the delivery date ect. The payment was due January 19 and the payment check was sent by my institution on January 7. They claim the check receivable was January 24, 2022. Therefore, this is when she accused me of not being truthful. She just didn’t believe me ! I was charged financial charges and late fees. Apparently, after I wasn’t going to except her disrespectful behavior towards me she decided to waive all fees. I will not be responsible for the mail system delivery! I only can be accountable to what I implemented to Access One. Another, payment I decided to authorize through my bank which will be delivered on February 07, 2022 . All information and confirmation was given to another representative for this second transaction. If this pans out to happen to me again and I am accuse further, then I will cancel this service with Access One . The company in my opinion, wants their clients to used their approved payment options. People have the rights to pick and choose what is convenient for them. As long as you are doing what is right for yourself and the other party then that’s all what matters! I believe they should implement and change their policies to serve their customers better for those that may need to use this service. However, no one should be made to feel uncomfortable 😳and mistreated by know means from any business! Thank you !!!

I learned about Access One's service through my hospital where I had a substantial bill. After contacting them, they explained to me that I could setup a payment plan with them without going through a credit check, without signing away my first born, and without much hassle at all. The payment plan could extend for 12 months with no interest at all. After I called them and arranged this, the setup and creation of my payment plan was painless, their patient advocate that I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful, and the entire process was incredible. I cannot say enough about the Access One program and how supportive, reasonable, and considerate it is. Nor can I say enough about how incredibly understanding, friendly and reasonable their customer service or patient advocates are. I have had several phone interactions with them, and each time I ended the call I felt relieved and happy that I had engaged with them. It is rare that this type of service and support is available for free from a billing company but that is exactly what Access One provides. I can't recommend them enough and if you are considering contacting them, do so, you won't be disappointed!

This was a mess!!!! I was offered to make payments and I explained that I had a pre-paid medical card to use to pay my bill. They assured me that they accepted it but couldn't "Load" my payment into the systems for 3 business days. I get my bill the next cycle and I have $60 of fees and interest. I call and try to pay and my pre-loaded medical card won't work because this is a loan now, not a medical debt anymore. By the time I paid it off (the next billing cycle,) my bill had gone up again.

Access One made it easier for my husband to see his Dr., especially because he has no medical insurance. This way we can be on a easy, no worries, payment plan. They are flexible, you can choose your own plan that works best for you and your situation. If I could rate it more stars, I totally would!
