Used these fine folks for the mortgage on our home purchase. What an extraordinary team! Liz did a great job communicating what we needed to clear conditions. Our loan officer Mark was extremely knowledgeable. Sarah was so welcoming and personable. Eric the owner has assembled a great team and made sure we felt like family. As a self employed borrower I was real nervous about the documentation I’d need to prove my income, this group kept us at ease and had us from application to clear to close in 11 days. We had an excellent experience with Eric Schroeder and his office staff. A house came up for sale which wouldn’t accept a contingency. Our realtor suggested Eric at Mortgage Capital Group in Crystal Lake and we called and explained the situation. I have enjoyed working with Eric and his staff on multiple occasions. Each time his staff has put together a competitive mortgage in a timely fashion. None of the last minute requests for additional documentation or the need to request an extension as has happened to friends using other brokerage houses. Everyone on the Mortage Capital team did an amazing job helping me sort out the mortgage for my first home. Very responsive and knowledgeable which helped a lot in the stress of buying a house. Eric and his team are amazing! I used Eric 11 years ago when my wife and I purchased our new home.
