    My experience with Modern Nissan was absolutely great and easy going! We were able to purchase the car the same night we visited. Maria Rivera was super friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful through every step of the way to get my new 2022 Nissan Sentra. Being that she has the same car, she was ably to give us reassurance and answer any concerns. She was able to explain everything very well to my parents from start to finish who only speak Spanish and satisfy all the questions we had. The approval and purchase process was simple and the team even gave us an additional care package. Her care was very appreciated as it went far beyond just being at the dealership! This was our first time here but we’ll definitely be a returning customer for my younger brother!

    The experience that I had when purchasing my Nissan Rogue at Modern Nissan of Winston Salem was nothing short of Amazing! The sales manager Eric Escobar & the Finance person David Hamilton made buying my car a very pleasant & easy transaction. They were more than fair with my trade amount & the financing offered was better than I could’ve gotten anywhere for a used car. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a New or Used Nissan & I will be returning to them for my future Nissan purchases!

    Chris and Nick were awesome! Chris turned a terrible experience with another dealer into an awesome experience. He found my truck in 6 hours and Nick made picking up the truck smooth as silk. David was fantastic too. I didnt want a warranty at all because of the extra cost but after talking through it, i can to realize the importance!

    I would have said great until recently. Now, I take some ownership because I didn’t stay on them daily about my second key for certified used vehicle I purchased last year (not yet 12 months). I did follow up more than once but you know, that’s not something I thought about daily. Well just recently I thought about it again. So since last week I have been back and forth about a key that they know I didn’t get. Now for a company that makes over 10 million a year, how hard would it be to give me what I should’ve been been issued to start with. What I was told by General Sales manager (Eric Escobar) was “I CANNOT”. Wow it’s not that you “CANNOT”. It’s “I WILL NOT”. I can say more about today as who was present and walked away. Just like when I asked about new tires, they say was plenty tread. I went and bought me 4 brand new tires from Fire Stone. I said this to say, it’s not about the money it’s the principle at this point. I will be contacting Robert and Fred next. Funny thing, my sister was about to trade her car there but guess what NOT!! For those in business negativity travels faster than positivity. Sad but true. Just make sure you stay on them if you don’t get everything before giving them a check!!!!

    Today was my first time coming to Nissan and buying a car for the first time at this location. I traded in a 2007 Chrysler Sebring and walked out with a 2020 Hyundai Elantra. Excellent condition and just amazing. Nick Restrepo and Manager David Hamilton were very friendly and helped me out with finding the right car that fits my budget and credit. They did an excellent job for my first time here and I feel like these two are perfect examples of open arms in an uplifting environment. I couldnt ask for more and I'm definitely gonna stick with this dealership for a very long time now thanks to these wonderful people. Thanks again!

    I would not recommend Modern Nissan service department. I have never been gouged like this in my entire life. I received the quote below today from Ralph Lusk. Refuse to do business here. $8,900 FOR PRE-OWNED ENGINE AND $14,600 FOR NEW ENGINE INSTALLED AND INCLUDES TAX.

    They stole my time and money; I left my car for service to fix two particular problem. After an inspection, they called me and ask permission to replace some parts. What do you expect, after replacements, your problems would be fixed. Today my car has the same problems as before i had my car serviced. And their manager said to me " leave your car here after a inspection we will call you". When I asked, if you want to replace some parts and get paid, do you guarantee you will solve the problem. He said no,it is possible to replace some parts again and NOT SOLVE your problem. In my opinion, they just want to sell you a auto parts, don't care about your car.

    Derek Bordner, "our" personal Service Advisor greeted me with a huge smile, as always, upon our arrival. We stood by the car and talked about work, family, and life in general, much like family. As a matter of fact, for over four years now, my wife and I have truly experienced being a part of the Modern family--experiencing "the Modern difference" as the commercials urge. Derek had told me in advance of the anticipated "wait-time" for my service and then connected me with Tori who reserved a rental car for me even though the availability of rental cars is scarce at this time. Modern takes excellent care of us in every possible way from sales, to finance options, and service--especially their customer service. I think they should call it "family service." Upon returning our rental and picking up our car, I stopped by the showroom to visit with our sales professional, Anthony Coles. He is such a joy to talk with! He is like the Energizer Bunny with his enthusiasm regarding relationships. He, like Derek, Tori, and the rest of the Modern team take the dread out of visiting the dealership. Thank you Modern for your professional attitude which extends far beyond the sale and into our hearts as a customer.

    Worked closely with Del Carlos in your sales department on buying my new 21 Rogue SV. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and personable even through the system being down the day I went to purchase. They had to do everything by hand the "old-school" way and he was very apologetic and still managed to get me in and out in a fair time. Miguel in your new car sales was also very kind, and offered to compare rates for me on my loan to ensure I was getting the best deal. Overall great experience and will send friends and family back for sure. Also love my Rogue!!

    We purchased a 2017 Nissan Altima in January 2022 drove it 160 miles and the check engine light came on, code said powertrain (transmission). After several days the dealership agreed to replace transmission as long as we paid $1,500 out of pocket. After picking the car up from getting it fixed, I noticed floor mats in the trunk of the car we’re gone, now I don’t even wanna return to the dealership to get the things they promised (windshield fixed, and window tent)done.

    Purchased my second vehicle from Modern over the weekend. Last year I purchased a certified preowned Rogue SL and had such an excellent experience with them I decided to pay them another visit. I purchased my first new vehicle, a loaded 2021 Nissan Rogue and I could not be happier. My salesman, James Thomas and his team at Modern did everything in their power to get me a great deal on my new vehicle. I was able to trade in my previous rogue and got a beautiful upgrade!     I want to give a huge SHOUT OUT to Maria. She was pleasant, prompt, and professional on the phone Monday evening. Took a 3 minute walk through video of the Yukon XL and sent it to me before I even woke up Tuesday morning. Reserved the car for me to test drive after work on Tuesday afternoon. Delivered it to my house Wednesday at 5pm after I got off work to save me an hour trip to Winston-Salem. No long back and forth conversations of negotiating like every other experience I've had with buying cars, this was simple the BEST experience of car buying I've ever had!!     I called on a Monday to get a price for 60000 mile service on my vehicle. The customer service rep couldn't tell me what all was needed, so I asked her to quote me oil change, tire rotation and transmission flush. She told me the price was roughly about $280 and the total with fees should be a bit over $300. I thought that was very reasonable and had her schedule an appointment for the following day. I took half a day's vacation and drove 50 minutes from southeast Greensboro. I waited about 20 minutes in line be checked in, causing me to be 10 minutes late for my appointment time. I was taken into an office to go over the services to be performed and the guy had over $950 worth of "recommended services for 60000 miles" displayed on his computer. I declined everything but the services I requested the day before. The new displayed price was over $450. I explained about the quoted price and he said that the people answering phones are for the entire Modern network and don't know the specifics of each dealership. I spoke with the service manager before leaving and he said he would speak with the team to ensure that they supply more accurate info in the future. I left without any services being done and no sincere apology.

    Stopped just to inquire about a 40th anniversary edition Maxima. There wasn't one on the lot but they found one in Tennessee and went and picked it up the next day just for me to test drive. There were no promises given that I would purchase the car. After test driving it, and some conversation between the salesman, sales manager and myself, I drove the car home. They are very helpful and professional. I love my car and I love the fact that it's the only one in our county. It is an elusive ride that other Nissan dealerships said they couldn't find for me but Modern went above and beyond to put me in my choice car. Thank you guys.

    My car was done with the service and no one let me know it was done. It was parked in the area that’s ready and done with the service. 25 minutes later I had to ask why I wasn’t told it was ready and he wanted to say it wasn’t when I can clearly see it in the parking area when service is done. Always had good service at Modern Nissan but this one was a slight flop.

    Scheduled my car to get serviced, the soonest appointment they had was three days away. Took time off of work to take them my car only for them to tell me that it can take up to 2 days to diagnose my car and that they did not have any technicians available the day of my appointment. I will not be bringing my vehicle back, they really need to get it together. Terrible customer service, extreme lack of consideration for the inconveniences caused.

    Ralph Lusk was extremely helpful he actually noticed my car needed to be inspected and promptly made sure that I was taken care of as well as helping my fiancé and I find a DMV facility close by so we could update our registration.     Modern Nissan earned my respect and my business. They plugged a leak in a tire and replaced my gel battery. Ralph Lusk was very clear in educating me on the services needed for my Nissan Rogue Sport. He was calm and professional throughout the whole process. Never felt pressured by him. Ralph went the extra mile on Christmas Eve to make sure the warranty on my battery was approved so that it would be replaced free of charge. The service team was quick and efficient. Every employee I spoke with was friendly and helpful, including Sales and leasing consultant Anthony Coles. The facility was clean. I highly recommend coming to Modern Nissan.

    I have to say that I was extremely hesitant about buying from a dealership based on past experiences. As luck would have it Del-Carlos Harrington was my sales person and I was so pleasantly surprised. He is a consummate professional, knows his job inside and out and truly goes above and beyond to make the experience a positive one. I can only speak for myself, but high pressure tactics do not work for me. Someone following me around and breathing down my neck make me leave. Mr Harrington was respectful when I told him that I had a strict budget to adhere to. I highly recommend seeking him out should you be in the market for a vehicle.

    I scheduled an oil change and asked to have my A/C checked, as it doesn’t blow cold air, and have my trailer plug in checked due to the lights on my trailer not coming on. When I arrived for my appointment I was informed that I’d have to leave my truck for a couple of days so they could do diagnostics. I wasn’t told I’d have to leave my truck when I initially scheduled it and therefore didn’t coordinate transportation.

    Maria Paula, Eric, Reginald, and Miguel were such a helpful and compassionate team to work with. I was involved in a bad accident with my 2017 Nissan Rogue (which saved our lives) and knew I had to purchase a new vehicle, same make and model for its safety features.     I recently visited Modern Nissan for and Oil Change and Inspection. Bow Tie Brandon was my service advisor. I had A LOT OF QUESTIONS and he answered all of them. He educated me on what all I needed done and what you all recommended based on mileage. This experience was hands down the best I’ve ever had.     My husband and I bought a Nissan Titan truck at this dealership this week and we happily give them five stars!!! We were treated special and things were handled quickly and efficiently. Daniel Ceballos handled the sale of the truck with friendliness and answered all of our questions with expert knowledge of his product. Steve Cunningham handled the financial aspect and was very well trained in his field. Fun to talk to, too! Erick Ecsobar dropped by to meet us and was very nice.     It was an extremely hot day when my husband and I decided to go to Winston Salem to "look" at new cars and see what was available. At some dealerships, we didn't even get out of our vehicle. Other dealerships we did get out, but no sales person offered to help us. Due to the route we took, Modern Nissan was the 7th and final dealership we was going to stop at on our way back home. We did get out to look and was approached by a "lot person" in a decent amount of time after arriving. At that time we did not have any questions. Once we made the decision we were actually interested in speaking with a sales person, we went inside. We were welcomed immediately and offered assistance. All of the staff was extremely nice to us. Joe Shaw, who was our salesman, was very patient with us and done everything possible to help us decide between the two cars we was interested in. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I found out later he actually was working with another customer at the same time as us, but somehow Joe managed to be there every second we needed him to be. Our financing paperwork was explained in great detail and in a timely fashion by Steve Cunningham. I would also like to mention Erick Escobar, the General Sales Manager, who bought us a drink from the vending machine with his own money because they was out of water to offer the customers. Erick was extremely nice and made sure we was comfortable during this whole process. I am happy to say this is the most pleasurable car buying experience I have ever had! Thumbs up to all the employees of Modern Nissan of Winston Salem. I will be back!

    On arrival to my appointment I was greeted by my service writer and manager. I was advised as to what my car needed to have done this visit and approximately how long it would take for the work to be completed. I was then taken to the waiting area while my car was being serviced, there was refreshments available as I waited and a tv available for viewing. My representative kept me updated and when my car was done he came to the area where I sat a promptly assisted me to my car. It was an enjoyable experience without any surprises or hassles. I definitely will be back for my car needs.

    Brandon R. the service advisor was the absolute best! I took my car in for a diagnostic test and when the results came back he explained EVERYTHING. I’ve never experienced this type of customer service at a car dealership. He was awesome, and made sure I was satisfied and it’s a must that I say Modern Nissan has one heck of an employee on their hands. Plus his bow ties are very dapper. Thank you for a great experience and putting me in a loaner vehicle while my car is getting some work done to it. Keep up the good work. That 45 minute drive from Statesville was absolutely worth it.     Sent in a lead for a new vehicle. Told me only way to buy it was for me to come in to get a price and agree on it. Would not give me availability or a price on the phone.     Very disappointed in Modern Nissan in Winston Salem. I paid a $500 deposit on a truck to "hold it and give me first choice of refusal" which the sales person told me would be delivered in 5 days..... now no truck and when I called the dealership to tell them I located another truck, at another dealership, the lady told me the $500 to hold the truck was non refundable... well, that was never stated up front and I have never signed an "agreement" or official document where they told me that. I have purchased from Modern in the past, but will not again. Very poor customer care in my humble opinion and a poor business practice to essentially "steal" money from the consumer... Choose wisely.. if the dealer acts in this manner, that is their true colors. Update: Modern Nissan GM called and stated they would provide a refund and confirmed any deposit is essentially free money for them; so be careful if you make a deposit to hold a vehicle. I'm not sure that not explaining their policies and doing this over the phone is the best way to do business for them, but that is not my decision. I do appreciate the refund of my funds however!

    I am 76 years old. I met Carlos Harrington, my sales rep, and discussed my special need for a new car that would accommodate transporting my husband who was in the hospital after a long illness. At the time the car I selected was not available. When the car became available it was the day my husband was discharged from the hospital. Carlos handled EVERYTHING for me at my home. He could not have been more respectful of my situation. He was professional, kind and most courteous. Had it not been for his excellent service, I would not have considered purchasing a new car on such a stressful day. Since then, Carlos has made repeated trips to assist me with paperwork and also help me learn features on my new car. Because of this excellent service from Carlos, I highly recommend this dealership!

    If I could give this place zero stars that’s exactly what they would get and it’s well deserved. My 78-year-old father-in-law went and purchased a vehicle without my knowledge and I am his financial power of attorney. We called the next morning to cancel the transaction and tell them he would not be picking up the car. The New Car Manager, Miguel Lara, assured us that the contract and loan application would not go through. After we hung up we decided that we may need something in writing to put with the original paperwork. We called back and asked Mr. Lara to provide that and he said he could not. When I pressed it further he said this would not be provided and hung up. I called back and asked for his supervisor and got Erick Escobar. Mr. Escobar also declined to send an email or a letter stating that this transaction would be voided and would not proceed. I didn’t ask them to write a 246 page dissertation on the matter. I asked for a simple one to three sentence email. Please be wary of this business. They were very quick to allow my 78-year-old father-in-law to sign paperwork to get into the deal but refused to provide proof that the deal would be voided. Seems a little sketchy to me. My lesson learned from this? Keep a closer eye on my father-in-law and stay away from modern Nissan.

    You couldn’t pay me to buy a vehicle from this facility. I gave my phone number to view the price of a vehicle on the lot and Ashley W. Called me every day twice a day for three weeks. On three different occasions when I answered she immediately hung up, when I voiced my opinion on the frequency of the calls she immediately hung up on me. Unprofessional as ever.

    The person I was on the phone with to schedule the work had an attitude. It took a long time to get help when I got there and pulled under the carport and there definitely could have been better practices with check in. Aside from that, the experience was great. The rental car was perfect. The work was done quickly and right. The quotes I got for other services were on the high end of normal.

    Man if i could give six stars I would have. This experience was really cool. Second time in the past 4 months my wife and I have purchased a car. Both from Modern. Her car was from Modern Infinity in Greensboro. I purchased my truck from Nick Restrepo at Modern Nissan in Winston. I showed up early on Labor Day. The vehicle wasn't sitting in the lot, like the wonderful world wide web had said it would be. Nick met me at the door before they even opened. I told him what I was looking for, and he had to do some checking. He found the vehicle at Modern Toyota. Modern had recently acquired it, and it wasn't yet available for purchase. We did some paper work so I could tie it down until it was ready to purchase. The Truck needed a little TLC. I asked that Modern replace the bumper since it had a crack in it. Nick agreed and said he would get the bumper replaced and get the truck detailed and I would be ready. Well Modern not only replaced the Bumper, but they also put four new tires on it, replaced the shocks and struts, and gave it one heck of a detailing. Nick thank you so much for the hard work. I love the truck. This is my second Frontier. First one I got 330,000 miles on. I will be back. Do yourselves a favor and go Visit Nick at Modern in Winston. Thanks Modern and Thank you Nick.

    Amazing customer service! I went in clueless as to which car I wanted and Maria Paula did an excellent job guiding me the entire way and giving me plenty of options (within my price range) to pick from! She allowed me to test drive and I couldn't have done it without her help! I love my Altima!! she even went out of her way to lay a red carpet leading to the drivers door after purchasing my car! Even after my purchase, she followed up with me making sure that everything was good with my car! Now that's what you call a great salesperson!! :)) She definitely made me feel welcomed every step of the way.

    I cannot say anything negative about my experience here. Daniel Ceballos and Miguel Lara were especially welcoming, and they worked hard to get me into a nicer, newer ride than I expected with better financing terms than my credit union offered. My boyfriend recently purchased a vehicle from a different Modern location, and I must say, we are now Modern customers for life! They take the "dread" out of visiting a car dealership!

    Lynly was amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted. I was upfront that I would most likely not be purchasing a car same day, that did not change the level of service that I received. The first car she picked for me to drive was exactly what I wanted. I ended up leaving with the car that day thanks to the deal she was able to get me. Not once did I feel pressured to buy. The financing process was also super smooth. Steven was very personable and knowledgeable. He was the cherry on top of an amazing buying experience. I highly recommend Modern Nissan.

    Parking lot sucks but the people that work there are amazing! Went in with a set monthly payment and somehow Nick Restrepo made it possible!     Finally getting around to writing this review. Brandon Rubeck--one of the attendants at this station, a station that I've used for over a decade with impeccable service--and I have a long and stained history. Despite this, he set aside that pain and gave precise and professional care to my vehicle with explicit attention to detail. He ensured I wouldn't soon crash with a broken axle, and even took my coupon when he didn't have to. Such professionalism and quality care is undoubtedly worthy of a full five stars. This facility goes above and beyond to take care of its customers, and while I remain in this state, I wouldn't trust my vehicles maintenance with anyone else.

    I had a fantastic experience at Modern Nissan of Winston Salem. From sales to financing to the follow-up care. I firmly believe in women supporting women and put my money where my mouth was. I was having anxiety with such large a purchase and making sure I got the right car for me. I was assisted by Maria in finding the right car at the right price. Maria was patient, friendly, relaxed, and personable. Maria put me right at ease and her questions were thoughtful and probing. The one question that struck me was what was my dream car? We talked about the cars and the features and narrowed it down to the Rouge and from there we were talking remote start and upgrades and even what color I dreamed about. I got it all. Maria is who you want if you want white-glove service. She made the difference. I will be purchasing from her again. Would recommend Maria and subsequently Modern Nissan of Winston Salem.

    I was shown to a clean and socially distance prepared waiting area. I was kept informed of the work progress. I needed a part and my service manager located it at their warehouse and offered to get and install it if I had time. He also noticed that my car was due for inspection in July. He mentioned that it could be done 2 months early and said they could do it while I was there that day & it would save me an additional trip. I am very impressed with their service❣️

    Parts Dept was helpful on day after Christmas. I wanted original equipment and expected to pay dealer prices. They had what I needed. Their battery (style 24F for Nissan Frontier) was made by Interstate and was not any higher in price than any other parts store and was a little better quality (amps and CCA).

    The people working in the service department are very nice and personable. I was given a 2 hour window for my car to be ready and it was done in about 1.25 hours. I was approximately 50 miles from needing an oil change and the technician suggested that I get it done while I was there. I had forgotten that I receive free oil changes there, so it was a pleasant surprise not being charged for it. Modern Nissan is my "go-to" place for service.

    We have used this dealer for our last 3 cars and the service has gotten worse. We will never go through them again. We recently bought a certified preowned car and we started having issues 2-3 months later. The car is still covered under the factory warranty and they refused to fix the issue but stated if the car wasn't under the warranty they would. This is the most twisted dealership I have ever worked with and we will no longer buy anymore cars with them. The "deal" they gave us on the car as well was an awful deal and we actually lost more money going through them.

    I returned because there was a recall on my car and the part (that was ordered) had came in. I received a call, and an appointment was set up for me. Upon arrival I was told it would be finished around noon, but they were fast, I think everything was finished around 10:30a so I had no complaints. Very nice, and fast experience.

    We originally went to see a pre-owned Subaru but upon arriving realized we did not want it. We were lucky to get Maria Rivera as our saleswoman and once she realized we weren't interested, she immediately diverted our attention to a comparable Nissan.     I have been coming here for the last four years. Today is my last visit! There have been more times than not that there is always an issue. I made an appointment over a month ago for a repair. I brought my car in at 8:05. I was told the job would take between 4-6 hours. I am thankful I had a friend come and get me and bring me back. It was 5:15 when my was finished! My patience is done. I will not be returning!

    The staff presented with a very caring attitude that was very different from other dealerships. They did not appear as if there were just there to take you money like some other dealerships (Hall Nissan of Chesapeake).     Compared to other dealers I have interacted with in the Triad area Modern Nissan in Winston was without a doubt the best experience I had.     Went to Modern Nissan to have my 2019 armada checked for a battery drain. Rather than do a VIN check for recalls, they offered me a diagnostics option that would have taken a long time and cost a lot of money. I got an oil change and tire rotation and went home. Found a recall code online from March of 2020 that addresses an issue with the on board VVT computer not shutting down when the car is off. A simple one hour reprogramming would have solved my problem. Went to a different location to get this done and all good now.

    Had to replace a wheel on my 2017 Nissan Rogue in January 2020. With the replacement, I also had to switch over the tire pressure monitoring system from the old wheel after the consistent badgering from the service advisor. April 2020, the TPMS won't relay to the computer. Brought the vehicle up to the service center only to be told that if it was the fault of the service department, it would have shown up defective immediately, not 3 months later. Explained that I paid the same amount for the wheel and labor to get the new wheel placed on the vehicle in January and didn't think that I should pay for the replacement of the same item 3 months later. I understand that it should show up immediately if the dealership is at fault, however 3 months after the replacement is still relatively new. I do not even know where the tire pressure monitoring sensor is to look at it myself. Was advised that the labor "overlap" could be taken off of the price (equal to about $15), which frankly it not much when having to drive 30 minutes away to deal with a problem of this. Was also told that I was "recommended" in January about a battery replacement for the system and I was NEVER recommended such a part. Left very angry from the service center without the problem being fixed. Did not feel like a valued customer and felt like money was just owed for a problem out of my hands. Will not and do not suggest working with this dealership. Would give a 0 out 5 if possible for feeling like an idiot.
