Midland States Bank State Hwy, O'fallon

Will never in my life get a mortgage loan with Midland states bank ever again after the experience I’ve had with two incompetent individuals in THIS location. Clearly people here don’t earn their titles as supervisors because they’ve earned it. They get it by “knowing someone.”

Looking to get a mortgage? DO NOT use this bank. They are terrible and will mess up at every turn!!! From beginning to end they did not know what they were doing, they thought that they were above TRID and HUD guidelines, almost messed the transaction up for the buyers. If you want to close on your transaction on time I would stay away from Midland State Bank.

Pretty disappointed with Mike at Midland and the mortgage. He quoted me the same closing date as another lender along with being over 1k cheaper. Closing happend multiple days later and the cost was double what he said he could do. He blamed it on the title company and builder and they of course blamed it on him. Never got any type of compensation for the mess. Rates were great. Maybe if you start the process with them, could be smoother I guess.

Mark Widdicome is an awesome guy! He walked us through the process and helped us tremendously. It's easier to complain than complement. Some things are out of their hands but they always put their best foot forward!! Mary Kay, Megan and Mark the dream team!!!
