Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union Route, Middletown

This bank has made the Auto Loan process close to impossible. Every day they need something new from me and it has taken over a week to get a simple auto loan. Why not ask for all information and lay out clear guidelines from the start? They do not value their customers time or money. This would've been a one star review, but after a WEEK of back and forth, I finally received the loan. One last gripe is that they would not pay the auto dealership directly, so I had to wait even longer for them to cut me a check to bring to the dealership myself. I will NOT use MHVFCU for anything else after this loan is closed and I suggest you do the same.

I have had the pleasure of being serve by a customer service representative name Denise Romero who was amazing and caring about all my financial needs. She was a breath of fresh air in dealing with bank representatives and the amount of time she spent working with me until every issue was resolved. Denise Romero is highly recommended by me for anyone who visits the Middletown branch. She is highly knowledgeable and professional along with a pleasant personality.😇

For the last several years I have relied on the team at MHVFCU Middletown for all of my banking needs. I'm a business owner, have taken out loans and hold my personal accounts there as well. As of recent I have had more than a few situations where I've needed the help of the manager and her expertise to help resolve these situations. Denise Romero is, in my opinion, a prime example of what a Banking Professional truly is. I will proudly recommend this credit union to everyone I know because of Denise. I have been banking here for years and this is my second review Denise Romero is very pleasant and a happy person. Anytime, I come here she helps me out, she goes above and beyond. I really enjoy coming to the Middletown Branch. I have been doing it for the last 8 years and I wouldn’t want to do my banking anywhere else. The whole staff is extremely friendly. And Dee is one my favorites. I would recommend anyone to bank there.

Something is wrong with this place. I have an account at this bank and went in today to find out about a cash advance and before I can finish speaking, I was shut down by the teller in the bank. All I heard was we don't affiliated with no other bank and cash advance is $50 which the other teller had to correct her and told her no its $500. No interest in helping me whatsoever. I know what I have to do take my business somewhere else. This is not the way to run a business knowing that there are just to many competitors.

Denise Quinn in the mortgage department went above and beyond to assist and getting my mortgage and helping me to close just in time. She was really understanding , helpful it was a pleasure working with her i am very grateful for her assistance and kindness.

I had a frustrating experience with my bank account and I was unhappy. I eventually received a call from Denise who was concerned about a past review I mentioned. She completely helped me 100% I definitely am satisfied with the bank any type of error that I might have in the future, I know will be taken care of it was great to know that My bad experience was addressed. I personally received a call from her she wanted to make sure that I was satisfied I definitely would recommend this bank especially the one in Middletown. Denise was a great help, she gave me her extension. If I happen to have a problem I can give her a call and speak to her directly instead of calling the call center.

I am a retired veteran and would like to update on my bad experience I had the other day at the Middletown branch. The owner called me, and apologized for the way I was treated and I am extremely humble and felt better after speaking to the owner. Thank you Denise for your understanding. Banking here is like a VIP banking experience! Brianna went above and beyond to help me retrieve a document. So grateful to have this Middletown branch as everyone there is very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant.

I have been with this Credit Union for over 30 yrs. since the time of DOT Federal CU. and now MHVFCU. I can not overstate how impressed and pleased I am with the level of service they provide. The competence & professionalism of all their representatives I’ve dealt with have been stellar with the handling of all my accounts, no matter what the issue or requests. Everyone is always very pleasant and eager to help any way they can. Overall it’s been an absolute pleasure conducting my business at this bank.

My MHFCU location is the Middletown Branch. I want to give 5 stars to this location/branch as the Branch Manager Ms. Romero provides exceptional customer service. Ms. Romero responded expeditiously and professionally to many of my inquiries and.concerns...Ms Romero interacted with me on a personal level while maintaining professionalism and quality customer service at all times... Ms. Romero solved my issues and always expressed her main objective and concern is always customer satisfaction and a satisfied customer I am. It is for these reason I give this Branch 5 stars. I hope the quality of service Ms. Romero provides to her customers is the same quality and value she receives within her role as Branch Manager because she is certainly deserving of such.
