Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union 23 Mile Rd, Shelby Township

I love this bank. I’ve been a member for about 10 years now, and at this branch everyone is super nice and friendly and the branch manager remembers who I am and always asks about my family. A bank with no dumb fees where they treat you like family. Highly recommend to everyone. Also they’ve got some pretty awesome complimentary coffee.

Terrible experience! Needed change for a charity golf outing and this place would not help. Would never bank with them or recommend them. Terrible service. Next time maybe you could get a new client if you treated people right. I'm a multi millionaire fyi.

Best place i have banked at but its everything else they do that makes them number one in my book!!! the staff is more than willing to go the extra distance in helping and getting u to the start of whatever ur tring to get into. i had trouble getting a loan on a bike. I tried the garaunteed approvals at the used bike shops which was pointless. I tried getting a loan threw a diffrent credit union who i was banking threw and they just didnt care enough and i lost three bikes that were priced more apropriatly than the one i got. I walked into michigan schools and gov they not only got me the loan for the same style bike but twice as much i also walked out with a credit card and my loan agent whent as far as tring to get me better insurence rates and helped me tri to talk the price down. I began banking with them also that day and now banking has been great. if your not already banking with them then try em out and lose the stress gain the comfort of a team this great working for u. I work hard for my money and they work hard to maximize my effeciantcy with it. Thank you michigan schools and gov. Team your the best

Absolutely the best place for your money! They have been phenomenal for years. I wish every cent I owned and owed was with this branch. They have helped me with numerous lines of credit, vehicle purchases, RV purchase, and now are even working with my kids on car loans. Only issue I have is they need some branches further north because I moved! Almont would be superb!

All I need is the phone number to the branch because I think I may have lost my ID there. But Ive been on hold for over 15 min now because everything goes to a call center and the live chat says nobody can help me even though I'm #1 in line. Definitely not the kind of customer service I'm interested in. I figured I would call back and try the bill pay dept bc they would answer but nope still on hold for a total of 21 min and still no help. Ridiculous, my SOS appt is in April and it seems like that will come sooner than help from this place.

Slowest bank in history. I can’t understand why these branches always seem like everyday is the first day on the job.
