o Don’t bother going to anyone else! I shopped EVERY competitor exhaustively (major mortgage brokers, banks, credit unions, etc.), and not only did Alex Ibrahim of Michigan First Credit Union beat everyone else on every category (best interest rate, best fees and costs, best terms), he DESTROYED everyone else. In-fact, I was so taken aback that I analyzed Alex’s offer meticulously just to make sure I was reading what I thought I was, since the competition was so far behind. Even if a competitor changed their terms so the interest rate would be close, then they wanted an ARM. If they did a fixed-rate, then the fees were off the charts. Let me quote what one competitor at Quicken Loans told me when I shopped Alex’s numbers against theirs: “If [Alex] is really offering you that rate, those fees, and those terms, then you should go for it. I simply can’t match that.” All that said, even if Alex were lacking in other departments, there would still be no competition – but he wasn’t – he was the whole package; prompt, attentive, informative, and he gives direct answers to direct questions in a timely fashion. When you need to feel like things are being taken care of without hounding your broker, Alex is your guy. Honestly, I just can’t say enough about Alex Ibrahim.
