Members 1st Federal Credit Union Briarsdale Rd, Harrisburg

This credit union is a discredit to the community. It has the worst service. Their people do not know what they are doing. It takes forever to reach them. And they are always making mistakes on my loan account. It is a horrible, horrible place to do business with. Do yourself A favor and find a real bank with competent workers.

The banking institution itself is awesome the physical locations are always busy with super long lines inside, at the drive through, and the atm so expect to spend some times there. The only thing that makes it better is the people that work there are really friendly and they care about their customers. They also have no problem being on your side when something awry happens with your account which gives you definite peace of mind!! I would recommend them!!

We opened our account s during national youth credit union week and got matching deposits up to $25.00. They have punch cards for children who are in the Dollar Dog program. Other activities such as Coloring contests, etc. Great Rates, convenient locations, friendly staff. Their website has an advice section as well as numerous How-To's.

In two attempts, they denied me to give brand new 1 dollars bill for 100. The supervisor wasn't good enough to help their costumer. He just said, they don't have. That's it Even I requested to set an appointment for new bills. He said, he can't do that. shame.

this bank suck they have hiding fees. they are just like any other abusive corporation that is trying to charge you any time they have a chance. my advice is to take your money to a different bank

I have been with them for almost 8 years now. Only had 1 issue which was resolved in an "Ok" manner. The tellers in some locations (not all) are friendly and courteous. They have some antiquated and disgusting policies regarding fees. Such as overdraft fees. You overdraft a couple dollars ($4 as example), and they immediately charge you $37. You have no grace period to correct it or to add funds. The fee is immediately charged. Bank of America for example, allows you until the end of the day to resolve it before you are charged fees. I could understand if it was like $25+, or was sitting overdrawn for like 3+ days. But they charge their fee for $1 overdraw . It is completely asinine for members 1st ( which ironically claims to put members first?) to be unfriendly with its policies towards members... Get with the game Members 1st.

These alleged branch appointments are a joke. If you need access to your money good luck unless you need 10,000. I need a letter from Members 1st the customer service rep that I just interacted with was demeaning. She was kind enough to offer to close my account when I explained I needed a letter to have money sent to PSECU! Normally love Members 1st but how a company responds when there is an actual need for help is very telling. Guess you told me Stacey!

This place is horrible. I have been going to them for three months to cash my checks and then today they want to charge me $5. Ridiculous I will definitely be going to a different bank. Such unfriendly people.

They gave me a worn $50 bill which further deteriorated in my wallet. It was damaged but not mutilated. I tried to exchange it with them and was refused. I closed out all of my accounts with them and will no longer do business with them or recommend them to anyone!

Every visit to this branch is a pleasant experience! Telkers are very friendly always smiling courteous and do their jib very well!
