McKinnon Nissan Price Dr, Clanton

I made an appointment online using the system off their own website. When I didn’t get a call to discuss tires I called and was told the service managers don’t have access to the online system when appointments are made. I got the tires ordered and an amount out the door price. The only service I specifically added was to check the brakes. But when I go to pay, I am told the price was $250 more than I was quoted. The brakes were only checked; so I wonder why. They “Added Service” for an alignment, never calling to authorize the work or anything. Following up with this review - McKinnon Nissan was great and absolutely went above and beyond to correct the issue. The Parts Manager who quoted the tire service apologized and indicated the incorrect invoice and issues related to it. Then the Service Manager calls and explains what happens. There was honest mistakes made in the invoicing from the time the quote was provided to the actual work being completed. Refund in place, and the Service Manager went above and beyond the requirement to refund the difference and offered to take care of my next service appointment. I have now bought and serviced two vehicles from McKinnon in Clanton - a Toyota Camry and my current Nissan Rogue. I will continue to use McKinnon as my preferred dealer as I have always been pleased.

Had a huge leak from my transmission after having it serviced and had to go back. They told me they were going to completely redo the service but had my car brought back in 15 minutes. Then u had to wait nearly 30 minutes for someone to let me get my car back. I don't belive my car was serviced like it should have been. The service tech just told me that I didn't have to worry about paying for it to be redone.

Excellent sales staff. Very comfortable buying experience. Felt that they listened to my needs and didn't pressure me into anything I didn't want like alot of other dealerships tend to do!

I tried to take my vehicle to the Infiniti dealership but they were not accommodating at all. McKinnon Nissan did a wonderful job, they were efficient, and very friendly. I will be bringing my vehicle back in the future.

McKinnon is very close to our house, and with us having a Nissan, it made sense to try them for our vehicle maintenance. Relocating from around Birmingham, we were used to “Dealership Maintenance” being over priced, this is not the case at McKinnon, they are very reasonably priced. They are also fair in dealing with their customers. They worked on one of our vehicles and after having reoccurring issues with what they worked on, they were more than fair in the remedy, even though their original work was very likely not the problem. We will continue to use McKinnon Nissan Service for all our vehicles.

McKinnon done all that that they they wound do without me having to ask them. The salesperson, Chris Hoggard, was great to work with and went beyond my expectations on finding us a car in this crazy car market we’re in right now.

Chris was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and the necessary paperwork. I was treated very professionally and was not pressured to make a decision. For the second time in about two years, I have had a great experience buying a car from McKinnon. I have worked with Chris Hoggard both times. He is professional, helpful, and great to work with. I rarely recommend anything to anyone but would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for help purchasing a car.

Not satisfied. They kept my truck for a week an could not find anything wrong. Once I got home it started not cranking. It is an on\off problem and I understand it is hard to find. They were going to check it several times over the week. When I picked my truck up it was parked on the very far end of the building closer to the Toyota dealership. I don't see anyone walking that far to check my truck. Also they told me an interior light had been fixed but it was not.

I had a wonderful experience at McKinnon Nissan. They had the exact car I wanted with all the features I wanted. I was there for about 2.5 hours and got everything taken care of. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Thank you McKinnon!!! I lOVE my car!!!

Took my Versa in for oil change. Had tires rotated. Car was making a knocking like sound when brakes are applied. Paid to have it diagnosed. They said nothing was wrong, found a small rock. They reset brakes. After driving it back home then driving the next day, I still have a knocking noise. The staff at McKinnon go out of the way to be very helpful. Darla was very helpful in helping me figure out how to use radio with Google maps.

Chris was great and made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. He knew I was buying the car for my son and made sure to include him in the conversations. I have been a loyal Kia owner for many many years but now all of my purchases will go to Nissan and McKinnon Nissan and Chris.

I had an oil change and tire rotation fine. I went there with the intentions to pay, but service manager said I had a free service available. This made my day!!!

I bought a used FJ from them on May 13th, 2021. Financing was handled very quickly and seamlessly for a Saturday. In and out very quickly. The salesman was nice. I drove the vehicle home and noticed lights on the dash that hadn't been there during the test drives. I had someone read the computer codes for me. I immediately texted the salesman pictures of the lights on the dash and the computer code. All of this happened prior to closing. He said he get in touch with me on Monday. The response on Monday from the manager, according to the salesman was that I'd have to take it to a certified mechanic and use my purchased extended warranty to have it fixed. When I took it to the mechanic the next day, he stated that the car lot should fix it without charging my warranty because the purchase was new and the problem was reported the same day of purchase. I contacted the salesman again, told him what was said by the mechanic, and he stated that the general manager still expected me to use my purchased warranty. "That's what warranties are for," was written in a response text.Any other company would have at least looked into the problem before finalizing the paperwork. I would not recommend buying a vehicle of any kind from this establishment because they seem to only care about quickly getting a signature and receiving a check. They don't seem to care what happens to the person in the car they just sold once they leave the lot.

Everything went very well with my trade ins and the purchase of my new Armada. The salesman and the finance person was very nice, cordial and respectful. They listened to all my reasons why I wanted another SUV. I couldn’t have asked for a better team of people to help with the process. “I WAS GRINNING WHEN I LEFT MCKINNON”.

First time using Your dealership. I used it because of low reviews for Jack Ingram Nissan in Montgomery service department. Even though it was further away to use McKinnon. Not impressed. I only had an oil change and tire rotation. After getting home and checking the tire pressure the next day and fluid levels. The tire pressure was off on all tires from 35 on one 35 1/2 on another to 37 on one and 38 1/2 on another. Even though it should be 36 on all. I understand hot tires register higher but consistently over would’ve made sense. Coolant level was at minimum so I had to add some. I had just cleaned my truck so it would’ve been nice if paper mats were used so I would not have to vacuum again. I just moved to the area and was hoping to find a place to take care of my truck and was disappointed.

Myself and my family have purchased several vehicles from both the Nissan and Toyota lots. The folks there are great to work with and a very low pressure buying experience. The follow up service is excellent. If you choose to have your vehicle serviced there, they perform excellent work and do not try to upsale with services that are not needed. You can't go wrong bringing your business here.

My car broke down on interstate and car was towed to McKinnon Nissan. It was late afternoon so service guy drove me to hotel as I had to wait till Monday to have car looked at. I was back on the road by 11am to hook back up with family in Flordia to get going with our vacation. Great service, friendly and helpful people. Highly recommend this dealership.

It was my first there I had my oil changed and had my tires rotated. I also had them put on new wipes blades. It was a positive experience.

Cody was a very good salesman: attentive, but neither pushy nor forceful! He helped me find the car I liked and with which I felt comfortable. Their service department is excellent, and I know my car and I will be well looked after following the purchase .

Warranty work was completed free of charge. It took 6 days for them to diagnose and fix the issues. After sitting there for about a couple hours on the first day I asked for a loaner car while they worked on my truck. There was alot of miscommunication because people had left and managers were gone, but they ended up getting me in a loaner from toyota. All in all i was satisfied with the service and will go back. the mechanic Mitch was awesome.

Started online with the chat assistant that quickly got me in touch with a sales rep. Our sales rep was Dennita Phillips. She is great! We set an appointment for the next morning, a Saturday. We got there about 11:00. She pulled cars up for us to look at and test drive. We traded a travel trailer and a Tacoma pick up for 2 cars. Got a great deal on a new car for myself and a used car for my teenager. In and out in 5 hours with NO pre-approval. That was an amazing start to finish, especially since the used vehicle I wanted to look at was sold before we got there. They found us another one that would work with our budget. It actually turned out to be the better buy. McKinnon sales reps are always amazing and McKinnon always treats us well, and not just sales, their service departments are awesome, too. These were my 4th and 5th vehicle purchases from McKinnon.

Just to start off I fell in love with everything about McKinnon Nissan. I didn’t feel hassled or like they were after a sale they cared about me as a person not just a customer. I reached out about a specific car and they got in contact ASAP. This was the EASIEST car buying process I have ever had and I’m extremely thankful. My salesperson was Tony and he handled everything. His customer service is exceptional. Tony and Cody even went to the extent to deliver the car to me while I was at work. Driving through from north Alabama, collision ⚠️ came on, came back on after we did what we thought would clear it. Arrived at McKinnon Nissan and were cared for by the kind service personnel. We were given cold bottles of water while we waited. A visit to the restroom found it spotless. Even the service area looked like it had been swept and mopped recently. The problem was fixed promptly and we continued on our way. ⭐⭐⭐👍⭐⭐⭐

There were several small issues and a big one with my 2007 Maxima. Jason listened to me and took time ensuring the diagnostic tests were correct. He promptly informed me of the time line and costs. After the repairs were finished he called me on a Saturday morning to let me know I could pick up my car anytime. Everything was fixed to my satisfaction and the costs were reasonable. This is the dealership for me. When I buy my new cars or need other repairs, I will trust McKinnon for their honesty, respectfulness, and great work ethic!
