Mattamy Homes - Randal Park Randal Park Blvd, Orlando

A lot of roof/water leaks in this neighborhood. And I guess the warranty expired before the house was sold. Good luck getting that taken care of. Some neighbors are nice. Some like to hen peck you into submission. Spectrum has better performance here than other neighborhoods. There also is a parking limit on how many vehicles you own. if you are thinking about this prospect, keep that in mind. Overall, looks nice. Enjoyed my visit.

Beautiful homes and a beautiful community! All the people I've come in contact with of Randal park are very friendly and care about their homes. The clubhouse has such a beautiful view of conservation area and a fountain. You can reserve to have parties in the clubhouse for a small fee. Not many people may know that. There is also a splash pad separate from the pool and a sidewalk trail throughout for bike rides. The elementary school is in the front of the neighborhood so that makes it convenient to drop the kids on the way out to work. The traffic isn't that bad. It's one way out and one way in, but police direct traffic which helps it along and helps keep security for kids that walk to school. Community puppies have their own play yard in the middle by the townhouses. Overall very nice place to spend time.

Just built a Mattamy home in Randal Park. Firstly, I have not met a homeowner here who has not had major issues with their house. I’ve had mine painted the wrong color twice, AC units in wrong spot, major issues with the AC units themselves to the point where they told me that they may have to rip out the drywall and fix the lines, house waterline leak, improperly shingled roof which led to a major leak in the upstairs, electrical issues/improper wiring, the yards weren’t graded properly so all the water was draining towards the house, they used the wrong tile and listello...TWICE, and the list goes on. They will try to force you to close soon promising that things will get fixed after you close, which I guarantee you will not happen. They “forgot” to add an entrance to the attic to my neighbors house...hahaha HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? They left nails and construction debris EVERYWHERE leading up to the hurricane, which as you can imagine the residents didn’t appreciate. I have dealt with some of the most shady people in this company. I’ve even seen a boy working on tiling one of the neighber’s houses on the weekends...child labor laws I guess don’t apply?? The only thing that makes living here tolerable at the moment -besides the awesome neighbors that now all have a horrible builder in common (and yes, that is the main conversation starter around here- “hi new neighbor! how badly did Mattamy mess up your house?”)- is my warranty guy, Jose. He’s been on top of cleaning the Mattamy mess....still.....6 months later.....and there are still more problems.

They have great model homes with a lot of options for the upgrades, staff is very helpful and went the extra mile to stay with us to offer the help we need it, I'll recommend if you're trying to buy a house in Randal Park near Lake Nona.

Very nice neighborhood ,school across the street lovely place to live and stay. Staff was excellent and very helpful when buying a home. excellent quality well-built.

Horrible company. Do you not even think about buying from them. The letter to their US President sums up most of the issues. Good Afternoon Mr. Skelly, My name is John D’Amico potential owner of the properly located at 7974 Corckfield Avenue Orlando Fl. 32832. I’m in the process of trying to get a home complete with the organization that you just started your new employment with. I will say that I honestly will say that I never in my imagination thought that I was going to experience the amount of issues and turmoil I’ve dealt with so far with Mattamy. More importantly, the lies, the delay tactics, and the lack of leadership throughout the entire Orlando division has been an extreme disappointment. I honestly would never recommend Mattamy homes to anyone and for the amount of money I’m spending to build this home $445K, I would have expected much better customer service and support. Instead, it has been from my perception, an absolute disaster. To start, I’m now 60 days and counting in a hotel. My family of 4, plus a dog have been residing in a 600 sq ft hotel room that has been plagued with car break-ins, drunk people stumbling down the halls every night, and us living in a relatively unsafe environment. I signed a contract with your company in March of 2018. I was told that the inventory home that I selected will be complete no later than April/May the latest. They were pushing me to sign the contract, was very quick to take my money, and then crickets. I started asking questions right away because it felt like things were not moving on my home. I was met with delay tactics such as “we are looking into it”, “we will get back to you’, etc. etc. The Orlando division used their sales rep as a buffer to me and that was it. To date, we are still dealing with the terrible level of customer service, still in a hotel, and still getting fed the same lies on a daily basis.

I'm having my home build with Mattamy homes. So far the process has been great from the friendly agents to the loan process. My home will be build in February 2018. Looking forward to see how the process works.
