Mariner Finance Meridian Ave E Suite K, Puyallup

It was not good. Employees should know what they are talking about when dealing with loans/money. I have an existing loan here and took out an additional loan. I asked if I needed to make my next payment since refinancing the loan I was told no, that wasn’t the case. Second I was told the amount I was approved for then at closing was told it was $500 less horrible experience . When the loan is paid off I will not due business here again. If could give 0 stars I would.

Liked that I could pick up check same day basically which I didn't know I could do. Only got 500 dollars tho. Didn't like I had to give references although I guess that is understandable when loaning. Also listing assets seemed kind of unnecessary since I have been paying already for idk months. I paid almost as much (~366} as I received recently so was expecting to get more. Didnt like the slightly misleading random adding of a service I thought would be included no charge. I declined. It makes me me feel somewhat limited with what they think I can receive although i think i have much more potential. Got my check and deposited it in my bank and went about my day afterwards. Not really a life changing experience.its 500 bucks.

Terrible company. Do NOT set up on autopay! Was charged $70 of over draft fee’s because changing autopay online 2 weeks prior to due date doesn’t ensure it’s actually changed... staff were unable to resolve that issue in April.. so I ate the $70 no big deal. So I changed the account info over the phone with an employee on 4/2 to ensure it wouldn’t happen again the next month and was ensured it was. On 5/19 - was charged again on my old account AGAIN, and charged another $70 (2 return payment fees by mariner finance). They refunded one of the charges and I have yet to hear back about the second charge. I’ve emailed multiple times and called. It is my sons birthday today and we are cutting it short due to tight budget during Covid & purchasing a home. The manager is super nice, despite my frustration. I did update my stars because of lavinia. I know this is not a reflection of the staff itself - but more so the processing of the autopay with the company. There is no 800 number to call, and you only have a number to an office who is unable to resolve any online or autopay issues. But overall there’s an obvious issue with their system and little to no empathy to resolve. I am paying this loan of ASAP and will NEVER use this company again or refer to anyone.

As soon as i walked in the door i was greeted with nothing but friendliness, i was amazed at how fast i was approved. A shout out to Mariner Finance . They were there to help... once u get a loan from Mariner stay in good grace they up on how much one can get a loan for..Mariner Finance is the greatest!!

They communicate quickly with the customer and the approval process is fast. I pay off my loans early and there are no penalties to do so. By being responsible with my loans I am able to go back and ask for higher limits and they are approved.

Thank you for the help and professional service. Mariner Finance in Puyallup came through when we had an emergency situation and was very easy to get what we needed. Explained everything each step of the way and glad I found you on Google. I want to personally give a shout out to Mrs. De La Cruz (Livinia) for the quick response and everything she does. Working very hard to offer us several different options and having great knowledge. Great customer service and would reccomend to anyone.
