I really liked the place as it was so helpful in a time of need, but it is such a hassle to try and make a payment. This is every single month.. and today I have been on hold for over 20 minutes. Ridiculous!! You would think that they would want their payments on time. There has to be a solution.. until then I will be leaving it at a 1 star. Solution found.. thank you Daniel for helping me get set up with y’all’s new app. Much easier!

All I want is to make my monthly payment without so much hassle. You would think a company would be happy to receive payments from customers on time . Well not Mariner. They don't answer my phone calls. I have to get my daughter to call to make my payments because they don't answer if I call from my number. And how I know they're ducking my number I called back to back 3x. The guy answers on the 3rd call saying Ms James we see you calling we'll call you back. After 45 minutes of not receiving a call back, I called again only to not get a answer again. So I leave a voice-mail. 30 seconds after I leave the message the guy calls me back. Do you know he called me back to check me about the voice mail I left and not about taking my payment.😪 To make a long story short I ended up going up there and still didn't get to make my payment. But I got 2 recordings 🤣

I did my application all online, didn't have to step inside of a brick & mortar location; but it was fast a, thorough and super easy! I would recommend Mariner Finance for anyone's personal loan needs.

Approved my husband for a loan over the phone. When we arrived at the office, the loan officer stated that the approval had been "kicked" out of the system, so he would resubmit the paperwork, and we could pick up our check in the morning. He reassured us that everything was in order. The next morning, the loan officer called and told us that he couldn't give us the loan, even though we qualified and my husband makes more than the amount of the loan within a week and a half. They completely wasted our time, and I would not recommend to anyone.
