Madison Trust is the BEST!!! Every time I call, the customer service rep that handles my call is able to resolve the issue without me having to be transferred several times and repeat my issue over and over. Today I spoke with Sidney J. She was great. She understood my problem. I had called after regular business hour and she contacted her supervisor for assistance and she was able to get the issue resolved immediately. Additionally, Sidney was professional and very friendly. Sidney, like all the other customer service reps are very well trained, friendly and understand the Madison Trust products, policy and procedure.

So far my experience with Madison Trust Co has been very straight-forward and easy. As well, Emil M., took the time to follow-up with me, in regards to some issues I was having and really appreciated it. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to set-up a self-directed IRA.

I had an issue today with a distribution that I needed to make. I called in to the Support team and Madelyn assisted me. She listened to my issue and proceeded to fix MY screw-up! Not only did she fix it but in the process showed empathy and concern for me. She made the correction easy and went the extra mile to ensure that everything else was exactly as i had wanted it! When I see all the positive reviews, I can't believe I was dealing with the same customer service. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Provided bad information. I even been asked to find my own evaluation of precious metals in my account, when they provide me with a quarterly evaluation. I would look elsewhere if you want good service.

This company has had weeks to transfer money for me but seem incapable of finishing the transaction - I have spent so much time on numerous emails, speaking with several staff members, getting different information from each one. This is the worst institution like this who I have ever worked with. I do not recommend them at all. Terrible service and questionable judgement.

I've been a client for 3 years. In that time my service has been satisfactory. However, quarterly fees have gone up almost 60% in that same span. They know that switching legacy IRA custodial services is prohibitively difficult, painstakingly manual, and expensive. Instead of attracting new clients with competitive fees and exceptional service, they are content to gouge existing clients with exorbitant fee increases. While this helps the top line revenue today, it's not a sustainable business practice or a sound strategy for future growth. Don't get stuck with Madison Trust. Demand more from your self directed IRA custodian.

I called a few different companies to chat about a SDIRA. After getting nowhere with any of them, I found Madison Trust Company. Ian Robertson has been fantastic. He patiently answers all of my questions, he picks up the phone when I call, and most of all, he's proactive in my account management. I needed to set up a self-directed IRA for an investment I wanted to make. Madison Trust was recommended, and all has gone very well. They have done exactly what they agreed to do, and they are always responsive on the rare occasions that I need something. I would give them all five stars with two improvements. (1) In order to transfer funds to my bank account, I have to fill out a PDF and submit it to them via a "secure portal" that is separate from the website. I would prefer if the website supported that transaction for a logged in user. (2) At $75 per quarter, the fee seems a little high to me. I might be wrong about that, perhaps it's very competitive. I did not do a lot of comparison shopping. They were recommended; they seemed reputable; and they clearly are.

Madison Trust is a great company to work with if you are considering a self directed IRA. The staff is very professional and always friendly and helpful. Madelyn B. is who I spoke to and she was a peach and very helpful. Took care of my questions and problems with 2 phone calls as I called back needing help with the form she emailed me. Didn't know for sure which boxes to check and she was great. It is nice to talk to a person and not get into the phone menu marry-go-round. I'd give a 5 star but the fees are a little steep it seems. Good service though.

The team has been very supportive to complete a very complex task of opening a trust. Everyone has been helpful and patient while I go through a process that is new to me. One small complaint is that they rarely answer the phone. They do always call back, but waiting on a call back for time sensitive deals makes me a little nervous. I would recommend Madison Trust for trust and self-directed IRA support.

Setting up a Trust is a multi step, multi organization process and has been confusing on my first go. But frankly, I continue to be pleasantly surprised by the depth of knowledge that each rep has about both the legal process and my next steps. They have been prompt to respond to my calls; - then patiently and completely answered my questions. When I chose Madison, I was influenced by the reviews of good service in contrast to other companies in the space. It is true, they give very good service.

Having worked in Private Wealth Management and Prime Brokerage at a bulge-bracket investment bank, I understand white glove client service and broker dealer operations. That said, the people and processes at Madison Trust are top notch. I recently opened a self-directed IRA at Madison Trust to trade crypto on the Eris X platform. The entire account opening process was quick, efficient, and secure. Best of all, each and every fee is spelled out in detail on Madison's website. Skilled and knowledgeable answer the phone when you call them, and they remediate any operational issues quickly and friendly. Special shout out to Samantha. I recently moved my self-directed IRA from a firm in Kentucky to Madison Trust. Talk about night and day! It was easy to set up my account and the process of transferring funds from Kentucky was easy. After the funds were received, I wanted to make two quick investments in real estate partnerships. At the old firm, I think it would have taken 2-3 weeks. It was all accomplished at Madison Trust in 2-3 days! Jennifer L was a great help as were all members of the team.

Love this company. I transferred my Self Directed IRA's to this company and just completed my first investment with Madison. Double fast time in reviewing docs and approving funding of investments. First I sent docs in the evening. The next morning, docs were reviewed and I was informed of missing information. Again, I sent corrected docs in the following evening. i am not sure about this company. i have been with them for about 2 years. their fees are always going up and without explanation or telling you beforehand. in addition, i have been trying for over a week to call and get my distributions out. Calls go to voicemail and are not returned. emails go unanswered. when i log on the system says i have money in my account but i have yet to see it. Customer service needs lots of work in my opinion.

I was anxious because I was concerned that the funds will not be available to buy a rental property in a hot market. Samantha N. from Madison Trust was very helpful, patient and understanding. She followed up with emails and the whole transaction was taken care of successfully in a timely manner. I’m immensely grateful to Samantha. Tip to future SD-IRA customers: ensure to get the correct routing number for wires (maybe different from ACH) from your bank. Verify your correct bank account and don’t rely on the numbers on your check. Follow up with Madison Trust if you don’t find the money in the bank coz something might be incorrect or the wire transfer was rejected.

When you're new to self-directed IRAs you rely on your service providers to guide you through the process. Madison Trust has been on top of their game. Expeditious responses to service requests with security notifications of every move of your money. I uploaded conflicting service requests and I received a phone call to clarify what it was that I needed. After resolving the conflict, John asked whether I had any other questions about my account. It's good to know have an accessable support team handling your account.
