Where to start? Called in wondering if there was a notary on staff .. call got answered as if the person was at her own home ... Asked about the notary and got "be here before 11 because we get busy and I don't know if we could help you" .. we were like OK ... Made it at 10ish ... Branch: empty one person on platform w/o customers and on her phone ... makes eye contact doesn't acknowledge .. places a call to the teller line started speaking french something about a label and who was going to assist us ... So after that rock paper scissors game .. the one that was outside on her phone "decides" to helps us. No hello, no welcome to M&T bank, just a smirk ... Finally, got our paperwork notarized and we are on our way .. coming to realized that she had miss one page where she had to notarized ... Got back to the branch and when I was finaly was able to speak with her .. mentioned that she had missed a page she caught an attitude stating that she had signed where she was supposed to .. well if she had i wouldn't have come back. Long story short not a pleasant experience .. nor would I recommend it. Deplorable customer service.!

Tried to withdraw some cash from tbe ATM and it literally just ate my card.

Went in for a simple wire transfer and I got every excuse as to why they wouldn't complete it for me. They even tried to pawn me off to another branch because they didn't know what they were doing. The "banker" was either incompetent or severely lacking in customer service. My trip to this branch was a complete waste of time.

My experience in this branch today is the worst. I went to the branch and requested a temporary check for my business checking account. I have offered to pay for the cost. Such simple request was rejected. Everyone, including the person who was in charge of the branch, I have talked to were with poker face. Fortunately, I have an account for the same business with NWFCU, and it took me less than 3 min in NWFCU Rockville Branch to get 2 temporary check!

I went to open an account with my husband and they were super friendly. They explain everything about the account and on top of that, they did not rush through the process. I was a banker for eight years and I know how a bank should be run. Thumbs up for me 👍

Don’t pay attention to detail. I dread going to this branch. Have left with incorrect transactions multiple times. Have to ALWAYS double check them. Customer service stinks.

Don’t bother to use their notary service. They don’t know what they are doing.

Not a welcoming experience. Recommend SunTrust.
