Just purchase a 4 year old Loos home. Disappointed in the quality I've seen thus far. I have a piece of particle board flooring that was cracked and instead of replacing the board during construction Loos appears to have braced it with a 2x4. In the attic they have a 2x4 support that looks like a 5 year old cut it and nailed it up, and the Vinyl Plank flooring is unsafe as a number of the planks slide under foot and are warping on the edges. Really expected better from a home 4 years old.

We are building now with the drywall just getting completed. Very easy to work with and have had a good experience so far even with the supply chain shortage causing changes in mid-flight. For the $ it's a good deal and they seem fast to me.

Newly built house. Extremely shoddy construction warped floors to seams sticking up on the flooring. In the house 3 weeks and the only work done is a light bulb in my garage door opener, no driveway, no landscaping stone work not completed electrical work needed the list goes on! Stay away!

Loos Homes built for me twice, 2005 in Jefferson Co and 2015 in Waukesha Co... Both experiences were awesome. Quality, price, and flexibility to my own quirks/desires in house options and service was superb. I was most impressed that the second home building products, processes, options were superior to first. They constantly improved in quality!

This past winter I was noticing condensation on all windows in our Loos built home. I was drying them off every day, sometimes twice, and it was enough to almost soak a bath towel every day. I contacted Loos to get a little advice on how to clear up this issue. Becky provided me with some very helpful tips and my windows have been dry ever since.

We recently built a custom home with Loos and have nothing but great things to say about the entire process & quality of our home. Stephanie, Luke & the entire team we worked with were great. We look forward to lots of memories made in our new beautiful home!

We purchased our brand new home 4/2020. Since we moved in we’ve had our dishwasher leak underneath our cabinets, out onto our kitchen floor (within five days of moving in), a pipe not properly connected to our water heater which caused over 3 inches of water in our basement and a horrible experience with the “grading” of our yard. We are still dealing with Loos regarding the grading, which they claim was done properly. Our backyard is pitched to our home and recently caused flooding out onto the street and sidewalk. They aren’t taking accountability for the yard and stated “we are in the business of homes, not landscaping.” Rather than celebrating our brand new home we are dealing with these disheartening experiences.

Bought the house January 2019 in Lake Mills WI. Our landscaping/ grading of our yard was done wrong from the beginning. After numerous complaints the stated they would "fix the grading". After they did not do what we agreed to I made another call asking why it was not done how it was supposed to me yet again... Well we where told what we did is better for your yard. (They just added seed and more hay) Well first official winter and the snow is melting and yet again our yard is collecting tons of water. SO we are going to have to pay out of our own pocket to fix the mistakes that where made. Multiple houses on our block have had to fix this themselves as well. Last time we talk to them they stated very defensively this is not there problem and they will not assist after they already said they would. We still have yet to have other things fixed that where brought up in the first few months of owning the house, even after numerous emails its hard to get them to help or do anything.

We purchased a home from Loos in 2014. I believe our experience has been good. We purchased the home before the driveway and landscaping was done and the builder and mortgage company struggled to agree on a date that it would be complete. The day of signing wasn’t what it should be because due to the builder and mortgage company not agreeing we didn’t even get the keys to our home until the next business day which we weren’t informed of until after signing all the papers. We had a truck load of boxes that ended up sitting out in the rain because we weren’t allowed to move our items into the home until the next day at 8am. Moving day was then delayed and the painters couldn’t get in the home until later and everything was chaotic. Unfortunately, the laundry room drain system was put in backwards so when the washer came it didn’t fit correctly and when Best Buy installed the wash machine it flooded the laundry room and caused a leak in the living room ceiling. I will say that Loos was amazing because when I called them they came immediately and repaired the damages to the ceiling and installed the drain system correctly. Best Buy however, decided that they would offer the worst customer service and pretty much said to go pound sand. The 6 month review was good. The one thing that I will say is that with three months of living in the home the flooring starting to come up and when I called the builder they stated that the flooring wasn’t under warranty due to it being basic wear and tear. I find that ridiculous since at that time we were only in the home for a couple of months. I did also complain about the bathroom floor it looks like whoever, installed the flooring ripped the floor and they decided to put glue over it so now it looks like there is a puddle on the floor all the time. When I reached out to the flooring guy which I have been doing for months now he keeps saying he will come over and then never shows up. When I talked to the builder about this I was told that he is very busy but to keep calling him. We have gotten a lot of compliments on our knock down on the walls and the house quality. They did a great job with the basement. I love the room sizes and our house was in our price range. I will say that I am disappointed with the flooring and will continue to keep contacting the company however, it appears to be a significant challenge and I don’t think that a house that isn’t even a year old should have flooring coming up. The cabinets are a little warped but I think that the price of the home with materials is reasonable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Loos because the flooring drives me crazy. Every time someone uses our bathroom they comment on the “puddle” on the floor and we have to explain what it is. I will say the builder did give us an awesome gift which was a bench after we moved in and we love it. I just wish there was more follow through with the flooring it’s pretty crucial in a home to have flooring not coming up after a couple of months.
