By all means, I understand financial binds that a lot of people find themselves in, at any given time, but I would highly advise to stay clear of this specific location and company for that matter. Despite the initial friendliness and “non-discriminatory” behaviors of the women at the location, it is quickly diminished after the first visit, with the exception of Tanja. The business of this company, and those of the liking, should be considered illegal. First, the loan is not based off of the value of the car, it’s based off of whether or not you have a history with this company, unless we were misled and lowballed on behalf of the women at the location who handled the account. Second, the title was sent off 2 days after the loan was received (1official business day). This is BEFORE the customers 30 day period ends. By sending off the title to the state, this puts an undetermined date of arrival for the return of the title. I had the money for the title within the 30 day deadline for the loan, but my title was not at the location. So on top of my title not being at the location, I’m accruing interest fees at at almost $50/day. I’m assuming the expectation was to pay the loan and not walk out with my title but that’s not how it works for the customer. I have to have title in hand to receive payment and that’s fine in the companies policy but not in the same regards to the customer. They EXPECT payment and you walk away with a “receipt of payment”, that’s not a fair trade off. Third, I’m going to go out and claim that there’s definitely some type of prejudicial undertones at this location. The sly remarks from one of the women seem a bit out of “tone”, from a customers perspective.

I had the pleasure of working with the employees at Loan Star Title Loans. They have the best customer service. Everyone is nice in the office, and they will get you in and out in a hurry.
