I was talking to several other loan officers through the same mortgage there were only two people including Jennifer like that. I have gone through the mortgage process 8 times in the last 8 years and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. Khang Nguyen was excellent and was the only person I worked with from start to finish. No passing files off to a counterpart which was a first, Khang was extremely responsive, almost always picked up my calls on the first attempt and typically got back to me within an hour if he didn't pick up. As I was shopping for rates, Khang didn't mind providing updated rates multiple times throughout the day when bond yields and rates were fluctuating rapidly (due to Ukraine/Russia situation) which was appreciated and helped me lock in the best rate across 10 or so lenders and it happened to be end of the day on a Friday. He provided 4 updates between noon at 5pm, one I didn't even ask for but he noticed an improvement. Additionally, their system for uploading files was user friendly, intuitive and I never had to resubmit a single file. I've have mortgages with Bank of America, Chase, PNC and some regional banks and was a little skeptical up front but honestly this was hands down the best experience (and I have no affiliation with Khang or Loan Lock).

Did my research and shopped around. Cody was by far the most knowledgeable and attentive lender we talked to. He even had the best quote, so we decided to go with him. Cody made the whole process go smoothly, and was quick to respond with any questions we had. I contacted Cody about a possible refinance because I knew that rates had dropped. I wasn't optimistic because other lenders had said I probably couldn't qualify, but Cody quickly ran the numbers and said there was a good chance it would work. When it came time to discuss rates and fees, he was very clear about the options and was able to offer an extremely good rate, about 0.25% lower than I was expecting. We locked the rate just a few days after the first call and the loan closed in around 3 weeks. Cody responded quickly by email when questions came up and he and his team processed the documents I sent right away. He didn't promise anything he couldn't deliver. It was a very easy transaction overall and I'm happy to have gotten such a low rate. I would definitely recommend him.

Worked with Khang Nguyen to purchase a home in NJ and he was fantastic. Patiently answers all your questions, keeps you in the loop. Got the most competitive rates we came across, a sweet closing credit, and satisfactory appraisal on the property. Closed on time, well in advance of the 45 day lock in period.

When my husband and I started to shop for homes, we quickly knew that not only did we need to shop around for homes for sell, but we needed to spend time finding a lender to help us make our dreams of getting into a larger single family home possible. From exploring options from new construction, home improvement loans, and traditional loans, we initially connected with Helena Pham from LoanLock and basically knew we did not need to look any further. Helena was super quick to respond to our initial inquiry for information upon us filling out a short questionnaire. She made the first consultation super painless. Jennifer was fantastic—incredibly responsive and supportive throughout the entire process. She lives up to the hype of the reviews, which was why I initially contacted her.  My initial promised closing costs went up by around $500, mostly because the appraisal companies all raised their rates due to covid and the high demand (paid an additional $450).  As for Loan Lock, I have no regrets as it was the best rate after having shopped around at a few places, and I had been ready to incur closing costs for the lower rate.  However, I will say going through a mortgage broker company may not be for everyone, as there were more hoops to jump through, and definitely do not plan any travel until it closes as there may be last-minute changes.  Still, I’d recommend if you have the time to get a great rate, and definitely ask for Jennifer!
