My experience with Loan Depot is great so far. It's been less than a week, and everything is running smoothly. I am fortunate that they connected me with an Executive Loan Officer (Art Keener). Art is very knowledgeable and very thorough. He walked me through the application process with as much information as possible so I can completely understand why all the documents are needed to be filled up and completed. He really spent a long time with his customer (Me) to make sure that I submit and finish the requirements. He has an excellent customer service orientation. Loan Depot's online portal also makes it easier for loan applicants to submit the requirements. And I am also very pleased that the appraisal of my house is also done! In less than a week! Looking forward to a continued smooth and fast processing of my loan. I hope we can close in less than a month. :)

I was informed and guided through the process at every step of the way. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly. No stone was left unturned. I liked and appreciated that I could check the progress of my loan application online at any time or if I needed to actually talk to someone, they were just a call away. I never felt that I was alone in the process. I knew that it was easy to reach out to my lending team. Also I liked that I could view my documents online too....nice plus there.

If I had to do it again for a third time I would go with Loan Depot. I had already been with Loan Depot which helped the process to move that much quicker. The people are top shelf #1. They were all amazingly helpful and kind. No question was left unanswered. They were in touch with me at least once a week or I could call anytime or leave messages in what they call a "portal" which is a secure site for paper signing and seeing how everything is progressing. I did check with other companies before making my final decision. The truth is the whole process was easier than I thought and the signing of some of the papers were done on line. Don't be detoured from that. We all do so many things on the internet that it just made it go that much smoother. The Notary was exceptional. Fast friendly and a local person. I did not know her at the time but I think she became a great reminder that their are still a lot of personable and amazing people out there.

I had the easiest experience with this company. I started to use the mortgage company I was already with for five years, but did not feel like my loan was important to that company so I tried loan depot. My loan officer was Will and the processor was Michael. Not one email or phone call from me was missed and they made sure to keep me updated. The process was smooth and went quickly. I have an FHA loan, so this process in not generally pain free. This time is was there was no issues with the loan and they set the appraisal up within a week. I would highly recommend this company.

Michelle Kim has been fantastic! She communicates excellently and so timely. Never be pushy from the first introduction call and she keeps her grace to her work. She shows true understanding and cares as well. I was dealing with other lenders before and had horrible experiences so believe me your company has very important employee. And I feel so fortunate to get her as my agent. Currently, I’m talking into a few friends who is talking about refinancing including a real estate agent who deals with housing loans constantly for his clients. Shannon Cash contacted me immediately after my inquiry with Lending Tree about a refinance. She was very helpful so We decided to let her handle this for us. Grant is amazing! He's very knowledgeable, patient and made me feel at ease with my many questions. I was comparing him to another company and he gave me a lower interest rate and appraisal waiver. He walked me through all of the paperwork on line, explaining everything thoroughly. Loan Depot is great! They respond and literally walk you through the process. They get answers and don’t give you the runaround or knee jerk reactions. Furthermore, I had several points of contact none of which would just say email this person. They all worked as a team and got my loan completed. No last minute submissions and they were HONEST. There were no surprises. Loved the experience. I would actually work for this company… and I don’t say that very often.

The process was not only smooth but they made me feel comfortable the entire time, answered all my questions, and provided the best options even if the option was better for me than it was for them. The processing of the loan was exceptional! The emails and phone calls from Clemens and Derek were reassuring at every step of the process. They were excellent in all aspects! Dealing with the team that I dealt with at loan depot was so smooth and and relatively stress free.. What little bit of questions I had and the few hiccups that I thought might have been going on, they dealt with very promptly. They got back with me and in a good amount of time even when they had personal stuff going on and they always had a positive attitude and I was very happy to work with them and would recommend them to anybody. From the time I filled out the loan application to when I signed closing papers, it was only about 6 weeks. Everything went smoothly! My loan contact person Ellie Breitbach and her staff worked well together to get what they needed from me to get my loan approved by the closing date. Now that I’ve closed on my house, they offer an easy way to pay your mortgage payment online. I appreciate that! That way, I don’t have to pay for a stamp and my check doesn’t get lost in the mail. i contacted loan depot as I was considering a REFI on my home. I spoke with Jesse Kuhn who took his time and started me on the process. He explained everything and made me feel safe and comfortable with your company. After I had started the loan my wife and I discussed the need for the loan and changed our minds. I called Jesse and told him and he did a good job of trying to keep me in the loan but did no pressure me. We still canceled the loan. A few days later I had some questions as too some paper work I had received. I called Jesse and got his voice mail and figured here we go with not responding. Within 20 minutes he called back and explained everything. With this experience I would definitely use Jesse and loan Depot again if needed

Josh has been absolutely delightful. The process that I dreaded was done so easily. He made it simple answered any questions we had (not many bc he was thorough) and seemed genuinely interested in helping you. We were already well approved by a competitor and he worked hard to get the business, and succeeded. We are thrilled.

They were easier than dealing with my home town bank which I have banked with for over 45 years and were reluctant to refinance my house. Loan Depot's process was easy and they did all the work. They were easy to communicate with whenever I had a question.

Initially, when I was told what was needed; I was like this is great because I was able to gather majority of these documents real time. The Retention Licensed Lending Officer Chris Lineberger was normally quick with his inputs and directions. The closing attorney was quick to contact me because she was contacted last minute and wanted too make sure that we could meet in order to get the documents signed which happened in about a period of 24 hours form initial contact to closing. This review doesn't reflect the individuals mentioned above but rather the additional funding provided by the buyer because of miscommunication with all parties involved. It took roughly 90 days to get this deal done.

I have been very happy with my refinancing experience with Loan Depot. The process was quick, painless and everyone I communicated with was pleasant and professional. Cory Shore was polite and persistent, but never pushy. He worked hard to make sure I was comfortable and understood everything. At no point was I confused with any of his explanations, and never felt there was any wordplay to mislead me. I appreciated that, as a different company and rep was not so forthcoming in their explanations.

Did't much care for the fact that I contacted Loan Depot 5 months ago to inform them that the original owner had past away, my Mother.I was told that there should be no issue with taking her the mortgage. I am her daughter and was living here when she had passed. It's not like I was a complete stranger trying to buy a house. She had refinances so we, my husband and I, would be able to stay in the house with a lower mortgage. Well, now I'm told I can't assume her mortgage, that I would need to refinance it in my name. OK ... Great. I've gone from a 2.? interest, which is why she refinances in the first place, to now 5.?. Now i have to pay double what I was paying before. Alex is Awesome. He is trying to do the best he can to get me to a good place. A place where we can keep my Mother's house.

Everything was wonderful! I worked with Martin and Christine and both were very knowledgeable and patient. They responded almost immediately to any questions that I had. The documents were overwhelming and both Christine and Martin took the time to review and summarize each document with me. This was extremely helpful. They made what could have been a stressful situation very pleasant.

Michael was easy to talk to, helpful, and knowledgeable. He didn't pressure me into the loan at all. He just explained my option and how it was affect me. He gladly ran multiple scenarios until we found the option that fit my need. I have kept his contact information and will reach out to him first if I ever need help again.

After going through a bad refinancing experience with our last company (Mr. Cooper) where there was poor communication, over promising and under delivering on both the service and proficiency of the loan agent, we were prepared for a similar experience with Loan Depot. It was night and day. There was clear communication and direction, realistic expectations set and then exceeded, and good guidance throughout the process. I would recommend Loan Depot to my friends and family.

Our loan servicer Frankie is very polite and has been very good at explaining everything and providing discounts and doing everything he can to meet our needs without feeling like we’re being ripped off. This is the second time we have come to loanDepot for refinancing because we were treated so good the first time. This is a second time refinance on a different home.

I oh I was very happy with the total service I received. The loan officer was exceptionally good. He was very knowledgeable in a long process, spent extra time explaining my options to me, and when I need another loan I would be directed to you again because of his efficiency, and the effort you put in to help you.

While everything that goes into anything that have to do with a home, finances, credit etc. All the different loan officers that contact you regarding your inquiry telling you they can get your request approved, only to find out that you've provided all the information, took a hit on your credit reports and all the time spent speaking with loan officers you come to the end results and they say, "I can't get you a loan". Mitchell called me, usually, I tell the caller I'm not available because I already know how its going to go, I didn't do this with Mitchell. Within the 1st few minutes, he proved he is different, he listened to my journey and did not assume anything about me. Up to this point he had did what he told me he will do, I've never gotten this far with any loan officer. Mitchell explained the process in a way that was not to much information, he was honest about what he can do and he was nice to speak with. Working with him is easy, now, maybe he is just good at what he does because its his job, or maybe he truly care about people, but what ever his motivation is, he made me feel that he does care about people.

Livan was so helpful! I didn’t feel like he was just trying to take my money. He truly wanted me to have the best options with my refinancing as possible. When things weren’t looking good, he worked diligently to get my refinance going. He always kept me informed and when we found out I would have to wait 2 months, he would message me periodically checking on me. It was nice to feel like someone truly cared about me and protecting my assets.

I was very happy with the communication between me and Jonathan. He is very nice guy and I like him, He was a great help in this process. Valley was also a great help and make sure to follow up with every step of the way. Good people to work with.

Jose was very helpful in answering my questions and helping the process forward by tying up loose ends with my present mortgage company. With my busy work schedule, it is tough sometimes to find the time to get everything done in a short time frame. Jose has always answered my calls and been able to gather documents needed that would have taken additional time on my behalf. I have given Loan Depot the opportunity to service my refinance. All the documents that were asked of me were give to you on the same day from both my wife and myself. Yet over 3 weeks later here i sit no closer to my refinance being complete than when I started. I cant' even get an appraisal appointment. Good thing Its not final. it gives me the opportunity to find a new lender.

I would highly recommend Loan Depot! More importantly, Scott Short is a loan consultant. He is friendly, and personable and will take the time before and after you close to answer any and all questions. I had a lot of questions about my first and second home purchase and he was so gracious in answering them and made it clear he was there to help in any way possible!

They said they could help me. He told me he was a senior loan officer. I was upfront about everything. He pulls my credit then tells me underwriting wasn't going to believe it was my primary residence. I rent a room to avoid the commute since my partner and I have different schedules. Wanted to charge me a higher rate then says sorry can't help you. I was a returning customer. Never again.

While trying to find someone to help me this lady from a desk in the middle of all the appliances and set up kitchen models called out to help me and then a very pleasant exchange took place. I worked with Rhett Larsen, super kind and willing to point things out and make suggestions. She didn't stop or put me off to someone else (there wasn't anyone anyway). She did it all.

The online process was great. Very simple. Having notary come to me was great. Notary was great. Sarah Rose was great. Rich, Kelsey and Stacey were great until the end, then stopped responding to me.

From the start of our conversation he was very professional, friendly, very approachable in his tone of voice, he listen to my questions and concerns. I was already discourage with other Loan Officers from different Lenders, like Chase Bank and others Lenders. The rep was good for the initial call, but was almost absent after the first 2 calls. I’ve tried to reach out on numerous occasions to get help to get the loan refinance, including to do a new application with a different property, but he never followed up.

Honestly, there were some issues {because of me} and Teri Miller was patient. Teri used everything possible to make this work. Teri worked extremely hard and I am proud to say that I was so pleased that I had her on my side. This would not have happened without Teri's hard work and experience. I don't think this worked out with any other agent.

Travis has been great! Takes time to explain every little detail.Respectful in every way. Also, has little hints on how to present your home better to an appraiser. He is the best!

I got scammed hard by these people! Credit score was 725 and was reassured multiple times that my loan was going to be approved without any hiccups. Everything was smooth until it hit underwriting and because of the incompetence of my entire team and the underwriting team, I lost $550 that they pushed me to pay for in return for a 0.5 point decrease on my mortgage. Everything they told me was a lie! I will NEVER do business with these incompetent people ever again.

Brittney was awesome. She answered all my questions, was patient to explain things properly, provided quick responses to all my questions and was a pleasure to work with. She worked us through the process very quickly and was always very helpful.

My experience with Loan Depot was very good. I have had a lot of trouble trying to get refinanced because of faulty credit reporting by a terrible company. I was finally able to get this done!!! Well, first of all, we were almost ready to close with another lender, when the call came in and I answered if from Loan Depot. Jonathan Betancourt was very helpful, and in a short amount of time, I was certain, that I wanted to go with Loan Depot. (I think we saved approx. $6 to 8,000) in the processed. I called and cancelled out with the other loan company. Once everything was in place, Celia Saavedra completed the process, she too was very knowledgeable about the loan process. My loan officer (Delius Bune) has been fantastic!!! I was very leery about doing a refinance online due to my limited computer skills. He scheduled a time at my convenience to walk me through the process and get us started. He has answered all our questions and returned every call or text in under 10 minutes. The process was so easy but Simon’s professionalism, knowledge and attitude towards helping me and my family felt like it was a priority to him. Loan Depot is the best company. I shopped around but nobody does it better.

There is a lot of “behind the scenes” clerical work that gets done that as customers we did not have to worry about all. We really appreciate the amount of work that goes into refinancing and the amount of work that gets taken care of on our behalf. However, AFTER signing our official documents with a mobile notary our cash back decreased by about $1.4K. This was frustrating and disappointing considering we had just hand signed for a larger amount of cash back than we ended up receiving.

Our loan officer, Michael Accardo, has been very helpful in the process. Professional and courteous, making sure the processes were understood, and encouraging questions all along the way. The experience has been a pleasure thus far.

I did not have a good experience with my original loan so I was hesitant about refinancing with them. They won me over. The whole process was three weeks. They provided timely refinance process and responded quickly to my questions.

I was in a bind with having an accepted offer and navy federal was giving me the run around I was referred to Jillian she jumped right in got all my stuff and got right to work on my file and extremely communicative and helpful. I have already recommended her to a number of people

I spoke with Karim and we discussed the potential of having a refinance performed on my house. I requested a credit check and was charged $22 which I was okay with so that we could potentially move forward AFTER I discussed the terms and conditions with my wife. The next morning, I was charged $495 for an appraisal fee that I did not authorize! My instructions were clear to Karim that I was not to be charged until my wife and I agreed on the terms and conditions. A phone call between him and I, was scheduled for that afternoon to discuss which direction my wife and I would go with our options but I was charged prematurely that morning instead. I have not received a refund either. I will never use LoanDepot as a lender for any of my investments and will be sure to tell every homeowner that I know that this company is unprofessional and the communication between the Loan Officer and Underwriting department speaks for itself due to the aforementioned issues.

From the initial interaction with my Loan Officer Matt I knew his client service was awesome! He patiently guided me thru the process step by step. Matt addressed all of my concerns and questions. It was his service that persuaded me to go with Loan Depot as opposed to Carrington Mortgage.

There was never a pushy sales pitch. We were never pushed into any decision. Everything was explained clearly and all our questions answered. We were kept updated every step of the way. Our closing went quickly and smoothly.

Alan and Demetria took the time to explain my situation and what I needed to do to help me build my credit and improve my financial portfolio. They kept me updated on every step needed and how long it might take. I knew schedules and when to look for my next steps needed in the process. When we faced set backs they put their heads together to make sure we came up with a solution and could continue to move forward. My process took four months but it did not even feel like that because every step of the process was explained well and hope was kept alive.

My experience with Loan Depot, Aaron Armstrong has been and continues to be exceptional. Aaron has been with me since the beginning. His patience, his knowledge, his communication is on point. Definitely 'my to go person' for the next purchase.

Loan agent was very thorough and I like his process. I did have a hiccup with my wife and my legal status on the loan application. But he and the senior account manager fixed it. Crystal, the account manager, made the process, so far, seamless.

I found Scot to be the typical sales person there were a lot of promises made up front.. When I decided that I was going to shop around and put the process on hold scott's attitude changed. If he could offer me a deal better than what he initially did then he should have no one has time to play games . When I called him about getting my refund for the appraisal that I never confirmed he basically put it back on me to work it out myself that really turned me off

Sandra Keys and her team were amazing with helping us get our loan. She answered all our questions and explained everything we needed to do. I highly recommend them.

Keep the process simple. The one, and only one, suggestion would be to do better in handing the process over from one person to the other. Each person in the process needed a little more knowledge of our situation having two places: One a rental in PA and the home we remortgaged in NC. I believe this caused a delay in the process and the need for more possibly unnecessary documentation.

Process throughout, locking the rate in timely manner. Documentation requests, followup all through portal was just great. Knowledgeable loan processor, inputs on timeline, rates.. all worked well this time.

I am still in the waiting period but I am very impressed with the service and information provided me thus far and the questions answered when I was a bit hesitant and/or reluctant to put the funds down on an endeavor of which I little background or. knowledge. Any questions were answered thoroughly and quickly. It was just a smooth process all together and I was informed the entire time. I felt we worked with true professionals from the Loan Consultant to the Notary.

Gary Moore was an outstanding loan officer and up until closing providing a nearly 5 star experience. At closing the closer (NOT Gary) did not have the appropriate documents ready for signing. He was not readily available by phone and did not respond quickly to questions. He had to redo the documents several times and have me re-sign the documents several times. The last time I had to sign the documents I was already at the airport and had to return to the closing office. This cost me an extra $2000 to catch a later flight. Loan Depot did NOTHING to accommodate for my troubles for errors that were clearly mistakes in processes on their end. Afterward managers called and discussed the situation with me and apologized and promised remedies, but then ghosted me when I followed up.

Becky B. and Mark Merry were amazing getting my mortgage loan through. Becky was so flexible and helpful with helping me identify and upload the necessary documents and willing to work through communication adn document sharing methods other than the LoanDepot portal. She was always available to provide great solutions to my questions and actually providing solutions. As someone who is not god at executing basic administrative life tasks, Becky and Mark made what I would consider a mountain of admin tasks do-able and painless. Even my realtor who is a good friend who has known me for years was amazed "I" was able to get this done in time!

The Loan officer was very Knowledgable and Personable. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction and explained the loan process very well. I never felt pressured which was huge for me. This was not the case with several of the other companies I was contacted by.

Brian Cheatham was very professional and helpful. The rest of the process was extremely disappointing and frustrating. My advice to anyone is do not even consider Loan Depot! I will post a Google review that uses ever word that can be used to described how poor the process is with Loan Depot. I started the loan process with Loan Depot 45 days before the anticipated closing date. The night before the planned closing date I am providing information that should have been ask some time in the pervious 45 days. Information that I had provided early in the process was asked for again 24 hours before closing. I had to delay cleaning and furniture arriving because we could not get a clear to close acknowledgment sent to the title company. I provided every document requested in a timely manner. Brian Cheatham was my only contact that tried to communicate with me. No one at Loan Depot other than Brian was accountable for completing anything. In hindsight, I would pay extra to not go through the total breakdown of the process of securing a mortgage. Words really cannot describe how difficult this was. My hope is that someone can benefit from my truthful review. I have no reason to be this negative other than working with Loan Depot was as bad an experience as you can imagine. You have been warned!

My initial loan with another lender was denied at the last minute because of a technicality with the HOA and I was in a panic. I contacted loanDepot and they swooped in to save the day! My loan advisor took off running with my application and got everything done so seamlessly that I wished I had chosen loanDepot initial over my other lender to save myself the headache. Everything was thorough and even assigned to my load effectively communicated with me every step of the way! Were in a covid world. Your people called me. I never reached out. I was told my loan was most likely doable without an in house appraisal. No one called me back and then I was transferred to another guy with a loan offer with an in house appraisal I already said I am not doing. We have followed all cdc guidelines and never got covid. I am not letting a stranger in my house to do an appraisal. Lots of friends of mine have the same fears and drive by appraisals and comparables were done and their loans were refinanced. I had 3 late payments in 2019 which they say hurts me. I wasnt even late. My wife lost her job and they split a month over the next 3 for me then reported them as late. Glad to know that still effects me 3 years later after surviving a forbearance and finding a way to pay it off in full and make my next 3-4 payments. It shouldnt be hard to tell someone we cant do a no appraisal. No reason to send them offers and be contacted by another person like you are ready to do this. I prefer to work with one person at a time. Now I have a bunch of hits on my credit report and No loan when I was told this sounds very doable at first. Just a waste of my time again

The first call with Walt never happened. I waited for a call but didn't get one. The next time Walt called I had already looked over the documents and decided not to refi because the points cost was too high and I was only offered one option. Walt then called me and began to tell me how I didn't understand what I was doing and that I was focused on the wrong thing. He told me I didn't have a financial plan and that I would never be able to pay off my enormous debt. He insisted that he spoken with me earlier and that I had said things different. I told him I had never spoken to him before and he said he spoke with my husband. My husband had never spoken with him either . He got so upset and insisted he had spoken with us already, which he hadn't. He was so rude I would never do business with him. I am still planning on doing a refi but I guess I will look elsewhere. I currently have my loan with Loan Depot so I guess that will change as well.

I’m a first time homebuyer and this process was not a good one at all. I know buying a home is a big deal which leads to a ton of stress but dealing with a company that doesn’t communicate effectively and take that into consideration makes it so much worse. There was so much that wasn’t communicated to me and every time I would ask a question or raise a valid concern they would constantly throw in my face how they “gave me 10k” for closing cost. The process was stressful and overall it was a bad experience. I tried to find a better company but I was too far in the process but I still can’t wait to refinance. Save yourself a headache and go with a company who will be patient ESPECIALLY if you are a first time homebuyer. A company who doesn’t make decisions for you and treats you like a person instead of another application and money in their pockets. For all my headache I was promised a gift card that I didn’t even get. You’ve been warned.

Felt like I was being helped by a used car salesman. Very pushy and not understanding that im the customer who will be borrowing, spending and paying this loan back. I wanted to look at other options and he seemed ok with that. but kept trying to force me to move forward. Then after a not so good conversation with him because he was being so pushy, he tells me that the company was trying to process through so many loans in a month to meet a quota. Once again, like a used car salesman. There i so much more to this story, but i dont think it matters. But just recently, i was mailed papers that said you couldnt help me anymore because of my credit, but yet i was pre-approved because of my credit and even paid 23.00 to lock in my rate. Im just thinking now that this is his way or your companies way getting rid of me. So, i would never ever refer anyone to your company. i think its horrible customer service and bad people.

It was a pleasant experience unusual with most loan companies. Kathy was pleasant and very competent. I felt completely comfortable with her.

You you ultimately did honor your word and stick with the rate lock at 3.75 although I still wish I had gone with amerisave 3.375. Oh well, at least your closing costs were lower, and I still did get this fairly decent rate even when the market shifted, so yeah I guess in the end you guys did get it done, but there were lots of unnecessary delays and it was extremely irritating and unprofessional.

Loan Depot stuck with me even when I felt like I was ready to give up. I frustration over getting so many quotes and talking to so many loan people. They advised me and saved me from making a terrible mistake with another company I got a great loan and the lowest quote out there.

I began the process too refi with Loan Depot in February. The first loan officer, Erwin Mactiag, in the middle of the process decided to go on vacation. I went for ten day that I could not contact him. No one else new what he was doing, I could never get a return call from him, regardless how many messages I left for him. He would never return calls. Loan Depot declined the mortgage application due to incomplete/missing documents to which I blame Erwin Mactiag for his lack of concern for a client. This man needs to find another line of work. The second time Sally Costas, a manager jumped in and processed my application and stayed on top of it all the way through closing. She made it a pleasant process. She would immediately contact me if she needed a document or needed an explanation of something. She kept me informed on almost a daily basis. My hat is of to Ms. Costas. She is knowledgeable, efficient, professional and very pleasant to work with.

I refinanced an existing loan with LoanDepot and it was the most horrible transaction I ever had. The person handling my loan was not accurate in her numbers and continually made changes/corrections....so sloppy I don't know if I was taken advantage or not. More importanly, I was just informed I would not receive my escrow funds from the existing loan!! I will be refinancing ASAP to another lender. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

AChrista Malamut was a rock star, she worked very hard to get my loan to closing and was very helpful, though Loan Depot should have your senior loan officers trained and equipped with the information customers would ask about a funded loan. Copping out with "that isn't something a Senior loan officer would know" is, again, terrible customer service.

Our rep, Deon, worked with us very closely. She put in a good fight to help us get through underwriting as curveballs kept being thrown our way. She was very honest and kept us in the loop the entire time.

I WANT THAT TAKEN OFF OF MY RECORDS!! PLEASE DELETE THE LOAN DENIAL LETTER. that cannot look good on my credit report. I hope loan depot did not end up screwing me in this process...there could be actions taken.

I do not appreciate being miss led to believe you are really helping me when in fact you are trying to take advantage of my situation and by sending me a contract to review and sign Charging a combine fee (Closing cost $6944.52 and discount points $14352.49) totaling $22,297.01, Mtg balance is $111,000.00 and making my new loan amount $133,005.61 and that's NOT ALL sticking me with a ARM Loan this is after we (Lori Senator and I) spoke about refinancing loan Irrrl at a better rate and or doing a cash out by February 2023. When I received a package stating the total opposite of what we spoke about made me furious but at least the her true colors came out as well as loan depot by being deceiving doing anything to take advantage of their customers, having said this DO NOT CALL AND OR SEND ME ANY FURTHER OFFERS FOR ANY TYPE OF LOANS. But this information will be sent to the Better Business Bureau and other agencies needing to know your unethical business practices.

Jono Harper and Tammy Vuong are hard working, caring and thorough people who seem to genuinely want the process to move forward. I haven’t, obviously, talked to any underwriter since they are shrouded away in mystery and though I could have cleared up a simple question that caused the loan process to screech to a halt and then have to begin again, I was not given that opportunity. At this point, it seems that LD is more concerned with getting people through the door than actually completing the loan process.

LoanDepot and al the people I worked with were friendly, polite and as helpful as they could be. I have gone through one series of completing a refinance that didn't go through. This was not the fault of LoadDepot or any of the people I was in contact with or the LoadDepot people working in the background. They simply could not fine a property appraiser in my area to come out and appraise my property. This was in the winter, we had 4 feet of snow on top of 3 inches of ice on the ground and all the highways were extremely slippery. People just did not want to get out in that in freezing temperatures. I am working with LoanDepot agents right now to get this project moving again and hopefully with the snow all gone and the trees all green poperty appraisers will be willing to come out and look at the property.

Rooz was knowledgeable re: All the material he was explaining to me we got a mortgage refinances interest rates etc. Very patient friendly to talk to.

You got us the money at a 3.99% interest rate but we had to have 3 closings due to documents that were not included at the closing. We closed and received loan disclosure documents up to a week after the closing. I think we received ~15 different loan disclosures during the process.

Humberto was our loan specialist and my wife and I were seeing if the refinance of our home would be better to go through Loan Depot rather than Rocket Mortgage. When this loan specialist completed his quote he became very pushy and would not allow us the opportunity to think about the decision. We had to hang up on this loan specialist because of his attitude towards us. Loan Depot has now lost their business with us.

Job responsibilities out a hold on my process. But your company pushed and pushed with ridiculous amounts of emails and txt messages after I informed you of the issues that required holding off for a bit. Plus, still havent been credited 400+$ that I was charged for an appraisal that never happened.

We feel that Karim has worked with us to ensure the best possible experience. The process has been very quick and he has answered all our questions.

Loan Depot has not provided us with an updated tax analysis to include our exemptions, raising our monthly payment more than double and continues to refuse to help us. We have been attempting to solve this problem since March and this is the second year in a row that they have done this. Last year it took over 6 months to correct. We will not wait that long again. This is a VA loan and I will switch mortgage companies ASAP if not corrected. I have also reported this to the office of Veterans Affairs for further examination.

Your agents do not have a clue about what each other is responsible for. I get invoices with unexplained fees added to my monthly payment. Even when I have called and tried to resolve it, the next invoice will have the same fees added. I will be calling again today and begin looking for another place to refinance. The 2.99% is worthless with the fees added.

The thing that I appreciate most was that one of the people I spoke to did a little research on a Re-Fi I had doubts about and found that it was a scam,the Co. had been suspended from doing business since 2009. He saved me a BUNCH of worry and stress.

Do to loanDepot lack of knowledge of indiana law. I was refused refinancing and I paid for a appraisal for nothing. They tried to make me pay somebody else debt before I can refinance my house.

I highly recommend loan depot the staff is very knowledgeable and always there to answer any questions specially Brendan McGill my loan officer. They got my refinance done in a timely manner and, I was able to get great rates even with a credit score as low as mine (in the low 600s)

In short: deceptive mortgage agents. I requested info from lending tree about a HELOC. Loan depot agent Julian Channels (NMLS#: 1951617) called me first. I was very clear with him that I was only interested in a HELOC. He said he could give me info on that, took my info and ran a mortgage inquiry on my credit without my authorization, and then proceed to sell me on a cash out refinance. I stopped him and explained clearly again, I am only interested in a HELOC, he then told me he would email me my options. Come to find out Loan Depot doesn't even offer HELOCs. Julian's license should be revoked for his deceptive practices, but it seems to be rooted in Loan Depot's culture, because their agents continue to call me and they all play the same game. I have asked to be removed from their call list but their agents continue to call.

Overall, it's been good. I have felt a little bit pressured and I have some uncertainty about whether refinancing is the right thing for me to do and will provide the best benefit. I've been impressed with which the speed of the process has taken place and the checklist approach/task list has really been great. It's pretty seamless. The situation with my refinancing is still a bit fluid as we have the appraisal pending which will have a significant impact on how things progress. loanDepot appears to be willing to work with me should the numbers change.

The beginning process went pretty smooth. I did ask about pulling money out of my equity, but that was dropped from the conversation pretty quick by them. I also was told by Luke, I would be getting some money back from the amount that I paid them in advance. It was like I was completely forgotten about after the papers were signed. He will not return calls or emails to help with where this money is. I am not sure what to do, but I am not happy being treated like a number. They should be glad I am giving them 3 stars and not 1 because of the after loan closing experience.

We had recently done a refinance with Loan Depot and the process was seamless and painless. We weren't looking to do anything further but being a current customer, Loan Depot saw that there were additional offers/benefits that we could take advantage of. After hearing what was available and taking into account our previous experience, we proceeded. So far so good.

This was an extremely easy process. We did a cash out re-fi and everybody we worked with at Loan Depot was AMAZING. The web portal was pleasant to navigate and it was a breeze to upload all of our documents. The Appraiser was professional and courteous, Riley and Ryan were outstanding,. Everybody involved answered all of our questions and helped us to navigate through everything without a hitch. I’ve heard horror stories about how long and cumbersome it is to re-fi and that was definitely not the case here. From start to finish we were done within a few short weeks. Chris was very helpful and responded quickly to my email or text. My only concern was that the portal did not work after the initial download and I found it frustrating when it instructed me to try again with the same outcome. Finally contacted my loan officer Chris Ames and emailed the remaining documents and he took care of it.

Chris has been a godsend to Karen and me. His voice has a very nice tenor, so it is easy to listen to and understand what he is trying to convey to you. Chris is very prompt on his return calls while starting the escrow and has been on the ball ever since. It is a true pleasure to work with Chris, he is bright, well-spoken, personable, and very knowledgeable. Quite an asset.

Your online portal during the loan process was very helpful, and reason for 2 stars. Other aspects of the process not so great. Lack of communication, seemed that once Loan Officer handed me off he did not feel it necessary to respond to phone request for assistance. The account manager was helpful, and communicated most of the time.

After applying for a couple of home equity loans with other companies it was very refreshing to talk with Barret at Loan Depot. The other companies just seemed like they didn't know what they were doing or they didn't really care. Barret was very cordial, polite, knowledgable, and friendly. It was also nice to find out that we won't have to pay a loan origination fee since our original mortgage was financed through Loan Depot.

Evan Harper and James Llamas were both great to work with. Evan in particular was very responsive and timely in his communication. James was able to quickly resolve one little hiccup we had. The whole loan process from beginning to end went very quickly and painlessly compared to other companies we have worked with in the past. As we began our process of looking and buying a home, LoanDepot's employees were very helpful in making sure we had access to the necessary items to complete our loan. Mr. Greg Schneider was very helpful and resourceful. We are happy with the service we were provided!

Very agravating experience. The portal did not work properly so I kept having to upload the same information into the portal then finally emailed the information to the loan officer directly only To be told she did not have it. Our loan officer was not on top of the process and organized. Items were requested too late which cost us money to overnight them.

Quick, knowledge was current However, you charged for the fee for appraisal, when we stopped the process before we had agreed to move forward. It was stated only credit review charge of 23.05 would be charged until we agreed to move forward with the loan. We had decide not to move forward with a new loan due to our personal needs in the 1st 24 hours. We had to contact our credit card company to stop that payment.

Crystal picked up the loan after our initial officer was OoO during our crunched timeline. She was very thorough and nimble through the process. Very nice to take care of that for us in a time of need.

The team was very proactive in communicating and following up on questions that we had. There was constant communication even though we were in a different time zones. They were also more knowledgeable of VA loans/refinances than other companies that we reached out to.

Initially Brad was Very good at explaining the terms of mortgage loan and helping me online to get all documents signed to get the loan application processed further. He seemed to be very confident that loan will be approved. However, the underwriter did not approve my loan application.

Scott was great. He had the answers I needed and was available for my questions. He explained everything clearly and I felt at ease from the first time we spoke. HOWEVER when he asked me for a credit card to charge the $21 for the credit report, then a couple of days later I saw a charge For $498 for the appraisal. I understood from Scott that the appraisal was waived. I was furious that he charged my credit card without my permission. Then when my loan docs came, the monthly payment was $776 more than we discussed - turns out it was for escrow amount which I told him I pay separately. And there were more points charged to the loan than we discussed. He is great on the front end but weak on the follow through!

Went above and beyond to get my loan approved. Communication was excellent during the entire process.

Christina was very patient, friendly and very versed in what she does. She is able to communicate the refi process and explain what was needed and why. I felt very safe in providing information and documents to her. I felt she cared to put us in a better financial situation then someone just trying to make money.

In my initial conversation, I felt pressured to agree to a charge on my credit card to secure the loan terms before I was able to cross-shop offers from other providers. I felt pressured to choose a higher loan amount (with a higher monthly payment) to make "the deal work". When I notified Jake via email that I was going with another provider, the volume of phone calls and text messages I received was overwhelming and annoying. I provided a competing offer as requested so that LoanDepot could meet or beat the deal, and was met with attitude. I hope my experience is not indicative of a normal experience with your organization. If it is, you really need to dissolve the entire organization.

Robert was exceptionally responsive to my financial needs and helped me get a lending rate that is exceptional for me--not so good for you. And I will tell this story and offer his number to anyone I know who is interested in re-financing.

The loanDepot process was arduous, took much more effort than advertised as they asked for more and more information and at many points they tried to change their commitments on rate and closing costs and in the end did not fulfill all their commitments made to me - even though the conversations were audio taped and a manager reviewed them and told me that I was correct with what I believed to have been committed to. He indicated the mistake in commitment was an "honest mistake" and they could/would not honor part of the commitment. Told me I could move to another loan company and he would understand - but he also knew I had already paid out of pocket for some expenses and the rate I had been quoted was not attainable any longer from the other companies I had gotten quotes from as the mortgage rates had gone up. He knew I had limited alternatives at that point. I believe they do this intentionally, most people don't go through the effort to try to get them to hold up their commitments and they just make more money off the process that way. The person processing the loan and the closer/notary was very good. I would not recommend this firm to someone

very slow process, my case took more than 2 months to settle. You don't get clear number for out of pocket until the very last moment. My Attorney forgot some document and i had to rush to post those documents.

My loan officer didn't listen at all to what I was saying on the phone. I told him explicitly that I did not want to start a process or run any credit and without my approval that's what he did. I received loan documents in the mail a week later without agreeing to move forward. Highly unethical behavior, completely untrustworthy. Horrible experience. I will NEVER do business and will actively speak against working with loandepot. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

your people need to explain the process before making claims and assuming info. secondary phone calls offering special discounts after the first offering sound suspect, unethical if not illegal. add to this attitude that looks down on any inquiry makes for unpleasant business. your people need better "bedside manner" training!

Working with LoanDepot in the very daunting task of refinancing was above my expectations. The process was quick and Dwinnie and Bryce were excellent partners to see this process through. I highly recommend LoanDepot. I'm new with LoanDepot, so I don't have any comment on the loan servicing aspect, but if it's anything like refi experience I doubt I'll have any issues.

We're still evaluating offers. The written proposal we received does NOT meet our requirements and is the most expensive so far. Worse yet, the information as presented is inaccurate and would be legally unsignable. Since you're asking for a review before we've had to respond to you, this is what you're getting for now... Suggestion: be carefule what you ask for without checking with the customer first...

Very easy to connect with, your people were always available and responded promptly. I had contacted you and Rocket Mortgage, and found Loan Depot to be proactive, appearing to actually want my business, something I did not get from Rocket. Actually did all the initial paperwork while I was driving my daughter to college, and the final closing took about 30 minutes. I can now say I have closed on a mortgage than it has taken to clear security some times in the TSA Precheck lane at the airport.

I have closed two deals with Loan Depot. They will say and promise anything initially to get you locked in, like a used car salesman. They are super responsive until you sign and submit all the paperwork. Once your hooked they will ghost you almost the entire process until the end, at which point you find out everything they sold you is incorrect including cost and its too late to take another route! The initial sales pitch is filled with misinformation or out right lies! Could be from lack of knowledge but I feel its more a result of high pressure tactics just to close a deal! They will not respond in a timely manner to request from you, your agents or other partners in your deal. Watch your loan estimates! Your cost will increase significantly as the closing date approaches including your origination fee making it hard to accurate shop there original quotes. Customer care was responsive but it never should have reached them!

Julian is professional yet kind. He is very clear on what I need to provide and what I will expect, and he is willing to work with you. He has made the process easy and smooth.

Communication was extremely poor except for Sabrina Ellis who was a pleasure to work with. One of the managers (I believe his name is David) tried to blame me for a situation created by his own team. They took so long that they ran my credit a second time without my permission after having closed an account without my permission. Not only was the final loan offer not sufficient for my needs (1/10 the amount originally in closing disclosures), but the whole process brought down my credit score by over 100 points and I am now left unable to utilize my $300,000+ worth of equity in my two houses.

We got the rate we wanted; however, that was all that they did well. We were lied to about the potential for our loan being sold to another bank. That was the VERY first question we asked, and we were told "No, it won't be sold." Our final paperwork had a box checked saying it could be sold, and when we questioned it we were told that a box was checked in December saying that it could be sold. The process took 3 1/2 months to complete partially due to the loan processor not opening attachments in a timely fashion. As a result, they requested multiple payoff amounts to our previous mortgage company and every time a new payoff amount was requested we had to pay an additional $50 fee to our previous mortgage company.

Good communication and timely responses. I got a great rate (2.99%) and the closing costs were acceptable. Upon a second review I got a better deal saving me an extra $1K in closing costs.

Jesse filled out the paperwork while asking me questions. I liked that a lot and appreciate him answering any questions that I asked when signing forms. The process was very simple for me.

Travis Smith, our Loan Officer, has been great from the start to the finish. During the initial phases of discussion, he proactively offered a loan solution that would allow us to save money in the long term with a lower rate and the potential to recast the loan in the near term to lower our payment without refinancing. Even texted the day of the Ukranian invasion by Russia, as he was seeing the rates increase pre-market open, and suggested we lock-in rates before they increase. Easy to work with and understood what we wanted to get done. Tammy Vuong has also been helpful in moving the process along, as well.

Loan Depot communicated well and worked very well with me knowing i was in a state 1200 miles away. The communication was clear, the website was simple to work in, and when i had a question they were always available.

It was a pleasant conversation I had with Jennifer but all I wanted to do was inquire about what interest rate we could get. There was a hard inquiry done without our permission and now we will have our credit rating affected because of this.

Very bad experience. I initially applied in July 23, 2021 but nothing happened until December 2021. The only thing I got regularly from Loan depot was weekly update which says: "loan depot is working on it." and extending the rate lock when it expires. I was really shocked by this experience with Loan Depot. Josh Ysais is the only very friendly person who also responses the calls and answered my questions. But the loan officer Shane McInnes never bothered to response my calls.
