I stopped in to see if getting a money order was possible if I wasn't a customer, since I bank online. It wasn't, and that's what I expected to hear, but what I didn't expect was that the teller and another employee actively helped me brainstorm where I could go to get a money order. I had already been to Schnucks and Target, as well as Bank of America. They were so kind and helpful, really going above and beyond. If I ever choose to get a brick-and-mortar bank, you bet I'll go to Lindell.

    Response from the owner

WOW! Thank you R Cusick! This is the best kind of review we could get from a “potential” customer! We are so glad we could help you!

I'm so disappointed in the bank online app. It serves no purpose if the bank is closed. I lost my debit card after hours and was unable to contact the bank to report it stolen or lost. Because after business hours you can only leave a message if you don't know your party extension. So while someone is out there using your card you're just leaving a message to the bank about it that serves no purpose. How is leaving a message going to help me stop somebody from using my debit card? I could not even turn my card off to stop someone else from using it. I was lucky to have my account number and routing number to transfer all my money out the bank to another debit card

    Response from the owner

Hey William! Please give us a call so we can tell you about our MobiMoney app! It's an app that allows you to completely control your debit card! Set limits, turn on/off, get notifications... PLUS it's FREE!!! Hopefully this won't happen again but if it does, now you can be protected! Thank you for your business!

Not my kind of place! I stopped at this Bank to use the ATM. The only ATM here is a drive thru ATM and because I was on foot I was the weirdo holding up the flow of traffic while getting money from the ATM... So at first I entered the bank looking for an ATM and was greeted by a polite guard. I asked if they have an ATM however the guard was more concerned about my baseball cap I had on and requested that I remove it because they have a no hat policy! WTF.... I asked him if he was serious and he responded, Yes because it keeps the robberies down! I left it alone and asked again about the ATM and he directed me to the drive thru ATM... I have to ask myself if securing this banks safety by giving up my liberties is worth it? Absolutely not! I will NEVER use any services from this Bank again!

    Response from the owner

Hi Randy! We're sorry your experience was not what you expected. We are "The Bank of Personal Service" and the safety & security of all our customers and staff will ALWAYS be our first priority! Since 90% or more of robberies have suspects with hoods or hats, most banks are adopting a "No hat, No hood" policy for everyone's protection in the lobby. We can understand your position & hope you'll reconsider now that you understand ours. We do offer cash advance services at the teller line next time you are in the area. Thank you for the consideration.

As a teller, I never handled these types of situations. I am still a customer and should not receive poor customer service. It has been 4 days and my Netteller still has not been set up. When I did work there the Bank Manager (Ken Shaw) did set up and handle Nettellers. I reported him for harassment so this is the retaliation the bank allows to continue even after I have left the bank and chose other employment.

    Response from the owner

We're sorry your experience was not what you expected. Perhaps we will get the opportunity to change your mind and correct the issue if we had more information. Thank you for your consideration and review.

I agree with it feeling like a small town bank with great service. They were proactive when Schnucks had the problem with customers' cards being compromised; I received a new debit card in the mail without having to request one. Our scout group also chose them since they were the easiest to work with when opening an account for a new troop.

    Response from the owner

Great to hear about your experience Laurie! Thank you for taking the time to write a FIVE STAR review!

Five star service. Friendly bank tellers. Excellent APR's on savings accounts. And not too costly on loans and checking account fees.

    Response from the owner

Jimmy, thank you so much for the FIVE STAR review!
